Love this bar, it has valet and self parking next to it, delicious drinks, cocktails and food. Love the nachos with meat, big portions and generous with guac, salsa and sour cream. The frozen house margaritas are perfect to enjoy in their indoor or outdoor seating and I personally love the music they play which is a mix of reggaeton and rnb hip hop. They also have a bunch of TVs showing all the sports and they'll put on anything u ask them. I walked in one Sunday afternoon to have a cold drink. The service and the happy hour prices were top rated.

My experience here was pretty bad in the beginning. My party arrived at 6, and we were told it was an hour wait. We put our name on the list, however an hour later, we were still waiting. The hostess skipped over us and was calling several other parties. Her reasoning was the table that could accommodate us was still occupied. An additional 30 minutes later, we were still waiting outside. No one had come to update us. When we finally got inside, we saw that there were two women sitting at a table big enough for 10. That was the table they kept saying was unavailable. That didn't sit well with us, especially since they tried to seat us at a much smaller table which was very uncomfortable. Margaritas were $5 and pretty good. Mine weren't too strong, but a couple friends had extra shots added to theirs, which packed a strong punch. Almost all the tacos on their menu are $1 on Tuesdays, though they will be smaller than the standard size. They were solid though! Definitely worth the $1. Our server was professional and made sure all our needs were met. Overall the experience started of terribly, but it ended decently. The attitude from the manager when we voiced our complaints was very unsavory, so I still have to give two stars. I'll give this place another try at some point, but right now I'm not pressed to go back. read more

I've been to pistoleros a few times for their taco Tuesday but this was my first time coming on a Sunday. They offer valet parking or you can try and find street parking but be cautious of the signs as they as they advise what times you are allowed to park. I came with my friend around 6PM and there was plenty of seating on the patio and also a few options inside. They had a DJ playing inside which you could also hear from the patio and they had televisions in case you wanted to watch any games. They had a happy hour menu which had pitchers of mimosas from 12-4 and also half priced appetizers and drinks from 4-8. We started with regular chips and queso but had to send it back because the queso was lukewarm. I usually love their chips and queso but my friend wasn't a fan of it. We ended up getting the nachos that were on the happy hour menu for $6 but if you want to add meat to it it's an additional $3. We also added the melted queso as opposed to shredded cheese which was also another $3. Lol seems like the happy hour meals are the basic options and you eventually have to pay extra for all the fixings but I was okay with it because our nachos were off the chain! We had already eaten earlier so that's all we had to eat. We ordered the frozen margaritas which were also pretty good but I'm not sure that I felt as tipsy as I wanted to after having two of them so for me they weren't the strongest Overall. it was a nice chill spot to come to on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends. Side note:the tacos on Tuesday's are now $1.50 and $2.00 for shrimp (haven't been here in a while so maybe this price has been like this). From what I remember of the tacos, they were pretty small and pretty standard. So if you order beef, it came with a little beef and lettuce but they are such a good deal and taste pretty good that you can't beat it. read more

Literally just had the worst experience at this place. I came in to have a margarita with my friends for my birthday. We are noticeably all above 30 years of age. My husband didn't have an ID so he wasn't going to get a drink. The waitress had an attitude from the moment we sat down. She purposely did not speak to myself or my two other friends and only spoke to the one white girl at the table. I ordered a watermelon margarita and she never acknowledged me at all. She brought waters and kept asking the only white person at the table who wasn't drinking what we were going to do. She then proceeded to come tell us we needed to leave because my husband did not have a physical ID. The only white person at the table became visibly upset and started pacing the restaurant because she was so uncomfortable that she believed what happened was racism. I preface this to say... It's a cool little casual spot with a good sized patio and somewhat cramped dining room, if you get there too late you may have to stand. Also the parking lot is mandatory $5 valet but I was able to find street parking one block over. I'd recommend valet cause it's not a pleasant walk over, even though it's short. The happy hour specials are REALLY cheap, my friends and I got $4 margaritas and sangrias & both were pretty good but a little too sweet for me and I feel like they were kind of weak. I'd probably get a double next time. The food specials were cheap as heck, $6 appetizers and $1.50 tacos on Tuesday but the tacos looked and tasted like $1.50, they were so tiny, bland and served without sauce. The appetizers were great though, the stuffed jalepenos and nachos were both amazing, especially for $6. Overall it's a really cheap place with a good vibe. I had two strawberry margaritas and, after I tried the peach, wished I had gotten all peach instead lol. I ordered some tamales off of their happy hour menu as well and, not knowing what to expect, was pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were. With each HH tamale order, you receive 3 tamales which you can order in pork, chicken, or mixed. I placed an order for 2 pork and 1 chicken and enjoyed them both. My favorite of the two was the pork. Pistolero's was just another place to drink, get drunk, or be merry depending on your Halloween drinking needs and their fun costume contests they had going on. For the record if you ever need to sober up they have a wide variety of jarritos and Topo Chico which many of us used, when drinking to oblivion wasn't an option. And even with that crowd they were always friendly! Now on to the food. I was genuinely impressed. My husband and I ordered the 10 taco plate, because of money and potential of sharing tacos, which meant we were awesome friends. My favorite tacos that night were the barbacoa and fish tacos. They had a decent veggie taco that was worth tasting for those adventurous people and those who are against eating tasty barbacoa tacos, because it's not veggie. Though trust me, you are missing out. The service was speedy, the drink specials were worth ordering over and over again, but I can't assure you if the happy hour specials were a regular thing or a happy coincidence on Halloween weekend. This is a nice place to visit on crowded busy nights and regular days when you want an interesting plate. I'd go back here if I was in the area.
