First off, the manager Casi is AMAZING and the lead bartender/manager Dustin is just as great. I had a complaint, issue and I reported it to the website. Not only did Casi come to meet me she treated us to a game card. It is rare to have a manager take such pride in her location and make sure her guest have a good time. Went here as an alternative to Round One on a date with my s/o; in summary, I had a ton of fun! Walking in, the female receptionist was happy to greet us and engaged us in conversation. She easily answered our questions. The prices were surprisingly good, and the payout for their coin machines was higher than most. I was able to win the first crane game I played. The prices of each game were reasonable, and we ended up spending a couple hours there, which doesn't usually happen when I go to an arcade. Unfortunately, the arcade was on the smaller side. My coin game ran out of coins at one point, and when I asked for help from a supervisor, he basically brushed me off and told me to wait for someone to help me at the bowling kiosk. Despite this, I left with the memory of a positive experience. If it was closer, I wouldn't hesitate to visit again! read more

I reserved a place for my son for his 15 th bday and am quite bothered that a "manager" came up to me and was saying that a few o me the "moms" were complaining about my 19 year old daughters shorts! Really...eight is the 21st-century and teenagers these days wear shorts that they probably should not be wearing out in public but if she is OK with wearing them I'm OK with it she is over 18 and I don't feel that if a person at this place complained about her shorts being too short and she needs to leave is something that needs to happen that is absolutely in my opinion outrageous. I literally spent five to $600 at this place and it really pisses me off. If people these days are upset about other people they see in things that they can't where they need to get over it don't complain your kid 16 so much worse! Get over it and get a life but I am very pissed off about this. read more

I can't fathom why Pinstack Plano only has 3 stars. This place is fantastic. They call Disney World the happiest place on earth? It's Pinstack!! You get to play games, climb rock walls, ride bumper cars, bowl, AND have drinks while you're doing it! This place is a ton of fun. My 14 yo niece was visiting and we came here. I did every activity with her and it made me feel like a kid again. We both had a blast, and I'll definitely be going back. It's not a cheap outing, but worth a splurge. read more

I normally come here a lot but I don't recommend coming on Sunday's when Christy is working behind the bar . We closed the front door because the smoke was coming inside from the smokers and this is a smoke free bar . And Christy got an attitude saying don't touch the door . Well we are customers and if we are uncomfortable with the smell of smoke in a smoke free bar then we should be able to close the door if we want . Took my daughter here tonight for her 9th birthday. She had a blast! A big shout out to Gaby especially! She went above and beyond with customer service tonight and made it a night to remember. My daughter wanted to try the obstacle course and spent quite a bit of time just scared in the same spot. Gaby went out of her way to help my daughter feel comfortable and helped give her confidence by showing her how to do each course. It was so sweet. Pinstack was AMAZING! First off, the staff here was so personal and caring. I accidentally left my keys up there (we carpooled) and while this wouldn't normally be a problem, I live all the way on the other side of the metroplex.. the drive is at least 45 min without traffic. I spoke to one of the managers and he PERSONALLY mailed me my keys. That is seriously UNBELIEVABLE customer service. Besides that, every year, our entire staff goes out for the day and does something fun together. This year, we chose bowling. Your typical bowling alley is run down, smelly, and kind of sketchy.... Pinstack takes the bowling experience to a completely different level! No detail is missed, even the shoes are comfortable! The bowling alley has huge screens playing music videos, flashing lights everywhere, giving off the coolest vibes ever. For a bowling alley, their food was the best I've ever had. We got fries, sliders, street tacos, and nachos. All superb and the service was excellent. Then afterwards we went and played laser tag in a huge two story arena. They also have some of the coolest, most massive arcade games I've ever seen. Basically, this place is perfect for a group event, birthday, or date. Definitely will be returning. Our waitress, Julissa, was amazing and very understanding of "moms gone wild." We really had a great time and the constant attention of our server. Tonights visit, on a casual Thursday, was awful. Bowling We were assigned a lane that was already being used by a large group. We stood around, aimlessly looking for staff for a clarification. We were moved to another lane, across from another group. The way the seats and tables are situated makes things very awkward if you're accustomed to a regular bowling lane - the booths face each other, with a shared table in the middle. We had no room on the table for ourselves, as the other party's food/drinks were sprawled out. A younger kid, couldn't be more than 16, put the names in to the scoreboard for us, backtracking several times over spelling. Felt weird having someone do this kind of thing for us. After doing that, he told us "I need to tell you the rules". I jokingly said we knew how to bowl, but he went into detail about "the rules here at Pin Stack". It felt demeaning. While playing, we had both this kid and another bowling-attendant type kid watching over us (and everyone else) the entire time.. it was strange. Felt like we were being watched in case we did something wrong. The lane next to us was using bumpers, and the kid told them they couldn't use them because they didn't have any children in their party. He kept walking between us and the lane, surveying the area. It was extremely irritating. With 10 minutes left of our hour left, a group of about 10-15 came to sit next to us in the now-empty 'half-lane'. After causing a ruckus in the area, and moving through our lane to go somewhere else, they left. I don't understand why they would assign a group of 10-15 to one lane, especially when that lane is literally openly adjacent to another. Food We ordered food in the bowling area. The speed at which we ordered our food was awful. No silverware, no napkins or plates. We had to ask three times, to receive any of this. No offers of refills on the drinks. If the place was busy, I could forgive this kind of stuff.. but it wasn't. The food itself was pretty poor. Pizza was bland. I ordered a "Texas Smokehouse" burger.. it was dry. Literally, actually - I complained to my friends how they didn't put any BBQ sauce on it, or any sauce for that matter, before looking at the menu and realizing it didn't say it came with BBQ sauce. I think that's my fault for assuming a burger with 'Texas' and/or 'Smokehouse' came in the name. I asked for some on the side, but it never came. In Closing The whole design of this place, on top of being run by mostly teenagers with very little focus on the customer is just.. out of wack. For attempting to be, what I would consider it's trying to be, an 'upscale bowling alley', it pretty much fell flat. I can't recommend staying away from this place enough. read more

I wish that I could rate you ZERO stars. Today is Monday but also Memorial Day. There is nothing on your website or IN YOUR BUILDING that states that the holiday would fall into the "Weekend" pricing category. You charge two different rates for bowling, either a weekend or weekday pricing. Congratulations! You are overcharging everyone that is bowling today! Your pricing needs to say "Weekend or Holiday" at the higher price or "Weekday" at the lower price. After talking to two different sets of "Managers", they gave me the lower price, instead of the $44 / hour weekend rate. When getting the lane, I paid for the hour but I let them know that there was a good chance I would extend the time. They said not a problem and to come back up before the time expired, if I wanted to extend the time. Well I did that and even talked to the same person that gave us lane but she would not extend it because they were on a waiting list. Guess what, there was a waiting list when I got the lane when you mentioned that I can extend the time before my time was up. If you are looking for family fun, go to Main Event, TopGolf or Dave and Buster's instead of this place! Trust me, you will thank me later for that suggestion! read more

I came here for a night of bowling with friends a few weeks ago, and we had a great time! It was a busy Friday night, but we were able to get a lane right away. Our servers brought out our food and drinks very quickly, and every employee was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back to bowl and play some games! read more

What a waste of hard earned money. This place is anything but upscale. Very poor customer service. We arrived before 6:30pm tonight only to stand around several minutes waiting for one of 6 people behind the counter to address us. Finally we flagged one down to get us a lane. Then found out there was a waitlist several deep. The empty lanes apparently were reserved. Guy tells me you cant reserve them same day, you have to call in 7 days in advance to make a reservation. Thats ridiculous!! On the phone earlier that day I asked to make a reservation, but the girl said we wouldn't have a wait before 6:30. I asked if I could reserve a lane, she said they don't take reservations. After telling the guy about my call that day he finds me a lane and we walk over and start ordering food only to find out the advertised menu specials online were not even available. Beers advertised at happy hour prices were charged at full price. We specifically told the waitress we wanted the $3 happy hour domestic beers advertised online. Manager was clueless about difference between a domestic and craft beers and his advertised happy hour prices. After two rounds back and forth to get the bill corrected they just wrote off 3 beers. Still not correct but thankfully we weren't being over charged. We dropped $150 on an evening of bowling for 4. Could have had a much nicer time somewhere else for that price with excellent customer service. Floors were very sticky in front of the lanes which made it hard to bowl. Noise level is deafening. Not a place to carry a conversation with others. This is one place we won't be coming back to visit. Just not worth the money it costs for 2 hours of entertainment for 4 people. read more

We had a church youth group party this evening at Pinstack Plano. Since a good number of the teenagers did not RSVP, we could not give the event staff an accurate number at the time of reservation and we ended up having to change the numbers at the very last minute. Emma was very understanding of what was undoubtedly a frustrating scenario. We had a miscount on the number of kids that left us short on game cards. The manager, Rudy, was also very understanding of this and resolved things for us quickly and easily. Pinstack Bowl only has 1 location opened in the United States in Plano and 2 more locations are opening this year in Irving and Allen. Pinstack Bowl is comparable to Main Event. Dave & Busters is known for its video games but in my opinion Main Event is better because there is much more to do. Well I rate Pinstack Bowl higher than Dave & Busters and give it a slight edge over Main Event. Pinstack Bowls restaurant and bar Exceeded my expectations in decor and menu options. The staff continuously checked on each customer at each bowling lane for drinks and food. This place is for friends, family, kids and adults. Bring Pinstack Bowl to San Antonio! read more

The first time I attended with a group of friends to celebrate a 25th birthday party and our server COLSTON was beyond amazing. When I returned a second time he was no longer there but our new server CHRISTIAN was even better! Someone at the top of the hiring process/training process really knows what they are doing while preparing their employees customer service, these two %100 proved it. There is not much to say about this venue other than it is high on the list of worst customer service. My friend hosted her birthday party here, and I have got to say that staff was unreasonable and slow. They cut our time short of the hour she booked the lanes for because it was a busy Saturday night, but that is no excuse. We spent a little over thirty minutes bowling, and the food did not arrive until after "our time was up." it was cold and unappetizing. The arcade itself was fun with a plentiful variety of games and attractions, but the service ruined our evening. We will not return anytime soon. read more

As a business owner I always make sure that my events for my staff are always above expectations. This was our first event as a company at Pinstack and it was one of the best events we have experienced. We were at the video games and were having issues getting the units to include all the players. Immediately we received assistance from a member of management named Carlos. He was able to get my staff all worked out and made sure they were having an amazing time. What a fantastic night out at pinstack for my 40th Birthday! My friends and I really enjoyed all the activities. The ropes course was thrilling! The rock climbing was fun and challenging! Bumper cars was great! We beat the other team in Laser tag! Tried our hand at some video games too! And we won some squishies! Whoo hoo! The worst bowling experience ever. I don't say that lightly. Service was incredibly slow and food order was wrong once we finally got it. Equipment continued to jam. When we asked for extra time to finish our game because we had waited at least 10 minutes on all the faulty equipment, we were told they were too busy to give us the time we paid for! One positive?
