What? I haven't reviewed this place yet?!! This is my favorite pizza place in town. No one else can compare when it comes to Pink's pizza ingredients. My two favorite specialty pizzas are the Bada Bing (Prosciutto, Bacon, Pepperoni, Provolone, Mozzarella, Roma Tomato, Spinach and Mushroom w/ Our Delicious Pizza Sauce) and This Guy (Prosciutto, Italian Sausage, Rosemary Chicken, Goat Cheese, Mozzarella, Spinach, Mushroom, Tomato and Roasted Garlic w/ Our Delicious Pizza Sauce). I've tried the Luigi before but didn't really like it. The gorgonzola cheese was a little TOO stinky for me. The ingredients are always really fresh and their combinations of toppings are creative and gourmet. The crust is perfect. I'm not crazy about thin-crust, so I'm biased on this, but I feel like it's the perfect thickness with just the right amount of grease. The toppings and cheese don't slide off like a lame pizza either... they stay on. The sign of a good pizza to me. Friendly and quick service. We always pick up the pizza and their time estimates are right on. They have a few stools to sit on and watch TV while you wait for your pizza to be ready. The pizza here is really consistent. Here's the deal Pink's. I think your pizza is peachy keen, better than a sundae with a cherry on top in fact. The specialty pizzas are great, equally delicious is the simple make your own delicious round of heaven with your choice of toppings and a lovely dusting of complementary spices, garlic, and basil. I love ordering take out from Pink's. This location is just a few blocks from were I live, which is great. Every time I order from them, the pizza is always fresh and done on time. The specialty pizzas are awesome, Bada Bing, This Guy, Luna Moon, etc. If a little on the expensive side, but that is not an issue with me because the quality is top notch. I am more of a Chicago Deep Dish guy, but the hand tossed New York style, with all the crazy toppings, here is great. The prosciutto, feta, mozzarella, portabella mushrooms, and everything else is fresh as can be. A place I go to all the time, and would recommend. read more

The price seems crazy but it's worth it. Our go to take out pie in the Heights and we always stop for a pie at UH before football and basketball games. If you're looking for an American pie, not the wood fired Neapolitan pie that is currently so popular, this is the best place, outside of Luigi's, to get it in Houston. read more

After I reviewed Pink's and their 20% service charge (about which the staff in the store had shown no interest in doing anything about) the manager sent us gift certificates that I won't use because they can only be used in the store, and I am not planning on going back to the store (I was there in the first place only because the online delivery ordering system compelled me to pick up the pizza on which it had compelled me to pay a 20% service charge). I'll give the gift certificates to the needy, and a couple more stars to Pink's for making some effort. read more

By far the best pizza I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. From Italy to Brooklyn to Chicago, simply the best. What makes it the best is they've managed to make each pizza taste fresher than should be humanly possible. It's like they bake it with Black Magic or something. So I'm from Los Angeles but lived in Houston for about two years. For two long years I couldn't find one pizza joint that could make me say "WOW". That's very unfortunate because Houston has amazing food joints but the pizza right next to the Mexican food wasn't up to par. Pinks pizza was definitely as close as it got to a GREAT pizza ! Tried the Hawaii-O, it was pretty tasteless. The supposedly fantastic taste from the combo of melted cheese, ham & pineapple were totally missing. I had to sprinkle some of the dried chillies to spice it up but still doesnt help. So Yelpers, avoid this topping at all time! I remembered the good ole day of Shakey's Hawaiian Pizza... Still the redeeming side of my half-&-half was the Southwestern... Will try out Bada Bing next time with Southwestern again, just to play it safe! read more

Saw the reviews that people wrote regarding this small pizzeria in Houston and just needed to tried it. My first pizza that I ever had was in Los Angeles, CA when I was about 8-9 years old and love it, and until a year ago I love almost any type of pizza, my favorite at that time was pizza hut and Domino's. This all changed about a year ago when my Brothers and I took a trip to NY. I've heard the stories about the famous pizza in NY how they don't compare to anything else and how everyone that's tried it talk so bad about pizza hut/domino's. So we took the dive and tried that famous pizzas (and much more; hot-dogs, cheese cake) and our eyes (taste-buds) where open to what a real pizza should taste like. We where astonished with the quality of ingrindents/freshness that these pizza had to them. Never knew how good a pizza could be until we got to NY. Went back to LA and nothing compare to NY pizza (specifically Grimaldi's PIzza in Brooklyn). Ever since then it's very impossible to go back to pizza chain stores (pizza hut/dominoes). I We came to Houston about a year ago and about 4 months ago the craving for pizza was unbearable and we found a pizza chain store (NY Pizza in Willowbrook area) and went in the store expecting NY style pizza. As soon as I saw the day-old stale pizza over the heat lamp just walked out, there was no way i could eat that and ended up in Papa John's. The hope to find a great pizza in Houston seems impossible. That was until yesterday when I signed up for a Yelp account. Restaurant Review pointed to Pink's Pizza and saw some great reviews and how they compared to Grimalid's and had to tried. And I finally could say that there is a pizzeria in Houston that makes great pizza (close to NY as possible). Will never buy any pizza hut/domino/papa john again in Houston. read more

Just moved a block away from this place so I had to try it. I walked over to get a single slice for lunch. The price is pretty good for a giant slice of pizza. It took a couple minutes for them to cook it, but they were still fast and it was served to me piping hot and fresh. I really liked the taste, but like others have said, the crust is limp. I can get over it though because I like a thinner crust. This will probably become my go to for pizza! read more

Considering all the hype, I expected more from the pizza. It was just ok. The pepperoni itself was better than most, but the crust seemed soggy in the center of the pizza. Hidden Valley Ranch would have been better than the quasi ranch/blue cheese dressing they served with the pizza. read more

This is damn good pizza. Not too greasy. Great crust. Fresh ingredients. It's different. Not your typical Pizza hut/Papa's/Dominos... which is great! The pizzas can be a bit pricey, but you know what? It's damn good, and I'm willing to pay for it. I've had the Mediterranean, Santa Monica, Marie, and Lazy Lasagna. Loved the Mediterranean & Santa Monica, but the rest were good none the less. Give this place a try. If you can't pick it up, they deliver! Best pizza in town! Part of our criteria when buying a house was that it had to be in Pink's delivery radius. If you want the best pizza of your life order the This Guy and eat it at the store. I also love that they have gluten free crust, but man do I miss the real deal! Whenever I meet someone new I always ask them, Pinks, Fuzzys, or Star. My bf and I were house-hunting and to my excitement, I saw Pink's out of the corner of my eye. We stopped on our way back: the service was great and our pizza came out not even after 15 minutes! We got the Marie, and their hot wings. The wings are PHENOMENAL: the barbecue sauce hit the spot! The Marie, I was a bit underwhelmed, but it wasn't as greasy, and the dough had just the right bite. My bf was certainly enthusiastic about it; he hasn't tried Star and I told him not to bother now that he's had Pink's. Heck, Pink's even has pizza insurance! Maybe next time, Pink's can have more tables. Then again, they cater more for delivery/take-out than sit-down. I can't wait for the West Gray location to open. read more

We had Pink's delivered to us 9/13/2015. We ordered pepperoni and jalapeño! Geese it was soooo good! I loved every bite! I love spicy food and it was like the jalapeño was mixed in with the sauce or something becuase every bite was spicy! But I love it! I definitely will be eat there again read more

I've never found them to be on time or even reasonably close to their quoted time. If you want to eat here, you're in for a treat but pick it up yourself. Their operations are a train wreck! I really wish I had never been told about Pink's Pizza....some of the best (if not the best) pizza in Houston. They have great combinations of flavors that I have actually stolen myself to use on home-made pizzas. In a nut shell: they rock. My favorite is Luigi. i have to say that their pizza is pretty good but maybe i don't see what all the hype is about. i enjoy a good pizza but i felt that it could have been cooked a little longer to get a crispier crunch to the bite. but also i think that i was disappointed the fact that it was so expensive for a pizza. it has a great taste but i think i'd rather get a costco pizza just simply because you get a good pizza for a great price. if it wasn't so expensive i think i'd enjoy the pizza more. but it's off my list of 'wanna try' read more

Based on the reviews, I had high hopes for Pink's Pizza. Unforunately, I was left underwhelmed. The crust is excellent - the right thickness for hand tossed pizza. Sadly, the sauce lacked flavor and was a bit too sweet for my taste - though I did enjoy the hearty pieces of tomato. Gourmet deliciousness!! It was hot, fast & ready!! I orderd 'The Big sleep' pizza With Gluten Free dough, (vegetarian-style) no chicken, with extra mushrooms & cheese, and it was totally awesome!! It has spinach, garlic, & feta, with a yummy light tomato sauce! I was so impressed with the fact that they blew off the no exceptions stated on their online menu & catered to my taste! It was happiness on my taste buds! Being restricted to Gluten Free, and having to also recently go vegetarian for health reasons there are few & rare the fast food restaurant that I am able to partake of! First and last time ordering from the Heights Pinks. Called three times before anyone even answered the phone. That should have been my hint to try someplace else. Ordered bacon cheese sticks and salad with chicken, sun dried tomatoes and red peppers. Bacon cheese sticks were burnt, and the salad had onions, black olives and regular tomatoes. I tried to call back to let someone know of my disappointment, and big shocker, nobody answered. guess I'll choose with my wallet and go elsewhere next time, all done with Pinks. read more

floppy, undercooked thin pizza (ie. thin pizza dough ought to be cooked through). the ingredients were obviously great and fresh, and the sandwich was decent, but the pizza was a real miss. the caesar salad was cleary prepped with mass-quantity-produced sysco style dressing and croutons, and was really quite lame. i did get delivery, but that shouldn't effect the quality of the caesar salad or the the cooking of the pizza. something clearly went awry here, or perhaps all the great reviews are bogus. i'll order from star or whatever next time. truth be told, the pizza was actually borderline gross. kinda pissed, being that this is a pizza place serving up shitty pizza. read more
