We went to the Patchogue location. There's another one in Deer Park. Service was very attentive! Waiter described the dishes we asked about and helped us with our Spanish too. Food was delicious. Got sauces on the side.. Served quickly. Hole in the wall place. Atmosphere and decor was ok. Gina had 1/2 chicken with tostones and yucca fries. I had the tallarin con camarones. We shared tres Leche cake for dessert. Support small businesses.

What a bang for your buck! As soon as you enter, you can tell the meal is about to be yummy. The smells of deliciousness smacks you before you open the doors, the taste is as good as the scent. My one plate of paella could easily fill three, for very good price. My ceviche was fresh and leaves you wanting more. Quick and courteous service even on a busy Saturday night.

If you are looking for real deal peruvian food.. this is the place! The service is amazing, the music and the atmosphere of the restaurant just make the whole dining experience. I highly recommend the whole chicken! And the green sauce was perfect!

Popped hominy. A little like large tasty corn kernels.

I was in the area on a holiday Monday and found myself being led by my nose across Main Street to a converted diner. The sign on top said "Steak and Seafood," but it was definitely a barbecued meat aroma that was bathing my senses. I felt like a cartoon character, you know the scenario in which some delicious smoke forms the image of a hand gesturing, 'Follow me...' And let me tell you, I'm so glad it found me. Los Andes has a big Grand Opening sign on its front, but the perfection of menu, food and service would lead one to believe that experience isn't lacking here. So many inviting choices, and I opted for a plate of 1/2 rotisserie chicken, over a bed of crisp fried potatoes with a salad. The chicken was perfectly cooked, large moist chunks of white meat pulling away via my fork, with delicious skin. And my delight of great sauces was just inside of heaven here: they start you off with a small bowl of popped hominy to munch on, served with a mismatched creamy dill sauce that is yummy and fiery, with hot peppers. What a fantastic concoction, and not too hard on your taste buds if you don't dip too deep. Then, with the chicken and salad, there were two dressings. The first was a little thin and nothing to write Yelp about, but the second was a buttermilk based sauce that was aces. They put ketchup and packets of mayo on the table for this ugly American, but I left them alone, right where they were placed. The decor is still reminiscent of the diner from its previous incarnation, but clean and the authentic Peruvian music made for an excellent dining experience. Service is top notch, polite and attentive. Just wish I lived closer, but I will surely return.

Beef with shrimp and Mushrooms ( lomo Los Andes.) Absolutely delicious. Top notch ingredients and cooked to perfection.

I've been here a couple of times. In both instances the food was great, especially considering the price. Good quality for a fair price. The service was also very good on my first trip. Our server seemed invested in the business and was genuinely eager to ensure our meal was a good experience. I am rating 4 stars. Try the seafood with the special sauce. Also the beef heart appetizer... I've since been back a few more times.... Food is always awesome! Hidden gem.

The food was really good, the server was attentive even though it was busy, but they could spruce up the place a bit

This is such a cute and anthemic Peruvian restaurant. I love their seafood dishes and their sangria was so good. The waiters were very nice and they seem to be on top of the cleanliness of the restaurant.

From the outside this place doesn't look like much I found it on Yelp after searching for restaurants in the area, the inside looks like a little dive diner. we ordered a variety of stuff and everything was amazing. The ceviche is a must have... service was great and everyone is super friendly. Give them a try you won't be disappointed

But the metered parking machine wasn't working. A local told us we didn't have to pay. We walked inside and was greeted by a friendly server. The table was already set for us, and she brought out menus for us. They gave us water in plastic cups. (I think this restaurant is mostly popular for its take out service more than its dine in service. While there was only 3 other tables seated besides us, their counter was overflowing with takeout orders. We ordered the Pollo a La Brasa, choritos a la chalaca, choclo con queso fresco, chicha morado, frijoles, and arroz amarillo. They took our order and gave us puffed corn, and some kind of cream salsa verde sauce for the table. The chicha morado was good, sweet and slightly spiced from the cinnamon it was refreshing, light and sweet. First came the mussels, they were topped with a salsa, lime juice and corn. They were overcooked and dry. I don't think people normally order the mussels, so I don't think the chef knew how to prepare it properly. Then came the rice and the roast chicken. The yellow rice was so flavorful, fluffy, and good. The roast chicken was amazing. Very flavorful, and the meat fell right off the bones. Then came the beans, and corn appetizer. The corn appetizer was kind of weird. It was just slightly warm corn with small logs of cheese on the side. I was expecting like a roasted corn with fresh cheese crumbled on top with spices. There was very enthusiastic Latino music playing from the TV the whole time. The whole place felt fun and inviting. It was pretty casual, and the waitresses were friendly and kind. They were decorated for Halloween with decorations, and orange lights lighting up the walls. I think next time we'll just stick to the chicken, beans, and rice. They were very nice in letting us being our own birthday cake as well. They gave us small plates, and forks and knives. They gave us plastic utensils. I guess they didn't have small dessert forks. Overall wonderful experience. Just don't order something atypical I guess.

John our server was polite and efficient. We started off with traditional Peruvian golden lager, Cusquena. Crisp and delicious! Two ceviche appetizers and two steak entrees. We're ceviche lovers and throughly enjoyed those dishes. The Honey enjoyed his Lomo Saltado. The traditional Peruvian stir fry dish. Strips of beef sirloin, red peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with French fries and white rice. My Tacu Tacu Steak with rice and beans was a hit, and miss. The steak was tough and the rice and beans, really "starchy". It's hard to explain they tasted heavy and sticky. The portions are generous so I had leftovers for home. Surprisingly, the dish tasted better the next day. The menu highlights their Happy Hour and Wine Down Wednesdays. We're looking forward to returning for one or both :) of those! For some warm vibes, good service and fresh food this place is worth a visit. Thank me later.....

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.
