    Guava bundt cake
    Jacqueline M.

I've always been a fan of the sweeter things and was first introduced to some of Gioia's amazing sweets thru Small Tea in the Gables. They were so delicious and I'd come back over and over again just to pair my teas with yet another treat. On one particular day, I noted a post advertising some pies and a Meet the Baker sesh at the tea spot. There was no doubt in my mind that I needed to be there to try the pies and meet the maker of my sudden obsession. Mari was undoubtedly the sweetest and nicest person ever. I binged on all her pies in one sitting and it was friendship at first sight. Since then, I have used her for gifts, catering orders and sudden cravings. I can't say there is anything I've tried that I haven't liked. Check her out online for orders https://www.casagioiamiami.com/ and find her on the gram!

This is the one. It's been difficult to find a good bakery after moving to Miami and I had to drive 45 min each way to Casa Gioia but oh was it worth it!! The dulce de leche Dominican cake was gorgeous! And a steal for the price. The cake is huge, sturdy and delicious. There is a dulce de leche filling that is amazing!! I also appreciated that they texted me a day after pickup to ensure I liked the cake. Great customer service. Highly recommend. I can't wait to try more of the things on the menu!

Everything about it gives "special occasion" energy, from the presentation of cakes to the way the shop feels curated and elevated. This is not a bakery but more of a pickup your order place. Food (5/5) This is where Frudeco really leans into the luxury Miami cake aesthetic. The cakes and cupcakes are beautifully designed, highly detailed, and made to look like they belong at a celebration where presentation matters just as much as flavor. The pricing reflects that premium feel too -- cupcakes start around $22 for a 3-pack and go up to about $98 for a dozen, so this is definitely a splurge, but one that feels consistent with the quality and styling. It's the kind of dessert that feels more like edible decor than an afterthought. Their site shows elaborate vintage, wedding, anniversary, and themed cakes, with prices that reflect that premium presentation. I've ordered cupcakes for my daughter's birthdays. Vibe The vibe is chic, celebratory, and very Miami in the best way. Frudeco has that polished, high-end feel that makes it perfect for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and any event where the cake needs to make a statement. It feels less like stopping by for dessert and more like picking up a centerpiece.

Their filled croissants are legendary, with the Dulce de Leche and Pistachio being absolute fan favorites that live up to the hype.
