Came on a Friday night to play games and eat with the family. I was skeptical because of the reviews but everything was great. Everyone who I interacted with on staff was polite, attentive, and helpful. Vanessa was our server and she did a great job. Food is fine, nothing special but honestly what do you expect for a place like this. Girls had a blast playing and overall it was a great time. We will be back to support the business. I saw a post on Instagram recently for this place, and it sounded like something right up my alley! Games and fun for the kids, food, and drinks! I stopped by here Friday night with my husband and two boys to check it out. I was a bit surprised at how not busy the place was, considering it's a Friday evening. We started off playing a round of arcade games and were debating whether or not we wanted to do an hour of bowling, which is $36/hour on weekends for up to 6 people per lane, including shoes, which is a great deal compared to other bowling alleys. We will probably come back to bowl when we have more time, since it said the place is 21+ after 10 pm, and it was already past 9 pm. Their menu sounded good, so we decided to order the poutine fries (don't let the name fool you. This is NOT your traditional Canadian poutine fries) and their dill pickle cupperoni pizza. We were seated outside near the firepit area and noticed that it doesn't look like anyone comes out to check on you and take orders. I went inside to the bar to order the food, and they said they would bring it out to us. The poutine fries were okay- a bit salty for my liking, but not bad. The dill pickle cupperoni pizza flavor-wise was not bad. It had a hint of sweetness to it, which worked well with the pickle and pepperoni combo. The only downside was that it was not cooked long enough, so it was pretty soggy, and all the toppings would fall off when you tried to grab a slice. We had leftovers, so I went back into the bar area to try and get a pizza box, but it was extremely hard to get the attention of the bartenders, even though there were barely any people there. One bartender walked in front of me a couple of times, purposely avoiding eye contact with me, so another person had to help me once she eventually saw me. Definitely don't recommend. The bowling was fun but we had issues with our pins and after about 15 mins my husband had to go track someone down to fix them. We were told they would add some time back for us but that didn't happen. The service was terrible!!!! We ordered our first round of a beers and it was delivered at a normal rate of time. We ordered our second round of beers and a water and the beers got delivered about 20 mins later. My beer was wrong so we hit the service button for the waiter. Waiter never showed up. Husband went and found him again and asked for the correct beer. Still never got the correct beer. We finished our bowling game and had to track down the waiter to tab out. Visited as a party of 4 with a bowling reservation. Checking in for bowling was easy, we had prepaid so got our shoes immediately. But! We had planned on grabbing food while there and there were 0 waiters /waitresses in sight. We even equipped the service button on the bowling screen and still waited closer to 25 mins for someone to show up. We ended up getting up to get our own menu. We ordered waters, food and drinks. We had to ask 2 waiters about our waters bc those never came. Our waitress finally showed and when we reminded her, it still took about another 10 mins with waters. They were out of both the fried pickles, and the bishop crackberry beer I tried ordering so I had to change my choices. Our waitress had zero sense of urgency and we saw her maybe 3 times the 2 hours we were there bowling. . Nachos were yummy, and so were the fries. But food came with no napkins or utensils. We had to ask for both, and water refills, and had to get up to find ketchup ourselves as well. When we asked the waiter leaving our food about the quesadilla we ordered and had not yet received , instead of trying to help or find someone that could, he said he didn't know anything about that. His job was to just bring the food out. This place does have lots of activities and so much potential. But this is my second time here and service has been horrendous each time. With too many options in the area at the Star in frisco or Grandscape in the colony. Hard to say we'll be back any time soon. read more

We tried this place on Saturday night and it was poppin we ventured upstairs to the bar. Bianca was our bartender and she was awesome. We had the personal pitchers (TOTALLY RECOMMEND) we're awesome and worth the money. We started with the stuffed peppers and giant pretzel. Peppers were amazing. I got the chicken sandwich and my husband got the bbq bacon burger My chicken sandwich was a bit dry or needed some kind of sauce and the sweet fries weren't hot but they were still yummy. The burger reminded me of the overloced burgers from my grandmas backyard bbqs! We then bowled and they have a few games to choose from including angry birds this was fun. A recommendation I would suggest to management in the bar area put your menus on the table somehow if not a plastic stand or a laminated. The bar menu is over photocopied and hard to read. It's a great social spot with tons of games and entertainment for everybody. I really enjoyed bowling, pool, and just relaxing on the terrace after hours of play. I went on a Saturday evening, and the service was a tad slow. They didn't seem too busy, but drink refills took 10+ minutes, and food took over 20 minutes to arrive. The wings we ordered were tiny and overcooked, and the patty melt was underwhelming. We may go back for bowling but will be eating elsewhere. read more

Today I attended the ribbon cutting at the Tinman Social and I could not be more excited about this new venue!! Located across the street from the Hula Hut and hydros in Little Elm. This location has it all! You can pick your choice between ax throwing, bowling, bocce, pool, arcade, corn hole as well as dining. Out front, there are several fire pits and bocce set ups and outdoor patio upstairs and down. The decor of the restaurant is fresh and inviting. Whoever designed it did a great job! I like that the different sports are separated into their own zones, bars upstairs and down. I can't wait to come back with friends and enjoy the space. The area has definitely needed something like this and I'm sure will be an absolute hit! read more

We had a Girls' Night Out and it was a good time for the most part. It started off rocky because I made reservations for four games a week in advance. However, they said nothing is on record so I couldn't play what I planned. We ate most of the appetizers they offered and it was regular bar food. Nothing outstanding. What surprised me was the Salad. It was neatly organized and presented beautifully. I still crave that salad to this day. We played Bocce Ball and Corn Hole since everything else was booked. Bummer. I want to try the arcades next time. Do note that it is about half the price to play on the weekdays versus the weekends and they said game reservations aren't necessary on the weekdays. Commenting specially on the open seating restaurant experience as we did not play any games. We sat up top and were served by Patrick, who was so attentive and friendly and gave great recommendations. We got the Tinman burger and the chicken sandwich, the pork rinds, the spinach and artichoke dip and drinks. The only thing we did not like was the mojito, however, everything else was incredible. We love the concept of Tinman Social, a fun place with many activities for the family to enjoy. We're happy that a place like this opened up in the area cause my 3 year old is always asking to go the arcade. We come here a lot but they definitely have a lot of things that can be improved upon. 1. The staff/customer service. Though the people have been friendly for the most part, most of the employees aren't very knowledgeable with what's going on. You can find many of them standing around doing nothing and when approached, they look confused or unsure how to help. 2. The arcade games need to be maintained and many of the workers don't know how to fix them or trouble shoot. For a brand new arcade, many games are out of service or missing essential parts to play the games (balls, rings and bean bags). 3. Food, most of the menu items we've ordered have been pretty good. However, the time it takes to received your food could definitely be improved. 4. Price, I feel like the food and activities, including the arcade are a bit over priced. Most of the arcade games cost 10 credits or more (base price is 8 credits for $1, you get a better deal the more money you load onto the card) which equals about $1.25 to play. The most expensive game is 40 credits ($5) I believe. Again, when a lot of the games are out of service or missing parts, it take away from the fun. read more

It's the second year we've had it at Tinman Social, and our kids look forward to it..I think the kids come back for the team party more than the Medicare coaching but I enjoy seeing them happy either way! There was no waiter walking around to tables at least for a while but bar staff did take care of us when we walked up to ask. I finally visited after all this time. It was a Sunday only the car show happening so we thought to grab lunch. There was maybe 6 tables in the dining room. It took 25 minutes to get a waitress (there were two). Our drinks came 10-15 minutes later. Then we finally placed our order, and 35-45 minutes later I received but not my buddies food and my order missing the essential accessories for my quesadilla such as salsa sour cream. It took 5-10 minutes to find someone to tell them we were missing food. The food runner showed about 5 minutes later with my accessories but not his food. Finally we found another waitress and she went to look. 10 minutes later it came out. This is bar food! And not great bar food not even good bar food or should've been 15-20 minutes tops for greetings , drinks then food delivery! Not to mention a family had an issue with separate checks towards the send that essentially shut down the entire operation our waiter never showed back up we had to finalize the check with someone else that we had to go find. We checked this place out a few days after it opened up. The food was nothing special, worthy of 3 stars, but the space itself bumped the review up to 4 stars. We tried the spinach & artichoke dip, which was fine. The wife's chicken tenders were also fine, and my burger was very average. Servers were friendly, but when we arrived with our toddler and asked for a high chair, they advised that they only had 2 and they were both in use, so beware of that if you have kids. We brought our daughter here for her birthday and a bunch of her friends. She didn't receive any special treatment. Was given a card for the games just like the other girls and it didn't get enough points to purchase anything. The guy who was running the axe throwing didn't have any clue how it all worked and didn't give any instructions for the girls on how to throw the axe. For the price she should have been treated at least somewhat special. Nothing. Don't waste your money. read more

This place is fun! If you are looking to eat, head upstairs grab a table and order. Lots of seating, high tops and couches. Upstairs is a view of the Hydrous Water Sports and lake with seats. The food was good but the Brisket Mac n Cheese was just okay (brisket wasn't great). They have cheaper prices Mon-Thurs for activities. The prices go about $5-10 Friday-Sunday. The only free game is foosball, everything else cost by the hour. First of all, it's great to have a venue such as this in Little Elm. We have been 3 times so far and a few things stick out. Staff: Any staff member we have come in contact with has been very nice. Service: although the servers are nice, attentiveness lacks. Nothing is delivered in a timely fashion, on avg food takes 25 minutes to be delivered from time of ordering. Drinks take 5-10 minutes to be delivered. TAXES: Alcohol is being taxed incorrectly. 12% instead of 8.25% Overall the establishment is a fun change to visit. They are after all in the hospitality industry, which means means that you want to always ensure that your customers/guests are well taken care of, comfortable, entertained, and left with the feeling of a great experience. But NOPE...owners are absentee these days or they just don't put in the effort. My wife and kids went here for lunch on a Sunday. The place wasn't packed at all (now I know why) and the vibe was meh. We all ordered lunch at a high table upstairs next to the bar. I got the smoked wings and my wife got the large pretzel and pizza. The wings were ok, as was the rest. Typical bar food. It wasn't bad, but nothing great. Our server was really friendly, but what gets me is the lack of full service. Once we were done with our meal, I sat at the table for a good 30- 40 minutes with a table full of empty plates and drinks without refills while my wife and kids went to play games. I was a server in NYC after college for years, so I love to watch the staff to see how they "work" to provide service and actually do their job. While I'm sitting there, I look around to see which of the 6 available servers would walk over to me to clear my table and this what I observed. 3 of them were in the corner leaning up against the wall looking at their phones, talking and laughing. Probably comparing their latest and greatest TikTok videos. A few others went outside on the patio to chat and puff on their vape pens. And then one of the better observations was this female server who grabbed the bussing cart (tubs on wheels used to clear plates/cups from tables) to walk over to a high table right next to me that had just left to clear it and clean it. She begins to sing just loud enough so you could hear her. She has an amazing voice, and is most likely practicing for the next American Idol audition while at work. She takes her sweet time to clear that ONE table as she blissfully sings, and when she's FINALLY done she walks right past me with her cart and does NOT stop/offer to clear my table. I laughed in disbelief. All of the other tables were empty, and all she had to do was her job, which was to stop at my table to clear it. But NOPE. She kept on singing, walked the cart back to the corner of the bar where she left it and then continued to hangout and talk with her other server friends. And then you have Mr. bar tender. Big guys decides to have himself some lunch DURING his shift at the bar. He ordered himself a pizza, which he places on the back side of the bar by the window, which is in plain sight for all customers to see. There were two customers sitting/drinking at the bar watching the football game. While he decides to grab a nice slice, a new customer walks up to the bar to sit down and order. Mr. bartender finally noticed him just as he took a huge bite of his delicious lunch. He then proceeds to walk up to this new customer with his mouth full of pizza, chewing like a cow, trying hard to scarf it down as he greets the new customer with a mouth full and can barely get his greeting out. Again, I just laughed in disbelief. You can imagine the rest, but this is how the owner allows his business to run, and it's pathetic. Why spend all that money to go into business for it to be run/managed this way? Do you WANT to fail? Get it together, train and discipline your staff to SERVE your customers. You are after all in the hospitality industry. read more

I've never had worse service. It took over an hour for someone to even come over to us to get a drink, then it took another 30 minutes to get it. The waiter put in the wrong drink and refused to fix it. Then we finished our game and had to wait 20 minutes to close the tab. And finally the waiter didn't know anything, he said certain beers were a part of the happy hour, and they were not and they refused to fix it as well. The excuse they used is the bar tenders and managers all were over at the poker tables which is illegal in Texas. If they claim it's a "free game" but why are you giving up actual sales and actual customers for no profit is a lie. It really was just ok. Lots of opportunities to improve. Tons of space but poor utilization of space and setup is odd. All the staff acted and openly expressed their frustrations. Bartenders extremely slow and irritated because "he wasn't supposed to be bartending but was forced to" The next bartender complains "they don't give me enough fucking supplies" under his breath. The front desk staff more focused on talking with friends/ co workers while Customers are lined up. Super disorganized and obvious lack of Management. Food was cold and took almost an hour for pretzels and fried pickles. Kids... really after 9pm it should be adults only. It felt like an expensive recreational center to me. Go for the FUN, not the FOOD! Hubby, Myself and Friends visited Tinman Social for a bit of couples fun! The place was inviting with an Array of arcade games, cornhole, axe throwing, bocce ball, you name it! Unlike some family fun establishments, Tinman Social offered plenty of space without huge crowds or a noise level so loud, that the only appropriate conversation level is CLUB LEVEL YELL. We chose Bowling as our activity of choice; and at 6:30pm on a Saturday night we were able to get directly onto a lane. Which would be unheard of anywhere else without a reservation. The lanes were well maintained and the bowling balls offered resembled Billard Balls! TOO CRUTE!(YES, Crute not CUTE) You're even allowed to bring your own bowling balls and shoes if you got'em! However, this is were the good times ended. As we were setting ourselves up for bowling( gathering bowls, entering names into the electronic score keeper, etc...) we ordered food. 2 orders of their Smoked Chicken Wings, Pulled Pork Sliders w/ Onion Rings, and Smoked Pulled Chicken Sliders w/Fries and an Ice Tea. Simple right? 45 minutes later and one heck of a bowling game later? Nothing We asked our server what we should do about the food now that our game was over and we had to move. He suggested moving to one of the many vacant tables near the bowling section and he would go check on our food. 10 minutes later we were seated with our food. The Smoked Chicken Wings were well seasoned and tasty. However, SMOKE was nowhere near the vicinity. We were cool with that. But, both orders of Sliders were cold, dry, and uneventful. A "Manager" was perusing the section, and I stopped her to inform her of the delay in service. She informed us that they were really short handed as most establishments are now a days( her words, not mine) and that they only had 1 server for the bowling section. (Only us and 1 group that was leaving had ordered food . Ok?) She also stated that the kitchen staff was all new. Thst was it. My husband asked if he could at least get some fresh fries(which the "Manager" took the old fries(poor Mike (the other gent in our party) was just happy to have food since he's Diabetic and said he would just eat his food cold, but asked for No Sugar Sweetner for his Iced Tea. 35 minutes later(food consumed, and res to go) the "Manager" never came back with the old fries, none the less the fresh fries, my husband polity asked for(which he paid for). We inquired to our server about the sweetner and fries and he was never even informed about said articles. Now ya'll know after over 20 years as an Executive Chef and Caterer. I understand the struggle of short staff issues. However. Hot(temp not flavor) Wings take at least 10 minutes to cook. Fries and Onion Rings 6-8 minutes and sliders 4 minutes to assemble(I know you were Hot Holding the meat, because it was dry! Just add a little water) This was not a short staff issue, but a food preparation issue, as well as, lack of training. I was done! Plus! A "Manager" who didn't even care enough to take responsibility or even TRY to make it right!(She could have at least pawned the reorder of fresh fries and sweetner over to our server! She didn't even care enough about her employees( who depend on good tips) to do that!) I was DONE! I proceeded up to the main counter and the manager Michael was a DREAM!!!! As a long time Little Elm resident I visited the Tinman multiple times and try and give it the benefit of the doubt but each time they continue to disappoint me, tonight was the final straw. Came with group to watch the Stars game and was greeted by a bartender that did not want to do his job, we had to ask for a server as he was too busy to attend us. At the end of the night we were basically kicked out right at close even though we had been allowed to order a last call and TVs were shut off so we were not able to finish watching the game. I will no longer spend my money here and wish them the best of luck. read more

I really was impressed with the space and the different levels there is an upstairs and downstairs the bar was upstairs I believe and a restaurant downstairs. I love how it had two bowling alleys one upstairs and one downstairs. The view is immaculate you're able to look across at the lake restaurants across there. Great place to hang out with friends and family. Great attentive staff, good food and good drinks. Came here on a Thursday. Wasn't too busy but which gave us a lot an opportunity to try most of the (non arcade) games out. Prices are pretty reasonable and you can ask for reduced time instead of the posted game times. Eg 30 min for axe throwing instead of 90 min etc. I wish they had one of these back home. read more

Under said roof, you can find a spectacular view of the lake, vast terrace and a shiny new arcade. We've visited Tinman several times in the last 18 months. While the food is typical of what you'd expect at a bar, it has always been served quickly, been tasty, and a good value. We've taken our grandsons there to play in the arcade and to bowl, too. They love going and always leave with lots of prizes. We always have the same server/bartender when we visit. Patrick is polite and attentive to his customers, and we look forward to seeing him when we visit. The establishment is clean, including the bathrooms. We will continue to visit Tinman. read more
