Costa Peru has been bookmarked in my Yelp list for a while, and on my birthday, my mom asked where I wanted to go for dinner. Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu. read more

Absolutely delicious, and definitely my new favorite place here! Tried the spiked chicha morada (homemade purple corn juice?!, w vodka), and monster chufa , w rotisserie chicken. I love this bc it seems like the Peruvian version of Korean Army Stew . Really delicious fried rice/fries - very crispy/not oily; really perfectly roasted/seasoned roast chicken! My friend and I visited this restaurant and had no complaints, really! Cute little restaurant in Milford, super clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. I had the tallarin verde con pollo and my friend had the same but with steak. We both enjoyed our meals. The verde sauce was super saucy, which I loved. I added the green aji sauce to my chicken for even more flavor. Great prices. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit when in the area again! read more

We ordered takeout from here and honestly, everything was pretty good. The food was well packaged, and the kitchen staff were very nice at pick up, they even gave us a bunch of sauces which I really enjoyed. However, I'm only docking a star because some of the food was a bit over cooked. The calamari while remaining crispy, was fried to bits and the octopus rings were really thin. The fried plantains were good, but maybe a little bit green because they weren't as sweet or moist as I would expect. Other than that, I did enjoy my meal. We got the ronda marina which came with seafood rice, calamari, some mussels, and ceviche. I thought it was going to come with causa and it didn't which was very disappointing. I don't want to dock too many stars though because I'm sure it was an honest mistake. I would try this restuarant again, but in person might yield a better experience. read more

We were looking for a place to have lunch and we wanted something different. I am glad we stopped here. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the service was excellent. For starters we had the pork tamale and it was great. I had the ceviche mixto which was so good. The ceviche was so fresh and tasted good. My girlfriend had the fried red snapper and she loved it. The food was really good. The music ambiance was also nice. There seemed to be only one waitress last night so that might've attributed to the delay in bringing the check at the end and forgetting to refill waters. But other than that, the food came out on a good pace and was really good. We also had the chicken soup. Was so good asked for some to go. This is definitely on the higher quality Peruvian food that you will come across. We shared a chupe de Camarones which was a shrimp chowder with a poached egg on top and it had very deep flavors and had a little rice and potatoes in it and it was a great soup. I had the Lomo Saltado which overall was very good, with my only personal opinion that the sauce was slightly thick for my preference, however overall it was very good. My wife got the camarones al Ajillo and she really liked the meal and substituted tostones for Yuma which she said was fresh and it was definitely fried in clean oil. Came on a Saturday night for a date night had a papa a la huancaina as a appetizer was tasty and saucy could have used some bread to eat up all that delicious sauce. We had to try this New Restaurant since we visted Lima last year. Our waitress was excellent and showed us the popular dishes. To start. The Chicha Morada drink was perfect. The calamares Fritos on top of yucca came out hot and crispy. The entres were delicious. Arroz con mariscos and the soup Parihuela both hit the spot with amazing flavors.
