I've be come to Pinocchio's for the last 30 years and never have I been disappointed in the service or the food.

Great food, nice owners, ambiance is cozy and warm and smell like good Italian food. The owners give Vetarans a free meal on Vetarans Day and my Dad is a Vetaran and the owner came by to thank him and get acquainted. It meant a lot to my Dad. read more

We were greeted by a nice young lady.We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken & Pasta Bolognese (to go)The Fettuccine was very creamy and delicious,I highly recommend it.The Pasta Bolognese was alright(I had better). The restaurant was really nice. It seemed like a "Pinocchio" museum with all the Pinocchio memorabilia. I would have to try the other food on the menu(especially the sandwiches) to really recommend this place but if you love anything about Pinocchio then this is the place for you. read more

The pasta was out of box and the sauce was out of a can, it was very boring and anyone could make this at home. I wasn't necessarily expecting hand rolled pasta, but still. I liked my sandwich and would come back for that. The side salad was tiny and expensive. Good italian beers. read more

It's not really a bargain, but it is good. I've tried the chicken parmigiana. It seems to come with fresh bread that is excellent. I've also had the roast beef ai jus. Portions were also large. The ambiance is only so so. The service is good and friendly if not exceedingly rapid. You might not make it back to work on time if you go there for lunch read more

We love Pinocchio's for their lasagnas - Rosa and Blanca. The Rosa has wonderful meatballs and the Blanca has a very tasty spinach, chicken and cheese sauce - all made from scratch. The flavors are incredible, the pasta tastes so fresh. We come here often and it tastes amazing each time. We usually order to go - they are very generous with the portion size! Let's all agree Pinocchio's needs to have the 10 stars rating!! Staff and food is absolutely amazing. If you're there and you see Papa Joe, your kids might get an ice pop brought over too. The OG is the Pinocchio or double your meat and go with the Cricket. But my all time go to sandwich is "The Dewey". Never skip on the peppers and onions on any sandwich though. If the best local family ran restaurant in the tri county. They also will help make any gathering easy because they cater as well!! read more

I was limited to what I was able to eat here due to my food intolerances/ allergies. The waitress helped me figure out what I could eat and it was really good. I was impressed with the service especially since I have a limited ingredient diet, the waitress really listened and took her time with my order. Came in here July 12 for lunch. This place was recommended buy a buddy of mine that used to live in the area. Walked in this place look very nostalgic. Was greeted right away. I tried to special shrimp Louie, they substituted 1000 Island dressing because they were out of the original dressing they use on it which is fine. Tried the asparagus mushroom soup, that was delicious and quite interesting flavor. Haley was super nice, very attentive even though she was not my server. Great personality. I need to come back and try either sandwiches, because that's what they are known for. I just wasn't that hungry that day. Thank you for the great service. My server overheard one of my friends FaceTime in me to wish me happy birthday, the word got out to Haily, and she offered me dessert. My only complaint is that the shrimp Louie salad looked a little plain and it tasted bland. read more

The customer service was top notch! Our waitress was so kind and offered some great suggestions. She checked on us to make sure we had everything we need and that everything tasted good. The food was amazing. My mom and I split a meal and still took home leftovers. Their meatballs are huge and had so much flavor. The price point was affordable. The taste of nostalgia! I love going into Pinocchio's every time I come back home to Sonora. Such an awesome family owned mom & pop spot and it's always the same good quality food. I always get the full size "cricket" hot sandwich with extra peppers and onions and two sides of meat sauce to dip every bite in. The sandwich is huge and perfect for 2 meals. This was our first time at this restaurant last Saturday. The food was very good and the service was excellent. All the waitresses very friendly. The portions work quite big looking around on the walls all the Italian and Sicilian pictures and things like that. I came in from Los Angeles specifically for The Cricket sandwich. This the place that we used to frequent on a regular basis when they were located in Cerritos, CA. That was more than 20 years ago! It is exactly as I remember. I just stocked up on 6 large Cricket sammies, have purchased dry ice to freeze them and entertain my family with the nostalgic taste of The Cricket sandwich when I get home on Tuesday. 6 hour drive just to get a sandwich, I might come back next weekend! This place hasn't changed a bit. It was called Anthony's in Cerritos, but no matter what it's named, the baked sandwiches on the toasted sesame seed rolls are by far the most delicious and simplest sandwiches ever made. Get a side of marinara sauce to dip your sandwich, you won't regret it. Excellent food with amazing flavor! Portions are NOT generous at all however. I ordered the beef raviolis and my husband ordered the lasagna. I added on two meatballs (one for each of us) and the Sicilian sausage soup. It came with six pieces of bread and I ate two which is the only reason that I was full after all the food was gone. Not stuffed or uncomfortable, just full. I had the gelato for dessert. All the food came to just under $48. If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would have as I felt the portions needed to be at least at tad bigger to be a five star. Also the garlic bread left a lot to be desired. I recommend they change the name of it from garlic bread to buttered toasted sourdough. I could not taste any garlic at all in the bread. I could only taste the sourdough flavor in the bread. read more
