Such a cool pit stop on our way out from the Everglades. It's basically a large fruit stand-road-side stop where you can load up on everything from fruits to drinks and even hang out with some animals in the back! There is a huge variety of fruits and combinations that you can customize and choose from for your drinks (either milkshake or smoothie). The smoothies were really refreshing and a large portion so the $10 was well worth it. In the back, there was a large seating area with also some food trucks if you wanted something savory. But the other hidden stars of the places are all the animals that you can see and even feed. So I drove all the way here knowing I was in for an adventure. I wanted a farm stand or market. While they had a tiny bit of veggies, they had about 20% fruit and 75% mangoes. Disappointed. I decided I might as well get a shake since the line was long- I got the Mamey milkshake since I never had Mamey before. It is good. I really can't describe it- not sweet. Creamy. Yeah, kind of like sweet potato. We'll see how my tummy feels after the milk in the shake By the way- this is a large cup. I'm definitely not going to finish this!!! This stop outside Homestead, FL is not too far from Everglades National Park. This is actually the second time we have been here, with the first time in 2014. The milkshakes were so memorable that we had to stop again! I loved my strawberry key lime flavor. It's made with fresh fruit and you are allowed up to three different fruits. After that, there will be additional fees. They have lots to choose from and the portion sizes are pretty large. There is also a market, where you can find lots of produce, souvenirs and gifts. A petting zoo is out back with birds, emus, turtles, goats, etc. The animals look a little dirty. I know they are outside but I kind of wonder about their care. Hopefully they are taken care of ok. I dont know what to say besides this is an institution and a blessing to south florida. We just wanted juice and I got the biggest mango (that they cut for me) and a visit to their rescue animal area in the back. They have emus and cows and goats. It's so fun to observe the animals. The fruit is amazing, I with I lived there and could stock up. The fact they cut the mango for guests is so convenient while on vacation. The juice is so fresh! Visited here while in town. Fun to try lots of new fruits I've never had before. The petting zoo area is fun. Everything is very pricey though. I decided to order online when I got home so my family could try some things. A month and half later, after many calls back and forth, I was told the mangoes I had ordered were no longer in season. That's fine, they offered some other mangoes. They told me the Mamey I wanted would still arrive along with the mystery fruit box. A few days later, I finally had my box. The fruit was rotted, smashed, moldy and they didn't have the Mamey (they did refund this before the box sent) I basically paid $170 for some mangoes because the rest was inedible and had to be tossed. This enormous fruit stand is stocked with exotic fresh local fruits: 1. As the largest tropical fruit that grows on trees, a single Jackfruit can weigh up to 80 lbs. The skin resembles a green sea urchin, and inside is a soft orange fruit featuring a pineapple-vanilla flavor. 2. Guanabana has a similar green prickly skin as the jackfruit. When the fruit is ripe, the skin is extremely soft and can be opened with your hands. Robert says the pockets of fruit you'll find inside taste like "pineapple cotton candy." 3. Dragon fruit has a bright pink skin protecting white fruit inside, which has small black seeds. It tastes like a blend of raspberry, strawberry & kiwi. We waited on a long long line for fresh fruit, milkshakes and smoothies. We bought all kinds of fruit, vegetables and exotic fruits to try. I was disappointed they used to have samples so we could have a little taste of exotic fruits before we purchase them. There were long line for the smoothie and milkshake, $10 each, it's pricey and the quality was not consistent, I had the seasonal jackfruit smoothie, it was awful, I throw it away after 1-2 sips. It's got a cool little animal petting area in the back and areas to sit with some food trucks as well. However, for the price you pay, you're completely ripped off based on the quality of the products. The smoothies we got were of questionable quality - not very flavorful. The passion fruit and orange one was the best of the two, the guanabana one was a little weird. The sugar cane juice fell flat too. The biggest let down was the fruit we bought. The papaya and chickoo we bought was absolutely tasteless, we had to throw it out because they tasted like crap. For how much we paid for it, and for the fact that we bought it from a farm stand, it felt very disappointing. The tangerines were decent though. I stopped by this fruit stand on the way to the Keys. I loved roaming around and seeing all the different types of fruit. Robert was so friendly and picked out the ripest sapotes for me. I ended up buying 5 pounds of them! I also got the famous guanabana milkshake. Despite it being called soursop the milkshake was sweet and not sour at all. I highly recommend it! We stopped by on our way to the Everglades with the intent of getting a quick smoothie, however, our visit kept getting extended because of all of the great things to look at! Huge petting zoo with a great variety of animals, tons of vintage pieces, locally made products and produce. We did end up getting a strawberry orange smoothie and a banana strawberry milkshake. Both were tasty but extremely pricey at $9 each. Service was quick but signage was confusing as there were signs for pickup going to random places that were obviously not the pickup. Robberies Are Here is more like it. We stopped at Robert Is Here for what should have been a fun family experience. Instead, we left with a smashed rental car window, 1,500 dollars in stolen valuables, and a ruined vacation. Our car was broken into while parked directly in front of the property -- in plain sight. We weren't even there for 15 minutes. When we asked about security camera footage that might help identify who did this, we were told the cameras don't work. Let that sink in. A high-traffic tourist destination with non-functional security cameras and apparently zero deterrent for criminals who clearly know this area is an easy target. This isn't a random isolated incident -- this is a known problem and the owners have done nothing meaningful to protect their customers. Working cameras, security presence, adequate signage warning visitors of the risk -- none of it. Just a cute fruit stand with a dangerous parking lot and zero accountability. (To be fair, the employees seemed remorseful, and gave us some trash bags and tape to cover the window.) Save yourself. Buy your fruit somewhere else. This place is pretty famous in South Florida but we met some people who came down to visit from NYC! The inside is basically just a fruit market, albeit with some pretty exotic offerings on hand. We grabbed a few! They also sell a huge variety of fruit flavored smoothies and milk shakes too. Spensyr got passion fruit while I opted for guanabana. We also decided to split a Cuban sandwich for lunch and it was the saddest, blandest, not at all toasted and barely pressed Cubano ever. Out back is a huge pen full of rescued animals you can pay to feed, nothing looked especially healthy, but the goats and cows were hungry enough to come over to the fence. This is a great stop on the road between Miami and the Keys - we came here in January 2025, finding it by accident on our drive towards the Everglades, although we had seen it on YouTube a few times. The produce here is beautiful and exotic - fruits and vegetables never heard of - and varieties of those you know on an epic scale. The Monroe avocados in particular were mind boggling for their sheer size. We grabbed some tasty smoothies and checked out their petting zoo, which is a beautifully done animal shelter containing iguanas, goats, turtles, birds, and other critters. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they are happy to prep your produce for immediate consumption if you like. They also prepare a good number of juices made from their inventory. Their prices are much higher than other similar fruit stands around South Florida. We happen to go on a holiday weekend and a place was actually a zoo. I absolutely loved my time here. I did not think I would spend close to two hours at a fruit stand, but I did. First, there is plenty of parking along the sides of the place and people are constantly coming in and out so be patient if it's all full. Next, I loved the variety of fruit they had along with the signs that tell you about it and when it is ripe. I would say I was familiar with about 80% of their inventory and tried to buy some of the ones I had never had. I did like that for some of the larger fruits they sold it by pieces, which made me more likely to buy it. They will peel / cut up the fruit for you at the register, right in front of you. In total we spent $28 which was a bit expensive BUT, it was all worth it when he got to the animals because basically - you get a free trip to the zoo. The birds were fascinating, and they all had very unique personalities, some even talked. They has lots of tortoises, chickens running around everywhere, emu, ducks, and so many more. Came here on while on our trek to the NPs in South Florida. It is touristy, but if you're coming here with family, it's definitely a great place to go to. They have exotic fruits (yes, a bit pricey), an animal farm, milkshakes, and some food to grab. The best part about this place in my opinion was all the awesome animals that we saw while we were there. You get to be up close and personal with a lot of them. We stopped by for our first time August 28, 2026 after leaving Key West heading home to Jupiter Farms. What an Extraordinary experience. Highly recommend everyone to stop there. WHY ? The Ambiance is soothing and takes you back in time with old tractors and other objects that I remember from the 50's and 60's riding in a school bus from Kendal to Redland elementary daily. The huge amount of fresh fruit and vegetables is overwhelming as are the jars of various items from salsa to honey and everything in between. The smoothies, desserts, and various snacks and food items can fill any graving. The wood artwork is beyond outstanding. Super clean restrooms. With a wide variety of animals and birds to see and feed. Top it off with a large friendly and knowledgeable staff that is so hard to find nowadays.
