Great way to spend the day. This is no windmill course it's the real deal. Well, for Mini Golf. 2x the fun with two 18 hole courses that play more like what you'd expect real golf greens to be like if they were much smaller. No playing off a brick our down a pipe here. You'll love it. One price gets you ALL DAY access with unlimited play for $30 adults, $20 kids, and $24 for seniors. Play a round then grab a bite and play two more. The food is pretty good. I like the Chicken Tenders and there's even an AYCE option which is a bit much for me but John Daly would approve. Need a drink? 3 bars, table and lounge seating AND they will walk your beverages out to your tee. It's all through the app which is where you can keep score to see how well you do against the others in the Big Board. Paper score cards are available for old school. The staff is fun and friendly. Always a smile and cheery. You would be too looking out over the greens all day. This is outside so wear sunscreen. The weekends can get packed where I've seen lines of 20 minutes to tee up but hey, you've got a drink in hand and the kids are playing corn hole or ping pong. It's all good. My experience at PopStroke Surf Lounge was truly amazing. I didn't even know this establishment existed, but now that I do, it's on my list of places to return to experience surfing. We arrived at PopStroke ready to golf, but it was extremely windy, so we walked over to the surf lounge and had a martini and a snack while we watched the surf instructors do their thing. What a cool spot to mini golf! Popstroke is like traditional mini golf, but instead of the big tacky features (windmills, etc.), it looks like a mini full sized golf course. There is an area to play games like ping pong, a playground, a bar, and an ice cream area. The bar food is surprisingly good. I got to try the chicken tenders, which came with a sweet mustard type sauce, the burger sliders, salad, broccoli, fries, potato chips and dip...everything was tasty. The skinny coconut margarita was also yummy. It tasted like a vacation. My favorites were the tenders, broccoli, and potato chips. They will bring you drinks while you play too, which is convenient. Service was phenomenal. While it is outside, they have big fans going so you are comfortable if it's hot out. read more

Arrived at PopStroke around 4:30 PM with a party of four and had a great experience. We purchased the day pass for $35, and they also offer a military discount for active service members and veterans, which is a nice touch. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Parking was easy with plenty of space available in the garage. Ordering food and drinks is done via QR codes located at every table and even at each miniature golf hole, which made it incredibly convenient. I ordered a spiked hot chocolate that was super warm and delicious--highly recommend it on a cold day. We also continued ordering different drinks throughout our round, and the process was very user-friendly and prompt. There are two courses: the black course, which is more beginner-friendly with easier terrain, and the blue course, which is hillier, more challenging, and a lot of fun. We tried several food items, including the ahi tuna nachos, Nashville hot sliders, Brussels sprouts, and Korean steak tacos. I especially recommend the ahi tuna nachos. There's also a playground on-site for the little ones, which makes this a great spot for families. Overall, a fun atmosphere with great food, drinks, and mini golf. The bartenders always keep our glass full, and the food runners are spot on, not wasting any time to deliver. It's super cool Popstroke took over the wave pool and made it a fun scenic view to the Colony overall. I love coming to Popstroke, whether it's here or down in Florida -- it's just a great time. Loved the mini golf experience but would likely skip the food next time or at least try something else. We started the night eating dinner. My turkey club was ok, bread was tasty since it was buttered Texas toast, the fruit was old. It wasn't spoiled but I could tell it wasn't fresh. The chips that came with the buffalo dip were unfortunately stale. That said, the others who came with us ordered smash burgers and they thought they were pretty good. The service was friendly and food was brought out quickly. The mini golf course was an enjoyable experience. On a Tuesday night, there were groups of people there but the place was empty enough that we moved from course to course pretty quickly just waiting for one party ahead of us each time. We went on a Friday night about 6 PM it wasn't to busy at that time. We decided to eat first. I thought the food was going to average but everything was soooo good! My whole family agreed we would go back just to eat. The service was good & their tables are easy to move if you need a variety of party sizes. Golfing was fun. It was a really long course or at least seemed much longer then most putt putt places in DFW. Which was nice because you feel like you get your money worth. My complaint is that there is no spacing so you're always waiting on someone else. Then they haven't exactly perfected the entry, so there were teenagers who definitely didn't pay jumping in randomly to try to get around staff. Which then backs things up more. The families started doing it too. There was no consideration for people already waiting in line & they just jumped around wherever they wanted. We didn't want to get into a confrontation during our outing so we just let it happened but it's pretty frustrating & wish employees would manage this better. Luckily we went when weather was perfect so we had an amazing time. I'm not sure how much we'd enjoy the venue in the Texas heat or on a chilly winter day. Even with some of the golfing hiccups, I would suggest trying it out & make sure you have time to stay for several hours to really enjoy all of it. read more

OK, here's the thing. This is a well design well-thought-out very quality mini golf course. You'll love the playing the field 36 holes of fun practice areas they have balls they have clubs everything you need fun place for group activity I can imagine in the middle of summer could be quite toasty, but they have all the drinks you could imagine full bar and big places to just hang out in the shade after the game. Once the trees a little better it might even be OK when it's hot out but beware if it's over 80° it's gonna be warm. The food was a good menu but not the quality you'd expect for the dollars but either way be prepared to pay or just need ahead of time fun place with great service. read more

I used to go when this was Fireside Surf, so I was really bummed when it closed for about a year. That is why I am especially happy to see it back open now as PopStroke Surf Lounge. The best part is that it feels much more flexible, relaxed, and accessible than before. I joined the membership pretty quickly after reopening, and I am so glad I did. The surf lounge is awesome, there is already a great group of members, and it is a really fun social environment. It also works so well with everything else PopStroke offers, like golf, outdoor dining, drinks, and just a great overall vibe. Ryan Holmes, the surf manager, deserves a big shoutout. He is an awesome instructor and does a great job making the whole experience fun and welcoming. Whether you want to surf yourself or just come hang out, watch the surfers, eat, drink, golf, and enjoy the ambiance, this place is a great time. 2024 Yelp 100 Challenge - #34 A great date night min golf space offering all day play for a set price. Two course options ranging from medium too difficult. Players get to pick which course they play and can continue playing until the end of the day. I visited during June and it quickly got spicy outside. I enjoyed the complementary towels to help keep you cool and they fans and misters throughout. Three bars, two of them indoor with delicious food options to enjoy. Drinks can be ordered on the course if you download their app. I visited earlier in the day and had no trouble hopping between courses, however I can see how during peak times holes can become easily congested. Came here with a couple friends recently and it was fun. The courses are challenging but we enjoyed it. They have a full bar and a place to set your drink at most holes. They have a few screens around the course that were showing ESPN, but would be cool if you go when a game was playing. It's a little pricey, but we will definitely be back. read more

Stopped by Pop Stroke on a drizzly Sunday in November as part of a private event and really enjoyed wandering through the space. I didn't end up playing a round of mini golf but the drink and food I ordered were both great and the staff was super attentive during the whole event. The burger sliders were not bad, but the chicken tenders were super dry. Definitely loved the tuna poke nachos though! I walked around after eating and the courses are well marked and look like a lot of fun, though it was a bit unfortunate that the kid area was super wet because of the aforementioned drizzling. My husband loves mini golf so we'll probably make it out for real at some point! read more

We came to putt and have some drinks with friends after dinner for my boyfriends birthday. Thinking we had plenty of time at just before 10pm because even the doors on the business say it closes at 11pm (it's a Monday night). You might want to know ahead of time to not let their hours fool you. They stop golf an hour before they close. We got turned away. With guests who drove two hours to spend the evening with us. I feel terrible - maybe I'll find out I should have looked through reviews and not wasted the walk over there and planned something else for us to do. I'd just assume an hour was enough time to play and leave. Pretty bummed for everyone. read more

A hot mess! The service was super slow and we were first told they only served bottled water and to buy it up front but then after entering the area saw multiple water stations. It seemed like they just wanted our $4 for a bottle of water, after paying $30/person just to enter. The courses weren't unique and there was no shade to be found. They had fans going but shade is much needed to play in Texas summer weather! The course was also super busy and had absolutely no monitoring. There were groups of 8-12 on the course and multiple holes with waits. There is no way to make a reservation or staff to separate the groups. Finally, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING! There were puddles and paper all over the floor. I was shocked no staff attended to this and there were only two individual stalls for the crowded area. Hoping they can improve over time. read more

Had a lot of fun with the putt putt golf. Courses seemed to be challenging while still being easy enough for any skill level. They offer a variety of club sizes and will bring drinks to you while you play. We decided to purchase a day pass which seemed the most cost efficient option. You could easily spend a whole day here since they offer food, drinks, several TVs with sports playing while you golf. Some down sides to the course were the gaps between the fencing and no extra balls around tue course so if you lost your ball you just had to go back up front and get another sometimes losing your spot or having people wait on you. Wait times can be excessive and since it is outdoors in texas, it can get very hot! Wish it was covered or climate controlled. It seems small enough that a roof could achievable. Came here on a Friday evening for date nite and it was just a bit overwhelming.. from Parking to long waits can be exhausting. Grandscape area is just growing out of control and booming which is good but, I wish I had came during the week during off peak hours. Good thing is you can get 20% off if you come 2 hours before closing. There was about an hour wait for golfing. Decided to hang out in the dining area which had a bar and decent sized seating area. The food was pretty good, had the bean burger & my lady had the turkey burger. Avoided the alcohol, although the menu had plenty to choose. There was also corn hole, foos ball and other games etc.. Date nite here can quickly get pricey depending on the time of day & of course weekends when the Grandscape area is just overwhelming busy. Yup it's pricey for a casual mini golfer and others are in agreement. All you can play golf at least for $40. You get a souvenir golf ball, which is cool but most people aren't going to do anything with it. Wonder how this pricing might change in the future... Realistically you do 2 rounds at most. Still pretty new. It was busy on a weeknight. 2 courses: one hard and one easier. You have to keep score on your own (unlike Puttshack.) Luckily didn't have to wait too long to start. And never felt like we had to wait for the people before us. It can definitely get hot with the sun exposure though. They can bring drinks out to you via the app I believe. It's right next to Fireside Surf, so there are some holes where you can see some of the action. Both restaurant rooms were rented out for private parties, so that left the restaurant seating area with a 45 minute wait. Ha... given the abundance of restaurants in the Grandscape area, people are not going to wait that long for bar food... I get it though - the private room rentals are probably worth more to the business than a few tables that eat in. Would recommend to check out once the hype dies down and see if there are any specials they roll out cause the price is a bit steep. read more

Had a blast! The front desk helped guide what to do for first timers, they ask you to download the app to pay in advance but it is optional but it skips the step in paying at the desk. We went on a Sunday at noon. It wasn't crazy busy but it was filling up. You had two choices black for family friendly or beginners and blu course for my intermediate and up there were more hills and curves. Both course tickets are unlimited play for the day, It was $40/day for each person. You can order drinks while you play and they walk it up to you, they had misters and fans, they had benches and you can sit on the Astro turf the course went fairly quick it took about hour and half to complete the 18 hole course. It's fun and a good time, but it's expensive. There's no reason putt putt should cost this much nor the food. The service could be better, because you're paying for it. It's a fun place when the weather is nice and a cool place to kind of watch a game, have fun for an hour and have a beer.
