We had a party of 5 and we all enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant tonight. Two of us are Vietnamese and they highly praised the authenticity of the food. The owner was very friendly. She gave us samples to try before we ordered the food. We finished all the yummy dishes we ordered and zero leftover. I love the salad, pho, and spring rolls. Would definitely dine at this restaurant if I come here again.

They forgot to cook & add the chicken to our order

Update: It's been well over a week, and there has been no response from the manager/owner. I'm disappointed that they didn't even try to make this right. Moving to GP in April & will not patronize this very basic establishment again. They believe they can give poor service with no consequences bc there aren't many other options, but in any other city, this type of service, or lack there of, would be unacceptable. Visting GP & was recommended this place. I called ahead of time for my order, arrived 20 mins later, & still had to wait, but that wasn't the worst part. The guys there forgot to add the chicken to our salad & noodles. Drove 20 mins home only to discover their mistake. I called to let them know only to have the gal giggle through the entire conversation. Sadly, I wasn't amused when my bill was over $50 + $10 tip. No return call from the manager/owner with an apology or offer to replace our meals. Needless to say, it was disappointing at best & I won't be returning.

Chicken Pho with grilled chicken. And dipping banh Mi.

One of my favorite places. I come here strictly for the Pho. The food never disappoints and the service is great.

Beef pho was below mid. Lacking flavor and broth was warm not hot. Doesn't have your traditional beef cuts like tendon or brisket.

Staff is friendly and service is quick. The restaurant is fairly small and somewhat easy to miss, but the flavors in their meals are big! Their curry dishes are wonderful - I tried both the green and panang curry. The panang curry I ordered with "medium" spice, which was the perfect amount of heat. If you're out to dine with someone, I also recommend sharing their large side plate of rice, which is $4, but when they say large, they mean LARGE. The bowl they bring you is a monstrosity! Of all the wonderful dishes, especially the variety of Asian cuisines I had while in Medford, I think this one tops the list.

At first there was just the three of us, and another couple. But as the night progressed more and more started coming in.. I got worried for a sec when we didn't see any Asians dining here. But as we were heaving a few started showing up. To me when you see Asians dining at an Asian restaurant then it must be good. All there of us are Asians. But about the food...we were surprised how crispy the pork belly with Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce was. It was our fave dish of the night. The chicken satay was surprisingly moist and not dry like must places. My friends said they had better tofu with noodle dish. I also had better tasting Thai iced tea. But it was still refreshing. Gals were friendly, place was clean nothing fancy. Bathroom was clean enough. I guess their toilet was not strong enough to handle the seat covers. They asked to only flush toilet paper. So I had to throw my seat covers in trash like everyone else did. It was pretty weird if you ask me, but understandable if they get plugged toilets which is no fun. Unless they only have a septic tank. But whatever. So we are in a foodie road trip, and this is not part of the collection of places we're heading to in CA. Just a random place we found via Yelp. Will we come again, probably not since we live two states away. But I sure hope the locals support this place. All in all it was not a bad experience.

I started with the crab puffs, it was a very decent sized order, they were crunchy and not oily at all. The crab filling in the middle was creamy and savory. They were excellent. For my main course, I had the triple crown, which was shrimp, scallops, and pork, with sautéed vegetables. The sauce was amazing, a deep, savory flavor, the veggies were perfectly done, the shrimp were very good, and the scallops were absolutely buttery. The pork was very tender. It came with a good amount of rice, which was tender and perfectly done of course, I tore into it so fast, I forgot to get a picture. That is such a bad habit of mine. To drink, I had a jasmine hot tea, which was also very good. I ended up eating all of the crab puffs, they were so good, and half of the main course ended up being breakfast the next morning. For all of this high-quality food, the price was extremely reasonable. I would stop here again the next time I'm in town. Thank you.

I've worked my way through nearly the entire menu, and there hasn't been a single dish I regretted ordering. My personal favorites are the lettuce cups, Pad Prik, Pad Prik Pao, and the tomato noodle dish (truly phenomenal). If you're in the mood for soup, the rib meat with lemongrass is absolutely unforgettable deeply flavorful and comforting. I highly recommend adding a side of rice or noodles to round it out. Well, it's definitely not Sauce anymore which is sad tbh…read more Other than the dumb new name, the menu is very similar but different. No more kale chips (the best ever btw!), way less sauces to choose from, the fridges are all empty, the sautéed cabbage sucks when it used to have flavor and was cooked well and now is basically raw, I could go on. Btw you're supposed to remove the stems on kale, not serve it to customers w stems! They removed all the lamps and fun wall paint in the bathrooms and looks like a generic boring cold bright light white walls bathroom. ***The chicken is much, much better tho so I'll give them that. I wont be surprised if soon they repaint the walls white too and take down all the wood. It has a very medford conservative energy now with people pretending to be hippies wearing ponchos they just bought etc. So that's awkward. Definitely waaaay different energy.. not inna good way. I appreciate what they offer food wise though with veggies and dairy free desserts so I will definitely return. The music SUCKS now. Sauce used to be such a cool vibe with indie music and even classical and jazz etc. Now it is top 40's pop and country-pop. Just god awful. The drama that came from this revision is very interesting also... something like the owners husband and wife, husband cheated on wife with the now new co-owner who is supposedly also married and the ex-wife has chronic illness and was basically blindsided and then bought out. It's all really messy and gives a bad energy. Probably why it is empty every time we've been since the change... Sauce used to always be packed.. we also would always buy the frozen soups and salads etc in addition to our meals ordered but now spend less bc nothing in fridges to buy! Anyway, I hope they stay open for the food bc not much else like it in the valley but hOm, please don't forget the loyal following of Sauce and completely obliterate its energy. Please dont paint everything white and black. We need color and creativity and community. Not cold pretend hippie energy. Sauce was packed constantly for a reason... don't lose sight of why and why you're always empty now facing closure...
