Pinks pizza is definitely some good pizza. This location is pretty small compared to the one at the University of Houston. It was really hot in there and pretty uncomfortable. I do love the area where it's at, but considering all the places around it, I wouldn't be back to this location. read more

Pizza Pizza Pizza! I love pizza. It really is a perfect food in my humble opinion. It can be breakfasted, lunched, dinnered and even desserted. Pizza is the one! Pink's pizza represents the best of what pizza can be. Their sauce is tomatoey and smoky and garlicky goodness (I swear my mouth just watered thinking about it). Their crust is thin and crispy but sturdy enough to support their generous toppings. The interior of this Pink's pizza is great with art work from Carlos Hernandez. The interior has a bit of an industrial feel while still feeling inviting and not cold at all. They have a decent beer selection with a variety of locally curated beers. Their wine by the bottle selection is also pretty decent but they could improve their by the glass offerings. This pink's location does deliver. I am not sure if they all do. They have a couple of TVs. Plus they are in walking distance to several local bars. read more

Pink's on Washington is right around the corner at work so I got some takeout. Unlike most pizza places, it's pretty nice inside and they even have craft beer on tap so not a bad place to dine in. We went with a 16"pizza, half cheese and half Double Down (grilled chicken, roasted tomatoes, spinach, and alfredo sauce). I like that they were able to split the pizza even though it had two different sauce bases. Cheese was solid as it is in most places. Really liked the Double Down and I'm not even a big fan of spinach. The alfredo sauce wasn't controlling but complemented the other ingredients well. Definitely a nice specialty pizza that's a little different. The only thing that I think could be improved is the crust. Not bad by any means but just a little dry. Being from NY i have been very picky in what i consider to be good pizza...and Pink's pizza is the bomb. I ordered "The Big Boss", comes with ham, pepperoni, sausage and bacon . We've been customers since they opened on West Gray location over 10 years ago. Unfortunately, the quality is going down while price going up. We ordered 3 large pepperoni pizzas last weekend, when got home, found most of the slices had 2 or less pieces of pepperoni. Unforgivably skimpy. Not the first time either. I ordered (2) slices of plain cheese & a toss salad. Nothing complicated or time consuming! Besides I was the ONLY patron in this establishment... I waited 12 mins. after placing my order & still no Food or Cold Salad. When I approached the counter to inquire about my order. The employees were carelessly occupied on their cell phones & NOT addressing my order. The lady I placed the order with Sprung into action as if she Suddenly realized I was still waiting & began making my salad. The manager (Oscar) acknowledged the frustration on my face! We also get the pepperoni and jalapeños because we like to keep it simple with a bit of flair. A plus to Pinks is that they sell growlers and deliver them to you! My only complaint is that the crust was a on the softer side and also the toppings sort of fell off with the cheese. The wings were alright. The wings are very wet and soft with little texture. Not all locations are made the same and I prefer the slices than the whole pizza as the crust tends to have more crunch to it. The interior of this Pink's has a handful of tables along with bar seating and TV's to enjoy a game or two! They have a variety of beers on tap and are willing to let you sample some to test them out before you buy. I've had some of their specialty pizzas including the Rocko, Luna Moon, and Bada bing which are all solid choices but feel the amount of toppings on the pizza weighs down the crust leading to a mess. The slices are $3.50 w/.50 cents for each additional topping and 1 slices is enough to fill me up. Definitely try Pink's if you haven't! read more

They have beers on tap to sip while waiting for your pizza. You can also order by the slice, which seemed to be a nice option for many passing through. I had the mozzarella sticks too, which were pretty tasty. The customer service was a bit poor...the couple I was with got their original order messed up...the workers re did their order but they were not compensated in any manner and had to wait almost an entire hour for their pizza. In dire need of a quick pizza before the Cardinals/Packers playoff game, I ventured to Pink's Pizza to forget about the world and indulge in my cravings--and Pink's did not disappoint. Although I ordered my pizza to-go, their small little restaurant just one and a half blocks north of Washington looked cozy, comfy, and perfect for game-day location of any sport (they serve beer and wine, which helps their cause a lot!). As far as pizza goes, I ordered the 12-inch Big Boss--a meat lover's delight with a layer of sausage UNDERNEATH the cheese, just for comfort--and I devoured 5 of the 6 slices without hesitation. The Big Boss is definitely THE big boss of pizzas here. A $16.99 price tag is pretty high for a personal-sized 12 inch, so be wary if you're looking for the next best bang-for-your-buck location. However, if you're looking to venture outside of the typical Dominos/Pizza Hut for a few extra bucks, it's worth it. Also, I can say I'm not a fan of the most of the Mid West's interpretation of a pie. That being said... I have not tried many places in Houston yet for pizza. However, I have gone to Pink's several times for take out and I gotta say, it's fast, convenient, and is just about right. It's not the best most amazing pizza in the world. But the sauce has some good flavor to it, the cheese is just enough and well melted, and for being cooked in a conveyer belt pizza (just saying this seems so wrong), it's cooked okay. For now, I have gone simple with just Pepperoni. I haven't gone with their suggestions on the menu just yet. $17 bucks is on the verge of being too expensive for my taste for a large single topping pie that have rather small slices. Being a fan of pizza, thought I check this place out since we were at Taps House of Beers which is literally next door (Taps is on the next street over). We ordered two large pizzas (1. Jalapeños, onions and garlic 2. Roasted red peppers, olives and jalapeños). We asked it to be delivered and figured it would be about 30 mins for the pizzas. We had to call them twice to ask about our pizza which first they said it would be another 20 mins (we had already waited 40 mins from the time we placed the order). Then we called 30 mins later and were told the pizza was out on delivery. The pizzas didn't arrive till another 20 mins had gone by. Pizzas were cold (the pizzas didn't even arrive in a warmer bag thingie). The pizza sauce is on the sweeter side which throws off the flavor of the pizza. When I had gone over to them to pick up a menu, the cashier guy was telling me they are the only location that delivers. I think they should not delivery at all considering it takes them over 90 mins to make two pizzas and have them delivered to a place that is 100 feet away from them.
