If you want AUTHENTIC Cuban pastries or catering for an event this bakery trumps all other franchises around. Croquetas are on point, Tostadas are on point! But my favorite item here HAS to be the Pan con Bistec! read more

Called ahead, arrived before 5pm (open hours). The owner locked the door and signaled to us to go away. We called again to see what the deal was and she said rudely they have pastries but are closed-Not sure why they have open hours posted on the door. Maybe the pastries are good but wouldn't recommend their customer service. read more

Horrible experience. We bought my grandma a cake days in advance. When we went to pick it up turns out they forgot. They offered us another cake or to wait till 5PM for the right cake. We took the other cake. NEVER DO THAT! It tasted so bad and was dry as heck. read more

Cuba Bakery - a woman standing in front of a bakery counter - Bakeries Near Me - Homestead, Florida

My Opera cake, and vanilla custard fruit tart were very good. Custard was light and sweet.

First, they got both of our orders wrong and the girls upfront. Both were a little rude. I won't be coming here again

Great pastries and amazing cortaditos!! Yes I'll be up all night lol you have to try this spot!

We had a couple pastries and cake slices and everything was absolutely delicious. Also, the service was great. The ladies that work there are very nice. read more

Came in town for a special 99th birthday party of my mother-in-law. Ordered moros, lechon, yuca, croquettas and maduros. Everything was delicious! Lechon was tender, yuca and maduros tasty and oh....the moros and croquettas were out of this world. The servings were huge as well with many leftovers for people to take home. You just can't go wrong when ordering party food here. read more

Cuba Bakery - Our excited family after imperial rice - Bakeries Near Me - Homestead, Florida

I have been coming to their bakery since I was 12. It is still my favorite bakery 30 years later. There food does not disappoint and their pastries are the best around. So pass by place and order and have a cup of Cafe con leche, you will love yourself for doing so. read more

It is a local business. It is bustling and you seldom hear English. On the other hand all were very helpful to me, and I do not speak Spanish. Ate breakfast there on four or five morning, empanadas, crokettas, all fresh, freshly pressed oj coffee. All delicious. They also had other Cuban traditional breakfast items, which I have not tried. But I tried the pastries, they were also excellent. read more

This is the second time in the last few months that the pastelitos de guayaba were so old and stale, I threw the whole box away! And it's actually a shame bcuz I remember going to them a couple of years ago and they were great! read more

What a terrible experience. I came by this bakery on Dec 24th... my family and I had a hankering for some Cuban bread and ham croquettes and we are still looking for a good Cuban style bakery near our house. We decided to try this one out as it is just blocks for our home. Big mistake. I can't say if the food is any good...quite honestly I was never able to eat the food...because the service was so atrocious. First off the lines for service are long....long. And there are two lines with no signage as to what the lines are for. We stayed in one line for twenty minutes before we got to the front and found out it was the pay line. They do not give food in the line we were in...but the guy in front of me they made an exception for and gave him 4 bars of Cuban bread...so what am I chopped liver? And the lady gave us an attitude and everything! At this point I am so close to just leaving but I stayed because I really wanted some croquettes. So I go into the next line and wait 10 minutes before I can be helped and I am told that I would have to go back into the pay line after they give me the food! Are you kidding?!?! I told them no thanks and left. Terrible service! I went to Dunkin. read more

If you need a quick fix for coffee or pastelitos this place is great. Their tostadas are not that great, you have to specify the amount of butter and crunch you'd like otherwise except warm buttered bread. Staff is a hit or miss - sometimes their friendly and other times they're just overwhelmed and rushed. read more

So delicious. Wish they had a bakery like this in my home town. The service was outstanding and they aim to please.

I got a cafe con leche and it was fabulous. I can't wait to go back and get another. My husband got the bom bom and it was the bomb bomb. Excellent. Only four stars because no one behind counter could speak English so difficult trying to ask questions. read more

I am new to homestead so I wanted to get my Cuban fix satisfied, so I tried Cuba Bakery out and it was disappointing. For Sunday 11AM it was empty (and now I know why) so service was pretty quick! I asked for Cuban bread a pastelito assortment (with queso, guava and guava/cheese) and the pastelitos were tasteless. Maybe I am just spoiled since I am used to Cuban bakeries in the heart of Miami, but I honestly wished this place would be better! The bakery attendants were very friendly! I haven't tried their food by the pound or anything else, but it didn't look that appealing. I would rather drive down to Miami to gets Cuban fix satisfied in the future. read more

I was in town for work and stopped in for some breakfast pastry and desserts. I tried my best to speak a bit of Spanish and the woman helping me was extremely gracious and helpful. The pastalitos were outstanding especially the guava and cheese. I also bought some desserts (tiramisu, cheesecake and flan) which were all outstanding. I bought 12 pastalitos and 6 desserts for $20! This is a no frills style bakery with outstanding sweets. I absolutely will be back! read more

They make something utterly special here...craveworthy...unique. It's a delicious two layer cheesecake-flan that is 4 inches tall and unbelievably better than anything over at the c-cake factory. If you remember that flan de queso at Lila's on Bird Road, (RIP Lilas), you'll know the rich kind of flan that is one of the layers, and married to a cheesy custard of nystyle cheesecake with the caramel syrup over all. It's surely enough to feed 20, or 10 sweets lovers, so don't fret at the price. I have purchased a couple of the basic rum cakes over the past year, and it always gets raves from birthday guests as the best they've ever had. It has a flavorful rum soak that is twice as creamy and rummy than anything at that famous wedding lady cake's shop (you know the one, who also sells at Winn-Dixie). Think moist versus dry, and you know why this one is superior. It's also creamy tasting, and to me, seems like a cross between a Tres Leches and a rum cake though I doubt it has cream. The icing is delicious, and generously thick, too. Service wise, they are brisk and friendly at the same time. I often come in when they are helping another patron, and don't mind waiting, as they give you undivided attention until your transaction is complete. Would recommend to anyone, for a pastry and coffee (or single slice), to catering a party. read more

Love this bakery! Been going here for years and ordering food for all of my parties! Their Arroz Imperial is amaziiing!

One of my favorite places to get a cafe con leche! They are very good with serving their customers and getting each person in and out quickly. They have a $5 minimum for credit/debit cards. I would recommend bringing cash because they also charge a small credit card fee for anything under $10. Great Bakery! read more

This bakery is delicious , they have the best sandwiches ever. Their pastries are amazing

A co-worker swears by the cakes here, says she has been buying them for 20 years. Came in to find a well stocked bakery with several choices ready for on the go purchase. Very attentive staff, decent prices for food specials and the pastelitos are amazing! Best of all I was able to place both my order for rental chairs and food for our Christmas Party at the same place! read more

The staff was very friendly. The coffee and cuban bread is amazing. A must try when in the area.
