In dire need of a quick pizza before the Cardinals/Packers playoff game, I ventured to Pink's Pizza to forget about the world and indulge in my cravings--and Pink's did not disappoint. Although I ordered my pizza to-go, their small little restaurant just one and a half blocks north of Washington looked cozy, comfy, and perfect for game-day location of any sport (they serve beer and wine, which helps their cause a lot!). As far as pizza goes, I ordered the 12-inch Big Boss--a meat lover's delight with a layer of sausage UNDERNEATH the cheese, just for comfort--and I devoured 5 of the 6 slices without hesitation. The Big Boss is definitely THE big boss of pizzas here. A $16.99 price tag is pretty high for a personal-sized 12 inch, so be wary if you're looking for the next best bang-for-your-buck location. However, if you're looking to venture outside of the typical Dominos/Pizza Hut for a few extra bucks, it's worth it. I'm looking forward to my next visit to see what else this place has to offer. read more

With experience of eating pizza in NYC and New Haven, I know exactly what the best pizza in the country means. Having lived in the MidWest, I can also say I'm not a fan of deep dish. Also, I can say I'm not a fan of the most of the Mid West's interpretation of a pie. That being said... I have not tried many places in Houston yet for pizza. However, I have gone to Pink's several times for take out and I gotta say, it's fast, convenient, and is just about right. It's not the best most amazing pizza in the world. But the sauce has some good flavor to it, the cheese is just enough and well melted, and for being cooked in a conveyer belt pizza (just saying this seems so wrong), it's cooked okay. For now, I have gone simple with just Pepperoni. I haven't gone with their suggestions on the menu just yet. $17 bucks is on the verge of being too expensive for my taste for a large single topping pie that have rather small slices. Very upset and I'll never order from this place again. I ordered before 9:00 pm (email confirmation arrived at 8:55) for delivery on a Tuesday and the pizza never arrived. When I called the answering machine said the store was closed. They did not deliver my pizza I payed for online and they didn't even have the decency to call me and say they wouldn't or couldn't. They could care less about you. There are a dozen places around here that would have at least bothered to call you and let you know they weren't going to show up. read more

Horrible delivery. I'm within walking distance and it's been over an hour since I made my order. I'd be surprised if it's even warm. I'm sad to have to give 1 star. UPDATE: It finally came. Driver called over an hour later saying they had the wrong address. It really took an hour to figure that out? What a joke. The pizza was cold - I can't even say much about the taste. Highly disappointed in this place, unreliable, and sub-par pie. Final Update: They reached out and offered a free pie. When I took them up on it, everything went well. Being a fan of pizza, thought I check this place out since we were at Taps House of Beers which is literally next door (Taps is on the next street over). We ordered two large pizzas (1. Jalapeños, onions and garlic 2. Roasted red peppers, olives and jalapeños). We asked it to be delivered and figured it would be about 30 mins for the pizzas. We had to call them twice to ask about our pizza which first they said it would be another 20 mins (we had already waited 40 mins from the time we placed the order). Then we called 30 mins later and were told the pizza was out on delivery. The pizzas didn't arrive till another 20 mins had gone by. Pizzas were cold (the pizzas didn't even arrive in a warmer bag thingie). The pizza sauce is on the sweeter side which throws off the flavor of the pizza. When I had gone over to them to pick up a menu, the cashier guy was telling me they are the only location that delivers. I think they should not delivery at all considering it takes them over 90 mins to make two pizzas and have them delivered to a place that is 100 feet away from them. I'm such a fan of Pinks!!! I think it might be my most favorite pizza in Houston. I'm glad they don't deliver to my part of town, because I would be ordering way too often. With that being said, why the 4 stars? The 4 stars are for this specific location. Although the food is beyond delicious, customer service is terrible. This location is exceptionally small and has limited seating and bar space. Every time my boyfriend and I have visited this Pink's, it takes forever for anyone to notice us or take our order. Pink's has always been my boyfriend and I's Sunday ritual, but ever since Julia started taking our orders, something is always wrong. The first time - no pizza existed, second time - she said "i'll call you when it's ready" while I was staring at it behind her. Who knows how long I would have waited if I didn't say something. Third time - she hands my bf a small instead of the large I ordered. I literally warned him to be careful with her because something would probably be wrong. Ugh, Julia :( Get it together. "Yay! I'm a fan." 3.5 stars, rounded up to compensate for the special kid that thinks Yelp has hashtags. I ran in for a quick lunch today. I was glad to see that they have a bar and a few tables for in-store eating. Cute decor with painted chairs and a slight industrial look. I got two custom slices (3.50/slice + .50/topping). I love that they do this. Great idea. The ingredients were ample and delicious. My one complaint has to be the crust. The tip of the crust was soggy and got to the correct hardness as I ate more, but those first few inches need some work. This made it more difficult to eat and wasn't appetizing. At least it got better with each bite so I ended on a happier note. I also got the cheese sticks and I loved them. They came with one sauce, when they really need 2-3. I got out some spaghetti sauce to finish them off, but the marinara they came with was much more tasty. Wish it came with more. Yummy pizza that needs a little work on the crust and more yummy sauce. Great for delivery and dine in! If your dining alone, they have a big slice option for $3.50 + 50c per topping - get the Italian sausage! So flavorful, but they only give you a few pieces :/ overall, I prefer the specialty pizzas which end up being more flavorful. They have a variety of beers to enjoy with your dinner as well. When their pizza is hot, the toppings always slide right off and the crust gets soggy. When dining in, the sad excuse of a paper plate they give you and the terrible service make me think they only want delivery/carry-out business. 2 stars because the flavor is pretty good, but there are so many pizza joints in Houston that are better than Pinks. read more

We had never eaten Pinks before. We were visiting and wanted pizza. We called a two minutes after delivery cut off time and they took our order anyway. It arrived hot and exactly as ordered. The wings were good also. The delivery guy was very nice and friendly. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of sauce. I like sauce and there was not much there. Ordered an Italian sausage and mushroom pizza last night. The flavor was very good and we liked the crust. The marinara sauce on the side was a great idea. The only downside was that the toppings were quite sparse-unlike the many photos on Yelp. Maybe they just had a bad night or were in a hurry. We will try them again. read more

First time ordering from here through DoorDash. Ease of ordering and delivery was great. I ordered two Greek salads and a cheesecake. Salads had very little dressing and the extra dressing I requested and paid for was the wrong dressing for the salad. It was also missing the feta cheese. Since this was a delivery to my job it also would have been nice if they had provided utensils and napkins. Will probably try again but order pizza. read more

I told manager it needed to be comped which he did.Others came in after my group and was served their food. I will NEVER go back. So, the pizza is REALLY great. One of my favorites thus far I think. It is full of flavor and not greasy at all. I think that is so hard to master for pizzas. I love the ample vegetables they put on there as my toppings for the veggie pizza. It's really difficult to find a good vegetarian pizza! Even better, it's still delicious reheated! However, I would hope that they improve on their delivery. I live less than 3 minutes away, and their delivery estimated 45 minutes and ended up taking 75 minutes. My boyfriend and I live about 5 minutes away from here so we order pretty regularly from this place. We love thin crust and Pink's does it just right. Big Boss and Supremo are our favorites. Delivery has been a huge miss for us - one time they took 1.5 hours and one time they lost our order so we decided we would pick up from now on. There's only about 5 parking spots in front of the shop but you can usually find something to quickly pop in and out. When you walk in, you can see why some orders get lost because the guy that's manning the cash register is also the one that takes the phone orders coming in. Just had the Freshetta pizza and Hawaii50 pizza. I must saw Awesome!!! Wow! The Freshetta pizza was bursting with so much flavor and the crust was chewy, doughy and good. The Hawaii50 was good as well but man... The Freshetta was the best! We picked up the pizza and brought it home, I am impressed. Thanks to Pink's Pizza for the amazing customer service over the phone! I was with a large group of friends, who were all starving at this new local bar down the street (Spring Street Beer and Wine Garden) that doesn't serve any food (no food trucks due to bad weather). Called a few pizza places, but none delivered to our location. When I called, they delivered, provided me with recommendations, were very courteous, and answered my questions being a new customer. Got 2 large pizzas (1st- half cheese / half Hawaiian, 2nd- half Bada-bing / half Classic w/chicken). My party was very satisfied with the quality of pizza, and delivery time was slightly under the estimated too! (Est 45-1hr, but got to the bar in 35-40mins) The only reason I couldn't give 5-star is bc the initial price was kinda expensive (orig $50, but then got a $10 discount!).
