Went for a late lunch, it was a nice day to side outside. Food and drinks were great, as was our service from Dillon.

Visited as a party of 4 with a bowling reservation. Checking in for bowling was easy, we had prepaid so got our shoes immediately. But! We had planned on grabbing food while there and there were 0 waiters /waitresses in sight. We even equipped the service button on the bowling screen and still waited closer to 25 mins for someone to show up. We ended up getting up to get our own menu. We ordered waters, food and drinks. We had to ask 2 waiters about our waters bc those never came. Our waitress finally showed and when we reminded her, it still took about another 10 mins with waters. They were out of both the fried pickles, and the bishop crackberry beer I tried ordering so I had to change my choices. Our waitress had zero sense of urgency and we saw her maybe 3 times the 2 hours we were there bowling. . Nachos were yummy, and so were the fries. But food came with no napkins or utensils. We had to ask for both, and water refills, and had to get up to find ketchup ourselves as well. When we asked the waiter leaving our food about the quesadilla we ordered and had not yet received , instead of trying to help or find someone that could, he said he didn't know anything about that. His job was to just bring the food out. This place does have lots of activities and so much potential. But this is my second time here and service has been horrendous each time. With too many options in the area at the Star in frisco or Grandscape in the colony. Hard to say we'll be back any time soon.

Chicken sandwich and sweet fries

We tried this place on Saturday night and it was poppin we ventured upstairs to the bar. Bianca was our bartender and she was awesome. We had the personal pitchers (TOTALLY RECOMMEND) we're awesome and worth the money. We started with the stuffed peppers and giant pretzel. Peppers were amazing. I got the chicken sandwich and my husband got the bbq bacon burger My chicken sandwich was a bit dry or needed some kind of sauce and the sweet fries weren't hot but they were still yummy. The burger reminded me of the overloced burgers from my grandmas backyard bbqs! We then bowled and they have a few games to choose from including angry birds this was fun. A recommendation I would suggest to management in the bar area put your menus on the table somehow if not a plastic stand or a laminated. The bar menu is over photocopied and hard to read. We will definitely be back!!

Today I attended the ribbon cutting at the Tinman Social and I could not be more excited about this new venue!! Located across the street from the Hula Hut and hydros in Little Elm. This location has it all! You can pick your choice between ax throwing, bowling, bocce, pool, arcade, corn hole as well as dining. Out front, there are several fire pits and bocce set ups and outdoor patio upstairs and down. The decor of the restaurant is fresh and inviting. Whoever designed it did a great job! I like that the different sports are separated into their own zones, bars upstairs and down. I can't wait to come back with friends and enjoy the space. The area has definitely needed something like this and I'm sure will be an absolute hit!

Commenting specially on the open seating restaurant experience as we did not play any games. We sat up top and were served by Patrick, who was so attentive and friendly and gave great recommendations. We got the Tinman burger and the chicken sandwich, the pork rinds, the spinach and artichoke dip and drinks. The only thing we did not like was the mojito, however, everything else was incredible. The tinman burger is EXCEPTIONAL. Definitely one of my favorite burgers. The views were beautiful from upstairs, had a fun vibe!

We love the concept of Tinman Social, a fun place with many activities for the family to enjoy. We're happy that a place like this opened up in the area cause my 3 year old is always asking to go the arcade. We come here a lot but they definitely have a lot of things that can be improved upon. 1. The staff/customer service. Though the people have been friendly for the most part, most of the employees aren't very knowledgeable with what's going on. You can find many of them standing around doing nothing and when approached, they look confused or unsure how to help. 2. The arcade games need to be maintained and many of the workers don't know how to fix them or trouble shoot. For a brand new arcade, many games are out of service or missing essential parts to play the games (balls, rings and bean bags). 3. Food, most of the menu items we've ordered have been pretty good. However, the time it takes to received your food could definitely be improved. 4. Price, I feel like the food and activities, including the arcade are a bit over priced. Most of the arcade games cost 10 credits or more (base price is 8 credits for $1, you get a better deal the more money you load onto the card) which equals about $1.25 to play. The most expensive game is 40 credits ($5) I believe. Again, when a lot of the games are out of service or missing parts, it take away from the fun.

This is the place for your team parties. It's the second year we've had it at Tinman Social, and our kids look forward to it..I think the kids come back for the team party more than the Medicare coaching but I enjoy seeing them happy either way! Service is great, kids have an absolute blast. The food and drinks are all good as well. Something for everyone. We have to drag our kids out of there! Good times.

Spinach & artichoke dip

We checked this place out a few days after it opened up. The food was nothing special, worthy of 3 stars, but the space itself bumped the review up to 4 stars. We tried the spinach & artichoke dip, which was fine. The wife's chicken tenders were also fine, and my burger was very average. Servers were friendly, but when we arrived with our toddler and asked for a high chair, they advised that they only had 2 and they were both in use, so beware of that if you have kids. The space itself was very well done; there are arcade games, bowling, corn hole, etc. Definitely a cool addition to the Lakefront area.

Danielle E was our server and there were not that many people in the restaurant. However, she kept disappearing! We got our food ordered and actually came out quick, but we never saw her again unless we went to ask for her. We had to go to the bar to get refills on anything and to the hostess stand to get our check brought! When she finally brought the check she disappeared AGAIN! Thankfully the hostess saw me looking around for her once again and came to take care of payment for us. The absolute worst part was that she decided to add money to her tip after we left. I take pics of my receipts I leave sadly for this exact reason! It was CLEARLY written. So no way it could have been mistyped. She is very lucky we even left anything after the horrible service we received from her. I called the restaurant today and asked for the manager to inform them of the discrepancy and he wanted my credit card number. I told him t it was very deceitful for her to do this. He gave an excuse about internet not working so he needed my credit card number to look it up. I told him I had the receipt with the server name, check number and table number that he should be able to use to look it up. He kept pressuring for the credit card number to look it up and I kept refusing to give that. He finally said hold on a minute, put me on hold, waited several minutes and hung up the phone on me. If you choose to go just know you may or may not get a server that cares about their patrons and take a picture of your receipt with the tip you leave.

My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch slash early dinner and overall the experience just left us asking, do we not get it? The vibe is cool and the space itself is nice. We didn't do the golf bays, but they look like the main draw and I can see how that would be fun with the right group. From an atmosphere standpoint, no real complaints. Food is where things fell apart a bit. We both ordered the Local Burger and it was mid at best. The bun completely fell apart and the fries were soggy, which is always disappointing when you're paying for something that's clearly trying to present itself as elevated bar food. It is weird that the menu is so limited. Usually fine with that cause it makes the food that is there much better, but that didn't happen this time. Service didn't help much either. The servers were all in their early 20s and spent a good amount of time texting and loudly talking at the end of the bar. I honestly don't care about that as long as service is still attentive, but that part was missed. Drinks sat empty longer than they should have and it just felt disengaged. Overall, it feels like a place that's trying to be fancier than it actually is. The food doesn't justify the hype and I'm guessing the golf bays are what really make this place worth it. I might come back if a friend wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my pick.

Wife's Cajun pasta came home in a box because we were too full to finish. Blood orange margarita was one of the best of the year. $136.40 total for a full date night including multiple drinks. Trying to move my wife off her Rainman-like creature of habit mentality brings a degree of risk. Thankfully, she didn't feel like fighting me. And she will be the first to admit that she was glad I "forced" her into something new. The deviled eggs were well liked. The entrees for our group included the herb roasted chicken, burger, nachos, and prime rib. For the record, any time I see prime rib on a menu I order it just to see if I'll ever return to that restaurant. Needless to say, it was prepared exactly to specification, with a perfect balance of tenderness coupled with the au jus sauce. My wife, having sampled every plate on the table, couldn't stop raving about the overall quality of every entree. Needless to say, I now have a new "safe" restaurant to add to our repertoire. I hate to add it as a side note, but the service was spot-on and our waitress was a perfect blend of attentive without being disruptive. If I lived in Frisco, WB's would be our local go-to spot.
