Mild/regular salsa, roasted jalapeno (served hot), & habanero salsa

We stopped by Ernesto's for an early Friday dinner (4pm). We are new to the area and It is close to our house. Upon arrival we were treated warmly and our drink order was taken right away. Our server was very nice and patient as we perused the menu to select our meals. Hubby went for the Shrimp & Avocado (shrimp cocktail) and I chose the chicken raquito appetizer with a side salad. As we waited for our meals to come, I asked if they had a spicier salsa to go with the chips and our server smiled and brought 2 more out. One was a roasted jalapeno salsa that was served hot - very delicious - and the other was a habanero salsa - which she said was too hot! I enjoyed both, the habanero one was the hottest. Hubby really enjoyed the roasted jalapeno one. As are meals came out, I noticed I did not get the appetizer version of the taquitos and instead it was a dinner plate with rice and beans. Hubby ended up taking those home. The shrimp & avocado had a lot of goodies in it and hubby really enjoyed it - he ate it all including drinking the last of the cocktail "sauce." My taquitos were pretty skinny, but he chicken inside was moist and tasty. All in all, service was great and the food was good. We'll probably order enchiladas or tacos next time.

Had not ever been to this location and wanted to try it, FIRST IMPRESSION: Open dining concept - no music and I love to go to Mexican restaurants and have the music in the background it really makes the atmosphere!! Service was not good - took forever to get drinks and chips and salsa.. HOWEVER when the chips and salsa arrived they were great! The salsa was especially good - a spicier warm salsa and a mild that was bursting with fresh flavor - neither were spicy in my opinion. Both were tasty! Waited forever for food and again I wasn't sure about it BUT surprisingly it was great!!! The Asada chimichanga was sooo good bursting with flavor! And the asada tacos were delicious and wonderful smoked flavor lots of meat and wonderful toppings on both asada taco plates that we ordered ! The rest of the people In our party did not complain at all they said the taquitos were fantastic and the combination burrito was also great!! So All that to say I wish the atmosphere was a bit better as the food was great!!!

This is not your typical small towns sad excuse for sub-par Tex-Mex. Since it's one of the few places near by we decided to give it a shot. My low expectations were surpassed, immensely. We were seated immediately on a Friday night. Our waiter was great! He kept our drinks filled, checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. Salsa was really good, not really spicy but good flavor. We also tried the queso Blanco, yum! Lots of menu options. I tried the choose your own 2 item option e/chicken enchiladas and a puffy taco and both were delicious. Will be back very soon.

Food is excellent. Love the beans and chips. The inside restaurant is excellent and the service is great. Ambiance is quite and relaxing.

Guacamole made fresh at table

Lunch today was great! The guacamole had a fresh taste. The chips were warm and not too salty. 2 types of salsa, one cold and tomatoes, the other warm and smoky. My chili relleno was very good. Service attentive and professional. The only reason I rated it less than 5 starts was because there was no fresh coffee. The interior was a little tired looking.

Fresh brisket tacos - tender and full of flavor.

Good food prepared right. Enjoyed our chicken tacos and crispy beef tacos. Restaurant was busy which shows it's a go-to place.

Food is bland, Manager is rude, don't waste your time. Go to the one in Pilot Point. It's way better.

I posted my first review of Brothers almost a year ago. Since then we have visited it regularly…read more The Ocampo family have never failed to provide a wonderful dining experience. We have grown especially fond of their fajitas. They are always excellent. We couldn't decide which was better, the beef or the chicken, so now we always have the combo plate. We stopped in again last evening. Their window tint is so dark we weren't sure if they were open. Thankfully they were. Jesus, one of the three family's brothers, made certain we had everything we wanted throughout the evening. His parents, Jose and Mrs. Ocampo, came out to make sure we'd had a good meal. We now have added their street tacos to a growing list of favorites. And their margarita puts those served by the Brothers competitors to shame. Rich in flavor and just potent enough to make you savor every sip. They said they're launching a new weekend morning brunch. You can be certain we'll be there to try it. I highly recommend the Brothers restaurant near the Aubrey / Krugerville border on 377.

Walking in, the atmosphere immediately threw us off--it had more of a sports-bar vibe, along with a "seat yourself" sign, and no staff greeted us. Honestly, if it hadn't been pouring rain, we probably would have left. With a name like Posh and Pours, we expected the décor and ambiance to reflect something a bit more upscale, but it didn't. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the food and drinks--both were very good. Our waitress, Meriyah, was excellent and truly the highlight of our visit. What didn't sit well with us was the overall staff dynamic. There was a large group of employees sitting at the bar chatting, looking very relaxed, while our waitress was running around taking orders for the entire place. When new customers walked in, the staff just stared at them instead of offering any kind of welcome. Considering the higher-end prices, the ambiance and service should match that level, and unfortunately, they did not. Because of the uncomfortable vibe from the staff (with the exception of our waitress) and the mismatch between price and atmosphere, we won't be returning.

My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch slash early dinner and overall the experience just left us asking, do we not get it? The vibe is cool and the space itself is nice. We didn't do the golf bays, but they look like the main draw and I can see how that would be fun with the right group. From an atmosphere standpoint, no real complaints. Food is where things fell apart a bit. We both ordered the Local Burger and it was mid at best. The bun completely fell apart and the fries were soggy, which is always disappointing when you're paying for something that's clearly trying to present itself as elevated bar food. It is weird that the menu is so limited. Usually fine with that cause it makes the food that is there much better, but that didn't happen this time. Service didn't help much either. The servers were all in their early 20s and spent a good amount of time texting and loudly talking at the end of the bar. I honestly don't care about that as long as service is still attentive, but that part was missed. Drinks sat empty longer than they should have and it just felt disengaged. Overall, it feels like a place that's trying to be fancier than it actually is. The food doesn't justify the hype and I'm guessing the golf bays are what really make this place worth it. I might come back if a friend wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my pick.
