We stopped at Pink's Pizza on our layover on our way to Costa Rica and then again on the way home, which honestly says everything. My daughter was so excited knowing we were flying back through Houston just so she could get this pizza again, and she's someone who will absolutely turn down pizza if it's not good, so the fact that she went straight for two slices tells you a lot. She kept it classic with cheese, I got a slice of pepperoni, and my husband went with one that had meat and veggies. I can't remember the name, but he said it was really good. Ok, the slices are big, like that New York-style where you can fold it in half and just go for it. That first bite after a long travel day just hit warm, cheesy, and exactly what we needed coming home from vacation. It's one of those airport food spots that actually feels like a win instead of just something convenient. The best part the line moves super fast, which is really helpful when you're trying to make a connecting flight. Helpful tip: The slices are pretty big, so one might be enough depending on how hungry you are... unless you're like my daughter and go back for two. I had a promotion/deal for this spot on my phone for a long time, and I had been waiting to be in this terminal worth plenty of time to redeem it The restaurant is on the backside of a terminal C food court, located next to the Starbucks. There's limited seating, and it's a little congested, but the space was clean and the staff was very helpful I hadn't had pinks pizza in ages, and I'd never actually ordered by the slice there, but it's a great option when traveling and in the need of a bite to eat They only had a handful if options (Big Boss, Cheese, Pepperoni, Hawaiian, etc). The slices are in a display case, and when you order they put your slice back through the oven to heat it up Everything tasted great. The pepperoni slice was a little pathetic looking, but it still hit the spot Some tips: I use a safe driving app called "Safe-2-Save" and it awards you for not being on your phone while driving. Unfortunately I was stuck with a 4 hr delay in IAH which would take me well past dinner time so I was forced to grab dinner at the airport. To no surprise, most of the IAH restaurants had terrible reviews. Also, I was cutting it close to the early closing time of most of the ones with decent reviews (like why do most places close at 8:30/9p at this airport?!?) The one place with decent reviews that was still open for a while longer (according to yelp they close at 11p) was pink's pizza. Like most new places I try, I did a bit of yelp studying and learned this is a local chain that brings nostalgia to some. I had my heart set on a couple of pizza options but learned very quickly upon arrival that choices are limited by what is available. My options were cheese, pepperoni, and a pineapple pizza (with some cheese missing) so I chose a classic pepperoni since I feel like that's usually a good indicator if a place is good or not. The girl working the register was very friendly and patient as I decided which beer I wanted to sip on during my long layover. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of local brews they had on tap and in a can! For $8 I found my pizza to be a nice filling size, fresh and flavorful with a hint of added seasoning. The box was also a cute touch. This will now be one of my go to stops when I need a quick bite in IAH (and I'm in or have time to make it to terminal C)! read more

Oh my Gosh, what a delicious pizza! I actually did a turnaround and came back, and I'm so happy I did. I was on my way to my terminal and somehow cut through the middle of Pinks Pizza. I glanced at the pizza displayed and thought, hmm, the toppings, the right amount of sauce, and the thin crust caught my attention. Plus, I love great decor, and Pink's was sort of that old feel of pizza places I loved and grew up enjoying. I found my terminal, which was a great distance from Pink's Pizza. So I went inside another Pizza place that was close to my gate. I sat there and looked over their menu, which was great. But Pink's Pizza was calling my name. I got up and quickly made my way back to Pink's. I'm so glad I did. The guy behind the counter told me it was "The Boss" I had my eye on. And just like I thought from that quick glance, it was the best. It was everything I love in a pizza. And I discovered that Pink's Pizza has many locations in my city. read more

Tasty pizza for those enroute elsewhere. It is somewhat hidden in a corner of a corner where C terminal meets all its wings. If you're okay with Sbarro like pizza then this pizza is fine. You can't really grab and go, but the folks who got me my pizza were nice and got my order out to me my order quick and hot. There's not much to look at, and after the sun goes down it looks like they have a full bar servicing the pizza patrons. Ambience is totally transient, but I never felt rushed. It's airport prices. I spent $12 on a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni, so I wasn't disappointed on either front. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in a hurry. read more

A strange experience. I didn't like the pizza much At First Bite, but I'm not sure if it was in my head because I knew I was eating at an airport. I might have been having subconscious daymares about the pizza place at the American Airlines terminal in Charlotte, which might be the worst food in the United States. I eventually fell into the airport pizza zone and ate two overpriced slices. I was still hungry, so I went to the bagel place in the same food court. So, I basically had a pizza bagel but with the pizza and bagel being separate. I guess I would recommend this place if you're hungry and want a pizza bagel minus the bagel. read more

I ordered a single slice of pepperoni pizza. It was presented to me with 5 pieces of pepperoni, all jammed into a 3"x3" outside corner of the slice. When I asked the server why it looked like that, she said they were strictly required to only put 5 pepperonis on each slice, and the the guys in the kitchen just jammed them together so they could cut it without exceeding the limit. It was a sorry slice, and the whole pizza it came from was even more pathetic. This is NOT how you make pizza, and I won't ever get a slice from Pink's Pizza if it looks like that in the future. Why would you have them working with the public and their unable to give clear communication to patrons. Flying hungover is THE WORST. Thankfully, there's Pink's Pizza at IAH Terminal C. A slice of 'za and a Topo Chico is all I need to get me back to normal. This location has community seating, bar seating, TVs showing sports, and alcohol (ick, not needed today). Most foods in Texas have a small kick and spice. Not at Pinks Pizza at IAH. They have a meat lovers type choice, a plain pepperoni, a cheese, and a veggie choice. I went with the meat lover. I asked to please throw some jalapeño slices on there. They said they don't make any changes to their selections. Ok, how about some onion, same ones you add to your veggie ones? They said no. I said so I cannot have any spicy pizza. They said they have some red chili flake packets at the end of the line. I would understand if they were busy but they weren't. The pizza was okay, nothing to great about it or outstanding. You stand in line, order it and they throw it into a heater to reheat it. Kind of like left over pizza you put into the microwave. I opted for a poweraid, it was 2.79. It's the airport so it's expected to pay top dollar for minimal items. I would say I waited about 2-3 minutes after I paid for my order. They had bags if you wanted to take it and napkins. The seating area was limited, if you're in a rush take it with you and sit near your gate. It will be better than waiting around for someone to leave since it shares seating with three other establishments. What drew me in was the line that spilled into the walkway, I would argue because it was moderately priced compared to the others. read more

Pink's is actually semi-reasonably-priced given they're inside an airport, especially if you just stick to the basic cheese or pepperoni slices. And they're fairly quick as you'd expect a slice place like this to be. Sure, the pizza itself-- quite good for an airport but pretty sad by New York standards, is at least indeed thin crust New York-style. It's pretty deprived of toppings, look at any photo-- it's sad, and decidedly NOT promising. But oddly it's still somehow got toppings to still feel pretty tasty as you shove it down your gullet as you race to catch your flight. So. What the heck. It earns its 4 star rating. The line moved along fairly quickly and the staff was courteous and was very accommodating to someone with dietary restrictions behind me in line. I ordered my usual go to, artichoke topped pizza. Sometimes I'll add chicken or meatballs, but went just with the artichoke this time. Each additional topping is $0.55 per topping. The one topping was $5.36 after tax. They offered to top my pizza with fresh grated mozzarella (free of charge), so why not! It definitely made it better. The pizza was not as good as the regular Pink's I have delivered to my door, but good nonetheless. Will definitely stop by again if I need a quick bite at the C terminal. Walking through the airport and I had to find something to hold me over..... I made the right decision. This place is kinda the standard "order a slice and we will heat it up for you" type of spot, but I have to say, I was impressed. I ordered a slice that had bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon and pepperoni on it, and I loved the taste and the crust was just crisp enough. The line didn't take long and the pizza came to me at the right temperature. I mean, there isn't much more you could ask for from a spot like this. The only negative is the price. I know it's at the airport and as a flying customer, you (by default) agree to pay inflated prices on all goods and services rendered, but my slice was over $7. There's a Pink's Pizza at the University of Houston Main Campus and that place is so bomb. I was expecting hot, oozing cheese, melt in your mouth type of pizza at the airport location - nope. It's located in terminal C near the tacos and wendy's area. The slices are still huge, but quality is night and day. First off, it's very greasy. I had to soak the oil off a few times with napkins, but I could still feel the oily drench on my face. Second, it wasn't warm even though it recently came off the rack. The ingredients and quality didn't taste very fresh. Save your money! I recommend walking over to the other side of terminal C and trying the new restaurants and improved atmosphere. They have a rip off Panda Express and an over-priced vietnamese restaurant. Oh, and a bougie taco joint too! It's after you pass the Jo Malone store. You're welcome. read more

A decent place to stop in the small food court in the older section of Teminal C if you're in a hurry or in the mood for pizza. I ordered the combo since it seemed a good deal and I was expensing the meal anyway. It saved about $2.50 from purchasing all items separately. It comes with 1 slice of any pizza, 5 wings, and a fountain drink. I chose the big boss which is basically an all meat pizza. It was decent but wasn't as filling as it looked. I went with the spicy bbq flavored wings. They were the biggest dissapointment since they're small and soggy. They're not spicy as advertised either. Overall, I left still hungry after spending $15 + after tax. After a lackluster experience at their airport location, not sure I'll be running to try any of their other locations around town now. read more

Pinks pizza runs a poorly managed restaurant with extremely rude waitstaff. The waitress (portly female African American woman approx late teen early 20s with a large puffy pony tail) was extremely rude and stated profanities and stated she would assault me after demanding that I throw my napkin and fork away. Because of her rude and belligerent behavior, I told her instead of sitting down on the job like I have been witnessing while eating, perhaps she needed to get up and perform her job in which she is being paid to do and wipe down the table instead of having the paying customer do her job for her. She began yelling at me throughout the restaurant while I was leaving. Prior to the incident she had also yelled at a man while he was leaving to come back and throw away his trash, while she was also sitting down on the job. I have never experienced such a poorly run and managed restaurant with extremely unprofessional waitstaff. One would expect that at an international airport serving to a multitude of customers who have a choice where to dine that the server staff would be hospitable and not rude to paying customers who are paying top dollar for food that can be purchased outside of the airport for less. The airport is a gateway for many persons visiting Houston and the Pinks Pizza establishment has represented Houston as employing people who are extremely rude, lack emotional intelligence, lack customer service, and lack accountability or the desire to deliver adequate and/or minimal service. I believe if management cares about the reputation of this restaurant, action should be taken to review the situation and provide training to your employees. Two other workers were nearby and witnessed the incident with astonishment. The rude person refused to provide her name. Therefor, I do not have this information to provide. read more

Pretty good slice of pie especially if you're in a hurry. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Ordered a slice of lazy lasagna and Hawaiian. The lasagna remake had some ricotta, sausage, and Italian seasoning. The Hawaiian had ham underneath the cheese and pineapple on top. Toppings were tasty on both. Crust is thin and light with dark cragly bubbles baked in (just like I like it). Both slices came out piping hot. The pizzas were extremely customizable in terms of topping choices, but I just went with extra cheese. Portion size of one slice is reasonable and would satisfy a light eater. Bonus to-do boxes are designed to perfectly fit a slice so they don't slide around too much. They're also vented to help prevent soggy crusts. read more

An oasis in the dessert! After my flight to LA was delayed, I was drawn to Pink's retro lights and design. For $4.95, I was able to grab a pretty great slice of cheese pizza. As another Yelper mentioned, the secret is in the sauce. Pink's doesn't go crazy with the toppings, they just focus on giving you a good slice of traditional New York-style pizza. Other places at the Houston airport were pretty pricey, but this place was really affordable.
