We were hanging out in Houston this past weekend and we had a late night craving for pizza. I went on Yelp to find a pizza joint and Pink's had decent reviews so we decided to give them a try. We ordered deliver through another delivery service and they pizza came fairly quickly. We couldn't decide which pizzas to get so we ordered a Half and Half (Rocko Pizza and Double Down Pizza). It was the perfect combination of yin and yang! The Rocko is savory and meaty while the Double Down is creamy and garlicky. No one ingredient overpowers the others so you can taste it all. From the red onions and Italian sausage to the rosemary chicken and spinach, all of the ingredients were front and center and ready for an all-night dance party in your mouth! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with just the right amount of chew. Overall, the pizza is great and I can't wait to make another trip down to Houston to grab another slice in the actual store! read more

The guy I asked responded that they were out of parm but had pepper. So I took the pepper no bug deal. Ten min later a lady at another table goes up to counter and asks for parm and the lady goes to the back. Grabs a bucket and scoops it into a ramekin. Not going to lie. Was a little irritated. Basically the guy I asked Parmesan from was just being to lazy to scoop some Parmesan into a ramekin and give it to me. Pretty lazy employee. Now second time I went to counter to get a topo. I actually ordered from a different girl at the counter. I pay. She walks off. Ugh hello??? We're you planning on giving me my topo?? Few minutes later she sees me standing there still and remembers she didn't give me the topo. Hands it to me. Doesn't say anything. I asked politely if she had an opener. I'll get a cup of water" AND THE GUY SAID YES!!! Please keep in mind that my friends and I were there for almost an hour, bought food and beers, and this girl was in for about 30 seconds and didn't even get the damn water. When I arrived to the restaurant about 35 minutes later, the employee told me that it was still in the oven and to give them 3 more minutes. I waited another 10 minutes before I asked another employee, who told me it was still in the oven and to give them another 5 minutes. When I explained to him that had already been waiting over 45 minutes, he walked over to the manager and then they both walked over to the oven. I then saw them whisper something to each other. Apparently they had not even started on the order. I told the employee not to worry about making it and I left the establishment. I sent an email describing this incident and my disappointment, to the email address listed on their webpage for comments. I left my name, phone number, and email. The most disappointing thing about the whole experience is that- it has been about a month since I sent the email and I still have yet to receive a response. I will never order from Pink's Pizza again due to their lack of customer service and concern. Always so good, so many choices and never disappointing. Love the fact that they have huge slices and they also offer their pizza by slice! The personal slice is big enough that you'll definitely get your fill even though by the end you feel like you want more---which you do. I've tried majority of the choices and they're all top notch so order what your tummy is telling you at the time. There is a small parking lot in front of it. The actual location is in the back of the building but it's definitely easy to find. You can't miss the huge Pink's neon sign.
