Honestly most the time I order from here the food is good enough. But recently I had a plate from this location that had a massive women hair in it. Didn't really enjoy pulling this long hair out of my mouth like a fish line from the ocean to see what I've caught. Now granted this is unavoidable as I have worked in the food and service industry for most of my life and know it happens. What made me write this review is the fact that the people who handled my food were not wearing hats, hairnets or having their hair pulled up above the neck and ears which is a OR health code violation. I know that it could have been the end of their night, and they were done nearly done with their shifts or whatever, BUT rules are rules for a reason. I don't often stop at food trucks, especially if there is no seating, but made an exception to try the spam musubi here. It was good, the spam slice was a bit thin and it was in the middle of the rice cube instead of on top but the taste, there was a light teriyaki sauce, was excellent. Only one type of musubi is available. Ideally, it should have a pickled turnip next to the meat, but many places skip that. Musubi can be made with chicken and/or egg instead of spam and in Japan, salmon is most often used. Cute server, but of course that's not relevant. read more

Fast service, the food was ready in what felt like seconds! I stopped by one Thursday afternoon after work and ordered their chicken teriyaki and the pork meals. (one for me and my mom to try since she loves teriyaki) both were fantastic! Unfortunately were out of their musubi but even today I am fiending for more so I will be coming back often since it's close enough by and a delicious meal to look forward to after the workday. read more

Flavors Galore! I was so stoked to check out this food truck and I am so glad I did. This is instantly my new favorite in the area and if they are open will now be my go-to. With tons of protein options from shrimp to pork, chicken, or fish there is a variety of choices. The Kalua Pork tacos were astonishingly good with an amazing mango-cilantro toppings leaving me just wanting more. The food came out very fast and the people working the truck were very friendly and courteous. This is yummy! I've had them a few times. I ordered fish tacos this time, I LOVE fish tacos!!! It was good, needed a lil more sauce and it was a little over cooked, but it was still really good. Your Shrimp Dynamite was...DYNAMITE! The sauce was amazingly full of flavor, and while the shrimp was covered in the sauce it was still delicately crispy. We also got a Spam Musubi which was delicious as well. Your staff was very friendly and our food was delivered to us quickly. The seating area was very clean, which it was a warmer night so we could have enjoyed it more but with a baby, we decided to enjoy our food in our car. read more

We bought the loco moco and the coconut shrimp tacos. The loco moco's patty and gravy were both really good and seasoned well with lots of flavor, the rice soaked in the gravy and was tasty. The mac needed more salt as it didn't have much taste which was a let down. The coconut shrimp tacos were good but definitely need something more to make them good enough to come back for, the topping of pineapple? was really good but it barley came with any which I feel would've made the tacos so much better if there was more of this! Also came with a side of mac which we had to add salt too and it came out good. Overall really good food! Money well spent although, there are touches that would make it better in our option. The coconut shrimp is absolutely perfect. The spicy sauce is amazing! The pineapple salsa has excellent flavor and ties the entire dish together. I'm super picky about Mac salad, and her salad was delicious. We went next door to the cider house to try their flight of ciders and also enjoy our food while also enjoying our pooches company! We ordered Coconut Crusted Shrimp, Island Fish, and Kalua Pork Fries and the flavors were absolutely PHENOMENAL! The fish was melt in your mouth good and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The Kalua Pork Fries were so tasty. We already can't wait to go back and explore more on their menu. read more
