Pizza Zquare is in the Finn Food Hall. It's on the ground hall and is essentially in the same vein as Mod and Blaze. BYO small pizzas that pack flavor and zeal in small sizes. I'm in Houston for a conference, and this was on my way back to the hotel. The service was pretty quick and friendly. Price was approximately $11-12 for the personal size. That being said, it was not tiny tiny. I enjoyed it, and my 10 scale rating is 8.4/10. I bumped it to 5/5, because the lady was nice when taking my order. Come check out the Finn Food Hall. A little cold due to the delivery driver getting stopped by a train but overall the pizza even cold was good. Months and months go by and I stumbled across another place, also located in Finn Hall, that I wanted to try. So off I went. We walk in and Finn Hall is literally a ghost town. Pizza Zquare. Husband and I decided to split a 14" BYO with pepperoni, mozzarella, cheddar and mushrooms. The guy behind the counter was super nice. My pizza came out a little darker then I prefer my pizza to look, so I was concerned that it wasn't going to taste great. Thankfully, it did taste good! Was it the best I have had in the area, definitely not, but it was a good, solid choice. Delicious!! I love the option for a personal size! The service was quick and everything tasted fresh. We LOVED our pizzas!! We got the green pesto pizza and added chicken, and the Buffalo pizza. I went to Pizza Zquare for an impromptu dinner and was very happy. I went with the personal square pie, and it was a perfect pizza. The pesto flavor was exceptionally fresh tasting with basil flavor, creamy cheese and a nice garlicky finish. You can definitely tell that everything is done in-house and with care. read more

Came here on my lunch bc it's close to my place of work. Don't believe the Instagram hype. It's not all that. I go out of my way to just come here. The staff was extremely friendly when it came to taking my order and they prepared it quickly. The pizza was ok. I asked for extra pepperoni, the pepperoni was good but I thought the pizza could have used more cheese and sauce. You get to pick your toppings... for a personal size it was $10 bucks. Went here for my pre Houston marathon dinner was not disappointed. The pizza is made with love and you get to pick whatever toppings you want. I also ordered the cheesecake which was absolutely delicious and powered me to a PR. If I'm ever back in Houston, I would go back to this place in a heartbeat. read more

Food was really good here and the there was only one person but he was patient, never got flustered and was friendly. I believe Good service makes the food taste a bit better. The food was 8 out of 10 for me. The ingredients were fresh which makes a big difference when cooking. If I'm in the neighborhood I will be back. There was some kind of event going on so there were lots of vendors selling their items. There was a dJ and it made the ambience pretty cool. Parking downtown is crazy expensive in the parking garages; $10 per half hour. OMG! This place is amazing! Just went there today as a recommendation from our hotel at JW Houston. The owner was so nice! He personally made the pizza with care! But Pizza Zquare should be able to tell Grubhub not to accept orders on days they're going to be closed. That makes the customer have to call Grubhub and sit in the phone to get a refund.
