Every time I stop here, Im never disappointed. This is a reliable street vendor, very clean, english and spanish speaking, respectful and family run. The food is always consistent and delicious, and the prices are very fair. One of the few places offering deliciously soft and juicy lengua, just wish they also had cabeza! :-) Best of all they are open till midnight which is hard to come by in this area. I have even come by on a rainy night and they are still open for business, with tarps up around the seating area. There is a constant flow of people coming to eat here, so you know its good. Even when there is a line, they are very quick with the orders so you never have to wait long. I appreciate the ambience as well for being a street vendor in a parking lot, they are quiet and low key which allows for a peaceful meal and conversation with friends and family. Being from San Diego, it's really hard to find good mexican food in the PNW so this place is a gem! Definitely recommend you stop by here, you will keep coming back! The only thing I would change is to add one of those little automatic hand cleansers because my hands are always covered in sauce afterwards! :-P

4", double tortilla tacos. Adobada is faboo! (Marinated pork with chopped pineapple)

“This is the first Street vendor I see that has a wash station (which I witnessed the cook use several times during my visit), so major thumbs up for that.”

Extremely clean restaurant with excellent customer service and love having the salsa bar…read more The breakfast burrito is huge, filling, and delicious. The tortilla tasted super fresh. If they don't make them I would guess they have a provider who makes them fresh. So good. The food came out so fast and they have a drive thru. We are looking forward to coming back.

Had a wonderful experience at my first time eating at Lucy's Taco Shop! I ate in their spotless…read moredining area (the restroom was immaculate too). They have a huge menu on display. There are 27 combo plates that include rice and refried beans. Most are bargain priced at $14.25 (only three were $17 for shrimp). I had a burrito bowl with carnitas. It was very tasty with a large portion of pork, pico de gallo, rice, refried beans, guacamole and sour cream topped with shredded lettuce and cheese. It was a lot to eat for $13. Portions are substantial and most patrons left with a box to take the remainder of their meals home. They have long hours from 7 am to 11 pm seven days a week. I noticed that they have an extensive breakfast menu too. Delivery of the food was very fast both for the dining in and drive-thru customers. One thing to note about their location. They're in the former Jack in the Box building on the corner of Cheryl Lane and Highway 99 across from the vacant Ray's Food Place in Phoenix. If you're driving from the south on Highway 99 you cannot cross the median to drive into the restaurant. You need to turn left at the light into the Ray's parking lot (or drive straight at the light into Ray's if coming from I-5), turn right and cross Cheryl Lane to get into their parking area or turn into the drive-thru for Lucy's Taco Shop. Leaving is back through the parking area to Cheryl Lane. Phoenix has a confusing interchange to get onto I-5. When you're leaving. drive past the Chevron station to turn left by the former Rite Aid to head towards the freeway entrances. Join Highway 99 in either direction from the light coming out of Ray's parking lot. It's worth the driving logistics the first time to get to Lucy's Taco Shop to support this family owned business. I know it won't be the last time I eat there!
