I reached out recently when one of those heaters failed, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Paul, the technician, did an incredible job - he was fighting for my warranty and had the new replacement swapped out in no time. Sheri went above and beyond as well; she actually came out personally on site to meet with the Jandy representatives to prove the unit needed to be completely replaced. I have been trying to get service from this company for over a year. Every time I try and get someone to reply to me they are always rude and defensive. I need someone to clean my pool and to change out my panel and to clean my filter. For some reason they can't clean a filter and I actually needed a weekly service for pool cleaning but the person in chat cut me off based on a past chat said we don't do a one time clean I needed a weekly. As well as my panel changed out. They literally missed out on a big payout because of being unprofessional. We did arrange for them to come out once we was given how much it would cost they never showed up and we had to hire someone else. Don't use this service is you have Hayward equipment! There were too many little issues to list but basically every time we had a problem it would be referred to this same boss lady and she would always defer blame from her employees and try to blame our equipment. Well if the equipment is not broken it's not the equipment, it's poor training and your people not knowing how to work Hayward equipment. The last straw was 2 weeks in a row, 1st week employee leaves and pool is turned off. After looking into it we found out he tripped the sub panel breaker, don't ask me how because it has never happened before or since. Second they turned off the in floor cleaner some how and I was told it was an equipment issue by same boss lady (not the owner) because she does not know Hayward. And I had to figure out how to turn it back on with the owner's manual. Last straw is I got my filter cleaned and the lazy guy used my nozzle on shower setting when all the rest used a wand to clean it. At that point I did not bother to complain because guess who is going to get that complaint? I'm sure lots of customers are happy with them if you have Jandy or any equipment they sale and also they did keep the water looking good which is why they get 2 stars but when you have to basically call them every week for little issues I would rather give my business to a pool service that knows my type of equipment. read more

Pit Stop Pools is now my first choice for maintenance, equipment replacement and parts for my pool and I'll tell you why you should call them first. I had an emergency and called them up. Pit Stop was quick to show up, check out my complaints and that same evening offered several solutions after they took the time to research the pool equipment issue. Not only did this please me to know I did have options, they saved me money by taking a little time to put more thought into what could be done. I know if I had called any other company, I would have ended up buying a new pump! Due to the fantastic work they did, my original 16 year old filter cartridge broke loose! I think because my main pump was working effectively after a part was replaced. I had known I needed a filter cartridge due to the size of my pool. They took this request very seriously and the next day I had a new filter installed. I've never been asked if I wanted to keep a part or sell it off from any company before. They did mention someone who was in need of a filter and I offered my old one up. That speaks volumes! In one week I have called them twice. Pit Stop Pools takes their business seriously and goes up, over and beyond for consumers with pools. They are completely professional, personable and very understanding. They will be my first call when I need them. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this company. No one wants to have to call for service, but when you need them, they will be there. We recently switched to Pit Stop Pool for our monthly maintenance and are very pleased with their service! We had issues with our automated Pentair system, causing our pumps to run 24/7. Pit Stop Pool replaced our mother board along with the relays in no time. They showed up the very next morning and were quick to respond (we live in the Heights).
