My dad and I stopped here to grab dinner, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We got the Banh Mi and the Grilled Chicken Salad. The service was amazing! Everyone was friendly and we got our food quickly. The food was so fresh and the chicken was super juicy and flavorful. The tables are kind of narrow, so we found ourselves bumping each other's knees quite a few times while eating. I could see how that would be frustrating especially if you're on the tall side. Also, the bathroom was pretty dirty when I went. I wish they would be more attentive with cleaning it. We will happily return, but will probably do takeout when we do so! read more

Pho broth was legit and the beef was nice; slightly larger bits than the usual super thin round eye steak. There were plenty of bean sprouts already added to the soup along with some basil and chopped jalapeno on the side. The noodles were cut so they were much shorter than traditional pho. I imagine this is the Americanized version making noodles easier to eat. They also provided forks ;-). Besides that, the pho was actually good. This hit the spot. The price was slightly high but the bowl of soup was large with plenty of beef. Yes the tables are sticky and should be wiped clean regularly. read more

I guess I'm spoiled being from San Jose. There are many Vietnamese options there and a whole section of the city named Little Saigon. That being said perhaps I expected too much. I ordered Gui Con ( fresh spring roll) with shrimp. I'm use to having 3 large shrimp (prawn sized?) in my rolls. These shrimp were disappointingly small. Also the roll had maybe shredded cabbage? Something that I also wasn't use to. And then there was the dipping sauce. It was almost a paste in consistency. Not good at all. With my 2 orders of spring roll I also had an iced tea. I asked for a refill and was charged an additional $2. Oh but just a refill NO ICE. it's was a warm day hence the ICED tea. I actually had to ask the young server for more ice. She questioned if I really wanted more ice. I was not happy. Poor quality food. Charges for a refill Acted as if they were inconvenienced by serving me more ice. I left half my food on the table and left. I will not be going back. They have to do better on all fronts. read more

Update: It's been well over a week, and there has been no response from the manager/owner. I'm disappointed that they didn't even try to make this right. Moving to GP in April & will not patronize this very basic establishment again. They believe they can give poor service with no consequences bc there aren't many other options, but in any other city, this type of service, or lack there of, would be unacceptable. Visting GP & was recommended this place. I called ahead of time for my order, arrived 20 mins later, & still had to wait, but that wasn't the worst part. The guys there forgot to add the chicken to our salad & noodles. Drove 20 mins home only to discover their mistake. I called to let them know only to have the gal giggle through the entire conversation. Sadly, I wasn't amused when my bill was over $50 + $10 tip. We came for the pho. The first impression was the tables were not clean. You bus your dishes and it appeared no one had wiped off the tables. I ordered the beef pho, my wife the chicken. The choices are limited. No brisket, flank or soft tendon. Just beef. The side was only one lime section and jalapeños. No basil or soy beans. The pho broth was okay. The noodles were cut making it difficult to scoop up. No chop sticks. Just spoon and fork. My wife's chicken was overcooked. Her broth flavor was okay. Overall, not a great pho experience. read more

The food is excellent however, I ordered the salad roll, it was wrapped in rice paper which was sticky, it was served to me in a brown paper box with no parchment paper or wax paper so when I picked each piece up to eat it well you guessed it the rolls stuck to the box and tore the box which picked up the paper, maybe this business can add wax paper to the bottom of the box read more

Corner cutting central. Pho with beef: Only 7 main menu items (written on a chalk board). No shrimp spring rolls. Pho broth was rich and umami laden. The best part of the meal and I appreciate that sugar was not added... a US pracice in most asian restaurants these days. Traditional Pho is served with a side plate of veggies: bean sprouts, basil, cilantro or dandelion, lime & sliced hot pepper. This place had a tiny side cup of a 1/8th lime wedge and sliced peppers. A small smount of basil strips were in the soup (maybe 2 leaves worth). That's it. Rice noodles were overcooked and mushy. They had also been broken in half prior to cooking. They were so small that you couldn't twirl them. I had to resort to scooping. Beef was ample, tasty and medium tender. $16.50. A bit high IMHO. Oh, no tendon available. Atmosphere was barren, stark and a bit chilly. Uncomfortable utilitarian wooden chairs. read more

What looks to be a converted auto garage, or gas station at one point or another has been turned into a wonderful gem of a restaurant tucked right into the heart of Grants Pass. Who would have thought that a wonderful Pho place was right here. I went with a work friend as we were on our way back from a project in Cole River. As we entered your immediately hit with the smell of fantastic far east scents. We ordered pho each of us and also a Bon Mi sandwich that we split between us. A combination plate would be something that would be an awesome menu item. The food came out quite quickly, easily within less than 10 mins. The Bon Mi was to be expected, with fantastic French bread pickled veggies and this particular Bon Mi with their chicken offering. Then out came the Pho which was a fantastic representation and everything you would want from a good pho place. Full of flavor, with the adders of cilantro and basil. Easily one of the best pho experiences I have had in some time. Almost worth the 2+ hour drive to get it from my work location. OK, maybe not that far, but it certainly is worth the stop. Anytime you find yourself in Grants Pass and a hankering for Pho, you will need to stop in and give this place a try! read more

The ingredients were gross congealed mass--had to ask for napkins and were given paper napkins. Food was served on paper plates. The chicken was a curried chicken which was good, but not what I was expecting nor was it advertised as such. We both thought the beef was much better. The bread was delicious, but both sandwiches were missing/needing some pickled daikon radishes. I'd eat it again as it's a good sandwich.
