After our last (not so good visit) to Pinnacle Peak steakhouse in 2022 we recieved a gift card in the mail offering a free dinner entrees for two people. Drinks not included. Therefore, after some time we decided to try our luck again. We presented the gift card to our waitress as the card instructed but she didn't recognize what it was so she had to take it to management to make sure it was valid. After it was validated we definitely saw a step up in service versus what we got before. Our food was brought out promptly, very little waiting, and we were constantly being checked on. Since the meal was free I decided to order the full rack of ribs and my boyfriend ordered the shredded beef plate with BBQ sauce. We also got 2 side salads and the usual beans and Texas toast. Overall our second experience definitely was better than the first time around. However the food itself was still not great. The beans, just like last time lacked flavor and the toast seemed a bit stale. The ribs were on the fattier side so a lot of it ended up getting tossed since it was all fat. My boyfriend said he did enjoy his shredded beef and extra side of sauteed mushrooms. I can't find one thing to ding on this place so it earned my 5 star level! PROs: Parking was easy. Staff was polite and knowledge. We were seated with waters on the table within 2 mins of walking in the door. Decor was awesome, it has that late 1800s boom town western feel-which it nails! We shared a pitcher of Sangria, not the best I've ever had but defiantly wasn't poured out of a box or pre-made bottle. The salad came within 2 mins of ordering and we had our main courses within 5 mins of ordering. Brought the whole family here after graduation. It's a perfect place to bring a large group and kids. The service was quick. They bring out bread to start. Nothing out of the ordinary with the bread. It was just a thick Texas toast with a side of butter. We order 2 steaks and a rack of ribs. We honestly could've got one order of steak instead of two because the portions were large. For the value and the ambience This is a good place to eat some steak.I can't say that it was the greatest best steak that I have ever eaten but nevertheless I enjoyed it thoroughly. Went here for dinner with the extended family before seeing the Wild West show. It was so nostalgic - salads included with the meals and big red cups for water. I really enjoyed my dinner! Steak was tasty and perfectly cooked. Baked potato was large and also perfectly cooked. The unexpected star was the apple cobbler - usually cobblers have a biscuit like soft topping but this was crunchy and tasty like broken cookies. YUM! I'm in town for a conference and was looking for a different place to try. I love bbq, so I ventured over to check it out. The restaurant is tucked in the back of a western themed town. There was a train ride and events happening, plus other businesses open too, however I only stopped at the steakhouse. The theme is western, so everyone is dressed in cowboy gear and it's a fun vibe. Service was perfect and staff is super friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is average and I was expecting something more authentic and unique. The beans were good though. I ordered the sliced brisket and it tasted like roast beef, which was fine, just not what I was expecting. I ate most of the food and took the rest back for leftovers. I think it's a unique place to go for the ambiance and would consider trying the steak next time to see if that has a more interesting flavor. read more

Tried Pinnacle Peak a few days ago. This is a pretty cool place, and it is located around several other stores and attractions. The wait to get in was pretty short, which was great. The server was great and very attentive. Since I'm on this kick of trying to find the best place for a ribeye, I, of course, ordered a medium-rare ribeye, salad, and baked potato. Our orders arrived quickly, and everything was just as ordered. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. I was able to cut through the steak with complete ease, and best of all, it had the best flavor of any ribeye I have ever eaten to date. The baked potato was extremely hot and perfectly cooked. All I had to do was add butter, sour cream, and pepper. The price of the ribeye was very reasonable, especially compared to another restaurant we went to to try their ribeye, which was very overpriced, as much as a two pound porterhouse and not quite as good. , If you are in the area of Pinnacle Peaks, I would strongly recommend that you try their food. We are struggling with food poison currently. My sister in laws steak smelled sour and rotten. We told our server and she said she thought it smelled funny when she was bringing it out. YELP REVIEW Food Quality: 4.25/5. I am not a fan of fake butter, which unfortunately means I didn't quite enjoy the baked potato or the bread, however a steak house is about the steak. For starters, the big cowboy was over a pound of meat. Both of the steaks were both served rare (we asked for rare and medium rare). Steaks were inconsistent and not seasoned, and the beans were undercooked. Pretty sure the mac and cheese is just Stouffers disguised as home made which is fine with me. The bread was good. The chicken and green beans were good. The cobbler had a weird consistency that tells me the fruit part (or quite possibly all of it) came out of a can. I was a little embarrassed because I picked this place to bring my manager who lives in Texas and my friend who drove from Chandler to a place I thought would give them a great steakhouse experience and we got the opposite. I also brought my sister who had the same lukewarm experience 15 years ago and she was disappointed not much had changed. Props to our waiter, he was nice and attentive. So - used to LOVE this place - but not what it once was. As a local, we went often, took guests, enjoyed the "outlaw" tie wearers, and the well cooked steak. Steaks - and we had 3 different cuts - were all fatty. Beans were runny- too runny. Bread was hard - good for the teething baby, but not the rest of us. So disappointed. Pinnacle peak is a unique and fun experience. Is it a world class restaurant? No. A top tier steakhouse? Also no. But it serves a decent, well priced meal within a old west experience that is worth the price of admission. Tucked in the middle of trail dust town pinnacle peak steakhouse has a waitstaff that go by famous old west monikers and dress in the garb to match. It offers a fairly limited menu but based on our experience does a good job of preparing what they do serve. The ceiling is lined with cutoff neck ties (if you are interested in why, wear one and find out) and they serve a full course meal. (Salad, entree, and desert) If you come around 7:00PM and 8:00 PM you can catch the gunfight show for an additional $7 outside of the steakhouse. Also there is a general store, magic shop, candy shop, and saloon you can visit. TL:DR. A GOOD, but not great, reasonably priced steakhouse wrapped in a unique Wild West experience worth visiting. read more

We have been here a couple times. Overall we had pretty good service. The waiter kept up with our decently large party and our drink orders. The salmon was a little more peppered than we would have anticipated which kind of changed the flavor and the fish wasn't as flaky as we would have hoped. The steaks were good (not pictured). The Pinnacle Peak Steak House has some of the best T Bone steaks I have ever had. The pinto beans are sometime amazing with the tasty blend of herbs. However, sometimes it seems that the chefs either do not spend enough time on getting the herbal blend correct or they just do not care. Either way, please try and make this consistent. Their corn tends to be coming from a source that has been previously frozen at least half the time. Please change to fresh corn. The green chili salsa used to be totally amazing 15 plus years ago. Now, it too tends to be inconsistent in its quality, as well. Then, as if this was not enough, we had a nightmare meal at the restaurant around February of 2023. When I called the upper management of the company, they apologized and made everything good again, hence the 4 stars instead of something substantially less. read more

If you like kitsch and a good meal at a fair price then you'll be very happy here. My wife and I got the cowboy steak medium rare. Cooked to temp perfectly and well seasoned. I got the really big version and it was a giant 30 Oz Porterhouse with a big filet. Better than I expected. My wife got the smaller cut and it was more like a T-bone, not as good as the larger cut. Kids each got the kids steak and they were happy with it. Bill was 130.00 with a 20% tip, a beer, a soda, 2 adult entrees, and 2 kids meals.
