Nice Japanese-Peruvian spot with good food overall. I really appreciated that they customized an avocado cucumber roll for me--it's basically like a California roll without the crab, and it was perfect. Service is friendly, but the wait for entrées can still be quite long. Also, they only serve corn nuts while you wait, which felt a bit underwhelming. Still, a solid place with thoughtful touches.

The restaurant is beautiful. Staff is super friendly. Food was just okay. While the menu had a decent selection of food and drinks nothing we had tasting out of this world amazing. Everything was extremely overpriced. The bacon presentation was nice but definitely was not worth the price. We also werent crazy for the scallops dish. At almost $4 a piece it was definitely not worth it. We ordered the sushi platter. It was $85 and while it was good. It was not worth it. There was only 3 different fish. All the fish was really fresh and delicious but for that price we expected more variety. I did love the sushi sandwiches and would ordered that alone if it was an option. Overall it was a decent meal and great atmosphere with the live music but definitely not something to go to often. Maybe just special occasions.

The ambience was a feel of Manhattan right here in Centereach. The service was top-notch. Hardly waited for anything very attentive to us. The food was very good. I recommend the Lomo Saltado. The Surf and Turf was overcooked but the Management promptly took care of this and ordered us around the drinks for the table as well as a generous discount off the bill. Very impressed. Overall, I would attend this establishment again the House music played the whole evening a real nice spin on things. 4.75

This place is a total vibe. Cool ambiance, good music, nice little lounge area up front by the bar. This was my first time trying Peruvian food which is very heavy on the seafood and I'm new to trying most types of seafood so I feel like this was a good opportunity to experiment. My bf and I split the scallop app and the octopus app-the tiraditos de pulpo-I didn't like that one at all but my friend had gotten the grilled octopus and that was much better. The scallops were very good, it was kind of like a ceviche in a clam shell. For the entree, I went with the haucatey salmon which came with mashed yuca. It was soo good I ate the whole thing! There were a lot of flavors going on in all the dishes. For drinks I went the improve whiskey and the bourbon morado-the morado was much better. I also sampled my sisters wasabi margarita-def an acquired taste but bad. Our server was very friendly. I would come again.

Good service, beautiful interior. Ceviche was so good! Looks like there are more sushi dishes I have to try. Bartenders were so sweet and accommodating.

We went in a bit hesitant after reading the menu but we were unexpectedly delighted by everything we ordered. We spend the drive home talking about what we are going to order next time. Definitely a must try, great addition to the area. We will be back, again and again...

We stopped by for an early dinner on a Saturday. The bar was widely available, but quickly filled up as the sun went down. We had a great time, David the bartender took care of us really well. We will definitely be back! The decor is beautiful! The drinks, apps, and food were all on point! We started with the Hotate a la Chalaca, which are beautifully plated scallops. They were amazing, reminded me of a plate down in Miami. For the entree, I did the Tri-color Ceviche, it was really good but it was very similar to my app, next time I'll choose differently. My only tiny complaint, the amount charged and what was provided was a little on the small side, for the sweet potato, I was given two very small cubes, at least try to fill me up that way, but I digress. My husband ordered the bistec a lo Pobre, it all came out very well. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. To finish off the night, I ordered the espresso martini. They didn't have the Pisco matcha cake, maybe next time.

Such a nice place. The people were friendly. The food was delicious too. We asked for Jalea and Lomo Saltado. The Jalea was so crispy and nice. The Lomo Saltado was good too. The star of the night was the spicy green sauce. We had to ask for some more to take home they have very good music too

I just love this new place in my neighborhood. The food is great and the vibe very cool. They did an amazing job with the decor. Like any new place they need to work out the kinks, but I think I'll be a regular at this place.

Located in a strip mall the place may be small in square footage but big on ambiance. We arrived about 6pm and were lucky enough to score a two seat table. It was almost filled to capacity with lots of diners enjoying their meals. With great Latin music playing and laid back vibe, I was looking forward to a great meal. John our server was polite and efficient. We started off with traditional Peruvian golden lager, Cusquena. Crisp and delicious! Two ceviche appetizers and two steak entrees. We're ceviche lovers and throughly enjoyed those dishes. The Honey enjoyed his Lomo Saltado. The traditional Peruvian stir fry dish. Strips of beef sirloin, red peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with French fries and white rice. My Tacu Tacu Steak with rice and beans was a hit, and miss. The steak was tough and the rice and beans, really "starchy". It's hard to explain they tasted heavy and sticky. The portions are generous so I had leftovers for home. Surprisingly, the dish tasted better the next day. The menu highlights their Happy Hour and Wine Down Wednesdays. We're looking forward to returning for one or both :) of those! For some warm vibes, good service and fresh food this place is worth a visit. Thank me later.....

Amazing! Came here for my mom's birthday. We arrived at 7pm and parked in the parking lot next to…read morethe library in the back. There were signs saying there was metered parking. But the metered parking machine wasn't working. A local told us we didn't have to pay. We walked inside and was greeted by a friendly server. The table was already set for us, and she brought out menus for us. They gave us water in plastic cups. (I think this restaurant is mostly popular for its take out service more than its dine in service. While there was only 3 other tables seated besides us, their counter was overflowing with takeout orders. We ordered the Pollo a La Brasa, choritos a la chalaca, choclo con queso fresco, chicha morado, frijoles, and arroz amarillo. They took our order and gave us puffed corn, and some kind of cream salsa verde sauce for the table. The chicha morado was good, sweet and slightly spiced from the cinnamon it was refreshing, light and sweet. First came the mussels, they were topped with a salsa, lime juice and corn. They were overcooked and dry. I don't think people normally order the mussels, so I don't think the chef knew how to prepare it properly. Then came the rice and the roast chicken. The yellow rice was so flavorful, fluffy, and good. The roast chicken was amazing. Very flavorful, and the meat fell right off the bones. Then came the beans, and corn appetizer. The corn appetizer was kind of weird. It was just slightly warm corn with small logs of cheese on the side. I was expecting like a roasted corn with fresh cheese crumbled on top with spices. There was very enthusiastic Latino music playing from the TV the whole time. The whole place felt fun and inviting. It was pretty casual, and the waitresses were friendly and kind. They were decorated for Halloween with decorations, and orange lights lighting up the walls. I think next time we'll just stick to the chicken, beans, and rice. They were very nice in letting us being our own birthday cake as well. They gave us small plates, and forks and knives. They gave us plastic utensils. I guess they didn't have small dessert forks. Overall wonderful experience. Just don't order something atypical I guess.

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.
