Small spot but a lot of pastries! We just got a bunch of different ones, the custard in some of the items is delicious! They take credit card and mobile pay.

FINALLY! I've been on the search with my wife for a while for a good quality concha! I'm originally from New York and over there conchas are taken very seriously. We had tried out several spots already and always seemed to be disappointed. But not here, oh no, the location is small and straight to the point. They are highly strict on their COVID regulations allowing only two customers at a time inside. Which considering the small size is very understandable. Of course, we only had the conchas. We were highly disappointed they only had vanilla and not the pink ones which is why I couldn't give five stars yet. They seemed to have some in the back but I think they export wholesale so they refused to give us one. My cravings were offended, but oh well. We took four of the vanilla ones and went on our way. We were not disappointed! From the size, to the price, to the quality we were blown away. We tried them both warm and cold and decided cold was the way to go. They were fluffy and sweet and God bless them for making me homesick! Still they were one of the best I've ever tried and even though it's far I suggest you make the effort and go anyways! You won't be disappointed.

Stopped here before work to get some cuban coffee. This place is small but has a lot of baked goods that were made fresh. People here are mostly Spanish speaking but I was able to get by and they were friendly. Not the cleansest place and ingredients were left out to be seen like eggs. The baked goods were mostly cookies, cake and other pastries. Great place to stop by for a quick breakfast.

    Goodies!

I enjoyed an outing with my cousins here and treated myself to a dozen rolls and a vanilla shake. There's space to just hang out, enjoy some other sweet treats available by a food truck, and sit down on benches. Leashed doggies we're here to accompany and made some friends along the way. The menu has stayed the same with pies, rolls, and breads. Not all veggies are available they use to have but still the mos5 "popular" veggies remain. They still seperate the baked items from the shakes and drinks. I came on a weekend and there was practically no line which was unusual for me but appreciated. The smells, tasted, and feels are still the same. I'm glad someone took over but kept the tradition.

While I thought it was a pretty solid cinnamon roll, there was nothing really overly exciting about it. It was just a decent cinnamon roll. We also tried the strawberry milkshake and I will say that was also pretty good, especially on a hot Florida afternoon. I appreciated the real strawberry flavor. Additionally there wasn't a lot to do when we got there. Maybe it was because we were there at the end of the season, but from what I could tell there wasn't really only the bakery and milkshakes. Again, solid option but I had heard so much about this place and just don't quite understand the viral nature of this place. But overall a good thing to do to spend an open late afternoon

If you're heading south toward the Everglades or anywhere near Everglades City, a stop at Robert Is…read moreHere is absolutely non-negotiable. This iconic fruit stand is a true South Florida institution. From the moment you pull in, it feels like stepping into a charming, old-school roadside market bursting with color and character. Crates overflow with vibrant tropical fruits, the air smells sweet and fresh, and the whole place has that nostalgic, family-run charm you just don't find everywhere anymore. The mamey milkshake is my go-to and hands down my favorite. It's unbelievably thick, creamy, and packed with rich tropical flavor. One sip and you'll understand why it's legendary. Beyond the milkshakes, they carry incredible local honey, homemade sauces, unique jams, fresh shallots, beautiful vegetables, and perfectly ripe fruits. The exotic fruit selection alone is worth the trip. you'll discover varieties you didn't even know existed. What makes it even more special is that Robert himself is often there, still working and interacting with customers. It adds such a personal touch. Everyone on staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. Don't skip the back area, there's a small petting zoo where you can buy feed and interact with the animals, which makes it a fun stop for families and kids. It's more than just a fruit stand . it's an experience. A must-visit South Florida classic.

Robberies Are Here is more like it…read more We stopped at Robert Is Here for what should have been a fun family experience. Instead, we left with a smashed rental car window, 1,500 dollars in stolen valuables, and a ruined vacation. Our car was broken into while parked directly in front of the property -- in plain sight. We weren't even there for 15 minutes. When we asked about security camera footage that might help identify who did this, we were told the cameras don't work. Let that sink in. A high-traffic tourist destination with non-functional security cameras and apparently zero deterrent for criminals who clearly know this area is an easy target. This isn't a random isolated incident -- this is a known problem and the owners have done nothing meaningful to protect their customers. Working cameras, security presence, adequate signage warning visitors of the risk -- none of it. Just a cute fruit stand with a dangerous parking lot and zero accountability. (To be fair, the employees seemed remorseful, and gave us some trash bags and tape to cover the window.) Save yourself. Buy your fruit somewhere else. No smoothie is worth what this visit cost us.
