They assisted me with my service request faster than anyone around the area. Great service that was done on a timely manner, thank you Sammi and Brian. Value was really good and they were very professional at all times. read more

Absolutely awesome service. Our sewer line needed an inspection to prepare for the sale of our home. Our tech, maybe Ken (I am forgetting names) explained the entire service and what to expect. He was on time, gracious and answered all questions. read more

I had a great experience working with Sammi. The service he provided was outstanding, and he shared a lot of valuable knowledge and information throughout the sewer inspection process. I truly appreciate his professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to explain everything clearly. I am very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend his services. read more

Brain is one of the most friendly people I've ever worked with. He is very detailed and spent a great deal of time on our project. The price was much lower than other companies that really didn't do as good a job has he did. If you need your sewer lines inspected, and advice about how to repair it, I don't think you can do better than Brian and PipeCamInc. read more

Showed up on time, was thorough, and explained everything after the inspection was completed. Received the reports in a timely manner and very communitive. read more

Have used PipeCam twice on our property over the years. Class organization! From friendly responsiveness of Sammi and skill, insight, honesty of David. Most recently had another great experience with them. Brian came to our property, on time, and helped us diagnose the cause of an identified problem and then solved it on the same visit. Save us a great deal of time and money. Highly recommend. read more

EVOLVE Real Estate loves Brian at Pipecam! He is our go-to inspector because he truly knows what he's doing and it able to articulate it to our clients when they have questions. I trust him over other inspectors in the area when we have to get a second opinion. read more

Pipe Cam did a sewer inspection for us while we were in contract for our home, and then did the recommended cleanout and repair once we closed. Their service throughout was prompt, professional, and friendly. They explained everything very clearly and I feel confident in their work. If I ever need sewer work in future I will definitely use them again. read more

Pipecam is always great to work with! Prompt, professional and do the job right the first time! They've even corrected work others messed up. Whenever I need a sewer lateral inspection or repair they are the first ones I call and recommend! read more

Brian and the Pipe Cam crew are very professional and provide excellent service. We are repeat customers.

These guys are great! Also the video report URL is hilarious. Really nice and easy to work with. Thank you!

I couldn't recommend Pipecam more. We used them for our sewer lateral inspection during the purchase of our house and they were very thorough. Dan spoke with me multiple times over the phone explaining the inspection outcome and their recommendations. Dan was very friendly, helpful and never was pushy about us accepting their proposal for recommended work. We put the sewer line issues on the back burner for a few months and realized we needed to fix the problems sooner rather than later as Dan had earlier recommended. We had gotten a quote from a brand name competitor who wanted to charge us the same amount as pipecam - yet do a small fraction of the work, plus some unnecessary stuff too. It also seemed like Roto rooter didn't know anything about Livermore specific info. that was pertinent to the repairs. Roto rooter also only said it would be a half day repair! Pipecam on the other hand did the repairs over 3 days (so they could do it right) and got the work permitted and inspected by the city. Dan and Brian squeezed us in to their tight schedule before Christmas and did a fantastic job, working in the rain and at times, at night. Our job was more involved and difficult than they anticipated but they never tried to charge us more. I definitely recommend using Pipecam for your sewer lateral inspections and repairs. They have serious integrity and work ethic, plus Dan is super knowledgeable and knows how to do the job right. read more

Sammi promptly responded to our request for an appointment, which was made for a date and time a few days later. Brian arrived exactly on time; not 5 or 10 minutes late. He went over the scope of work patiently and answered every question I had. And the final report was clear and concise, and received when promised. I would recommend PipeCam Inc to anyone. read more

The pipe cam team has been nothing short of superb! They always accommodate our schedule when we need a sewer line inspection and are efficient with repairs when needed. We have used pipe cam for many many years and are always happy with their service. read more

Pipecam is AWESOME! I am a real estate Broker and I was selling a home in Castro Valley. Castro Valley homes now require a Cert for the sewer. I called Pipecam AFTER I was told by another sewer lateral company that it would be $1,255 for the Cert if everything looked fine and that we needed a Pressure test. This was all misinformation. Castro Valley does not require a pressure test I found out from Pipecam. PIPECAM gave me a quote which was a third of the price I was quoted for the Cert. But it gets even better! Pamela at PIPECAM looked up the property permits and saw that this property was already Certified and sent me a copy of the paperwork. So no Cert or inspection was required at all. PIPECAM is an honest company. They do not try to charge clients for services that are not needed. If you need any services or certs for sewer only call PIPECAM. read more

Needed a repair on sewer lines. Bryan did a great job. Walked me through everything. Thanks

Big thank you to the whole team. Pamela & Cecily maintained clear communication through the entire process and picked up the phone every single time I called for questions or confirmation. Jim showed up early and went above & beyond in explaining how a sewage system works and what to look for. He also had me cracking up the entire time; I had a fantastic experience with PipeCam! read more

We reached out to PipeCam to complete an inspection for our new home. Unfortunately, the company stated that the inspection could not be fully completed. We were relying in PipeCam to provide a full scope report on the status of the house, and getting an incomplete inspection was very disappointing (specially after paying full price). We were not satisfied with the work perform for the following reasons: 1) Incomplete report, 2) Unprofessionalism Emails, when we asked Pamela for suggestions, she suggested we wanted to do illegal work (extremely rude), 3) Finally, they were emailing us multiple times charging us even before completing the work. We had to hire a new company and they were able to complete the inspection FULLY. If you need a reliable inspection, do not use Pipe Cam, they will charge you upfront and then tell you they can't complete anything. read more

I highly recommend Jim and Pamela over at pipe cam!!! I had just purchased an older home, not in the best shape and the sewer lateral was in very bad shape, but Jim was able to service and provide another year of operation... that's just the quality of work kind of shop they run... being a family owned business and taking pride in work is what they are about. Above that, because they are a class act, the day they returned to perform service, my mother had passed away, so to say the least it was not the best day.. a week later I get a package and nothing out or ordinary but wait, it was because it a package from Pamela, Jim and family sending condolences... just a real class act!!! See you guys next year for service and maintenance!! read more

Jim squeezed in a home sewer line inspection on a Sunday so we could make an informed decision before making a purchase. He was very through and patient in explaining several issues he found. BIG SHOUT OUT to Pipe Cam. We needed a sewer inspection before a large landscape project. Brian came out within 2 days explain my sewer was old, but not in need of immediate replacement. We decide to go ahead with the trenchless replacement anyway . The team who did the job were very professional and amazingly hard working. My wife and I would like to publicly Thank Daniel, Brian and the whole team for their professionalism, expertise and great communication through this whole process. read more

Fantastic company - really just THE BEST. Why do I say this? Welllllll.... Over the course of trying to sell our house, the buyer's agent called in a friend who was a "plumber". This "plumber" rolled up in his minivan with antequated equipment, ran a crappy (literally - ha!) camera down our sewer line, and announced that it was in complete disrepair and we needed to pay $10K to fix it. What? NO. I had JUST had a plumber come out who told me annual maintenance would be required (annual snaking) but the pipe itself was in fine condition. My agent called Jim and Pipe Cam Inc, and they came out to do an additional sewer line survey. And guess what? Pipe Cam Inc ran the camera, identified some fine roots growing into the pipe joints (normal), searched for cracks and collapses (none), cleaned the pipe, and re-ran the camera so everyone could see the pipe again. IT WAS FINE. No repairs needed, just annual snaking. I hate to sound cheesy, but Pipe Came Inc really saved the day - and the real estate transaction. I'll be calling them if our new house has sewer line issues! read more

So, I found Pipecam through Yelp. His ratings were off the chart. It helped even further that he is also a general contractor and that he is ex-navy! Jim has a great sense of humor and is a great people person. He came in and evaluated our situation. We have a terrible smell coming from one of our bathrooms. From our discussions and review with him, so far as we can tell, it is NOT a plumbing issue. He walked us through several different possible scenarios through a systematic process of elimination (bad pun!). He spent a good 40 minutes with us helping us try to narrow down other possible culprits. Bottom line is, we think there some attic critter might have died in one of the heating/air conditioning vents. Tomorrow, Roger will head to the attic to evaluate the situation and we have our local pest control company coming out on Monday. He left with a smile on his face without handing us a bill. We will definately call Pipe Cam again if plumbing services are needed. read more

About 5 years ago Pipecam was recommended to us by a good friend who is an expert home builder (and who only recommends the best). Since then we have used Pipecam for sewer inspections on two homes. Jim and Pamela are genuine experts in their business - I wouldn't use anyone else! They are extremely knowledgeable, thorough, no-nonsense, and honest. They are also extremely helpful. Pamela has gone way out of her way to help me deal with a sewage overflow that occurred recently in my relative's home in another city. I am a tough customer, and I have been nothing but pleased with Pipecam - they are the best of the best! read more

Jim from Pipecam was professional and explained carefully what we were seeing as the camera was directed down out sewer line. He also provided useful advise for caring for the line to keep it working going forward. The rate was appropriate and he did not try to convince us we needed to do any unnecessary work. We will definitely work with Pipecam again in the future. read more

I found Pipe Cam through Yelp, and I'm so glad that I called them. First of all I did not actually use Pipe Cam to do the sewer lateral replacement. when I called she knows I'm not using them (actually she suggested that I go to someone else) but she still pulled up my house on the Internet and patiently provided me a lot of useful information. I would highly recommend you to give them a call first if your house in nearby! read more

I can't begin to tell you how thorough Bill was. He was a 100 times better than the last company I used for a sewer lateral inspection. Pipe Cam will be my to go company from now on. Expect excellence, fair price, and a great sense of humor. Thank you Bill! read more

First time with Pipe Cam. A young guy named Walter arrived friendly and on time. After 10 minutes, he figured out the problem with our clogged laundry room drain downstairs and got to work. Meanwhile, he kindly tossed me a pair of his plumber gloves so that I could cleanup the nasty sewage that the drain overflow had caused. Within an hour, he completed the job. Nice guy, funny, professional, competent. Thanks Pipe Cam! read more

Professional! That summarizes my recent experience with this company! Jim, the inspector who came to the home my husband and I are in purchase contract for, did an amazingly thorough job in not only scoping the original 1948 100 foot terra cotta sewer lateral line with a quality camera, but explaining visual findings at every pipe joint. What was so appreciated is that he spoke in everyday terminology, helping me clearly understand the facts as we were seeing them, from cracks to breaks to literally a hole in the pipe. Even though the for-sale-by-owner seller said the line was just scoped, Pipecam was able to clearly show tree roots and debris in the line, in some places as much as 80% blockage! The facts spoke for themselves. Jim gave me honest feedback through his excellent communication skills, sheer honesty and genuine integrity; that's a rare combination to find and gratefully refreshing. He's friendly too, with a great sense of humor, so an added bonus! Better yet, Pamela in his office was as equally helpful; very open and customer-oriented. My husband and I appreciated how quick Pipecam produced a very detailed report, complete with multiple photos and a link so we could review the actual camera scope. Thanks Pipecam team for being who you are; you not only excel at your work, you are honest and clearly care about doing the right thing. Thanks for being true professionals! read more

So, I'm selling the house and buying another. Had a sewer preinspection from a company the realtor recommend. They want $6k to replace the line. Got a 2nd opinion, they want $7k. Called pipecam, got Jim here. He said the line is perfectly serviceable, did a root cut and treatment and guarantees it for a year. Just saved thousands and SHOULD HAVE JUST CALLED PIPECAM THE FIRST TIME. Hear me now, believe me later. read more

Never sent us a quote They came highly recommended, but we waiting over a week just for them to come look at the job and produce a quote. We already had two quotes and wanted this to be our third deciding factor. We then waited over another week for the quote.....that never came. Office stated they were sorry and it was coming....then never heard from them again. We lost almost 3 weeks on waiting time and still ending up going with one of the two quotes we had 3 weeks prior. Frustrating and inconvenient. I root for small family businesses, since I was raised working in one as well. But it would be nice if they just outright said they didn't have the capacity to accommodate us. I was just really surprised since they knew we had been waiting and my yard is a mess, with a hug hole in my backyard with little toddlers running around. Sadly I wouldn't not recommend them. read more

Our realtor recommended Jim and his team at Pipe Cam to do an inspection on our now-home. They came out quickly, offered a quote that was reasonable, and after closing, we set up an appointment. Scheduling was quick and easy. Pamela is so wonderful to work with. She is responsive and professional. The narrated video by Jim and his team helped us see exactly what work was completed and we are so pleased with everything. We highly recommend Pipe Cam. read more

If I could only rate the guys who actually did the work I'd give them a 5 star rating.. But sadly those running the business would only get 1/2 a star if that was an option. I was told by Pamela that the work that needed to be done at my home would be no problem. That in fact the work would begin on a specific date but didn't actually start until days after that agreed upon start date.. This job took 23 days to complete. That's right, 23 days of not showering, washing or using my toilets & let's not forget two gaping holes in my front yard. And when my drain for the washer didn't function properly, after the job was complete, I was told it wasn't due to their work and that I should be grateful that they went above and beyond what was agreed upon in my contract. read more

Jim Brooks from Pipecam makes sewer lateral inspections fun. He showed up promptly to our inspection appointment and worked quickly and efficiently. We were not able to locate the sewer clean out and Jim came along and found it right away. He has a positive can-do attitude. He explained the process as he went along as if we were touring the wilderness. He communicated well with the sellers, buyers and listing agent which added value to the real estate transaction. My experience with him was in stark contrast to the experience I had with a previous company. Jim is my go-to guy. I highly recommend him. read more

Pipe Cam - Plumbing Near Me - Livermore, California

As a Realtor is very important to work with companies that you can trust. Pipe Cam is the best in the work they do and the customer service. I don't call other company when I need the sewer lateral inspected. I highly recommend Pipe Cam. read more

Think back, when was the last time you felt good about handing your money over to a contractor? Well that's exactly how I felt after giving Pipe Cam my business. I'm in the process of buying my first house. The home inspection identified that there was a problem with the drains from the kitchen and the laundry area. My realtor suggested having Pipe Cam look at the sewers to insure that I wasn't in for a nasty surprise. At first it looked as if we were going to have to go with a different company, because Pipe Cam was getting their camera repair. The other company, which shall remain nameless, couldn't even get the end cap off the sewer pipe. Luckily, Pipe Cam got their camera repaired and was willing to come by on a Friday at 5:30 pm. During the inspection, Jim was extremely informative, instructive, and humorous. He made sure I knew what I was seeing, the likely cause of any intrusions or blockages, and the likelihood of these becoming bigger problems. Both before and after the inspection, Jim went out of his way to make sure I knew more about the plumbing in my soon to be house. He also gave me a bunch of recommendations on repairs and upgrades that I should consider for the future. Finally, when we identified that the blockage was pretty minor. Jim walked me through how to snake out the blockage myself for less than $50, and suggested only calling him back for a complete cleaning if that didn't work. I highly recommend Pipe Cam for any sewer inspections or issues that you have. read more

Jim is truly an amazing man! He came to our home before we moved in and made sure the sewer pipes were clear of all the roots that had grown since the house was vacant for a time. Then he graciously returned to help us with the lateral pipes that were affecting out tub! He is friendly, fast and professional and really knows his business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PIPECAM INC. Thank you Jim! read more

Pamela and Jim were friendly and so great to help me when I was in pretty desperate need. I have been working with Jim for about 6 or 7 years, averaging about 8 to 10 a years . He is the only sewer lateral inspector I use because I believe he is trustworthy and good at what he does. He will not bull shit on what he sees , he turns up on at a specific time( not a 3 hour window) in any weather and when he leaves you know what is good or bad with your sewer lateral is and what the next steps are to get it fixed and working again. read more
