We absolutely love Piononos and their Strawberry Pavlova. A magnificent meringue-based dessert named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. Piononos' version is work of art, really. Fresh strawberries are thinly sliced, topped over delicate layer manjarblanco and walnut-meringue crust that is perfectly baked. This Pavlova is so fine. The best. EVER. No doubt about it! Another family favorite is the Volador. A traditional Peruvian dessert that consists of multi-layered Fillo dough filled with manjarblanco and sprinkled with Powdered sugar. Amazing!! My first ever experience with Piononos was last year for my birthday. I received a very special birthday cake from here--Pavlova--the absolute best! All my friends and family raved about it. It is layered with dulce de leche and topped with beautifully arranged strawberry slices. Light and crunchy, it's the most delicious dessert ever! They can make cakes as small as the personal portions you see in some Yelp pictures, to pies that serve over 30 people. Recently I stopped by their store to pick up some goodies. We got a bit of everything, from the mini Pavlova, to alfajores, mousse, key lime tarts, and even a carrot cake sample! I'm a huge pavlova fan and when I say this is the best pavlova in town, I mean it! Completely fresh and delicious. I've tried it's big version several times, I just tried the personal one. It's sort of a different texture but stills very yummy. They gave me a piece of chocolate cake and a sample of brownie. Service is A1 and place is simple but cute. I have placed orders at this bakery for years and had always an excellent experience with their products but sadly the customer service parts is a different story they are not able to recognize their mistake I ordered a cake for pickup when I opened it it had smashed on all sides of the box which was clearly too small for the size of the cake I called them to let them know & try to find a solution but their response shocked me "since they showed it to me without damage when I picked it up is not their responsibility" they only showed me the top of the cake not the sides where the damaged to the cake happened, clearly I didn't had a chance to see how tight the cake fit inside the box from the images is clear there was no damage on the top which was the only part I saw at the time of pickup see the images read more
