Decided to try this place as it was close to my hotel. Dropping the whole day's per diem here and sampled plenty. The interior was very clean and inviting and the staff was friendly. The good: The pizza. I thought the pepperoni pie was pretty excellent. Thin with enough cheese and an excellent crust. Also the white pizza was also really good. I would order pizza here again. The bad: Everything else. This place should be ashamed having a large sign on the wall about ingredients being imported and items being hand made. Yeah, sure. The pizza no doubt is, but the rest isn't. Toasted ravioli, mozzarella sticks, even the chicken parm cutlet all fresh from the freezer. I can live with the fried appetizers being these products but don't ever serve me frozen breaded chicken with sauce and cheese on top and call it chicken parm. It was disgusting. When food arrived, they left the food at the door and did not knock or indicate the food was sitting outside my door. This might be my new favorite pizza spot! I've had both carry out and dine in a few times and they have always been amazing experiences. The pizza is crispy on the bottom and super cheesy, with a great share of toppings! Love how customizable their pizzas are the variety of options they already carry. I also love the fact they have ricotta as many pizza places I know don't have that topping. Their wings are also great- I love the bbq wings more than the buffalo but both are delicious. Their wait times are decent. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes when picking up or dining in. They also have a good amount of dine in tables. I tried to order a pizza that I had ordered before and the "manager" tells me that they didn't have romano cheese.Imagine that, an Italian restaurant that doesn't have romano cheese. I wound up ordering something that I didn't want. I was so sure that I had ordered the pizza I wanted before, I looked at the menu. There---in bold letters----was romano cheese. I called back and the excuse I received was that he/she didn't have a key on the register for romano cheese. Fantastic pizza... Love the ability to grab a single slice for lunch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also liked that they had several TVs and they encouraged you to ask if there was anything you'd prefer to watch such as golf, or sports center. The taste of the pizza at Brooklyn Pizzeria is above average. It's definitely better than the mega chain pizza places. If I was rating on just taste, it would be a solid 4 stars. However, their customer service is really lacking. I called to order a pizza and explained that my son has a severe egg allergy so I needed to know if their was egg in the crust. The employee responds, "hmmm.. I don't think so". I again explain that my son has a severe allergy and thinking their is no egg and knowing their is no egg could cost him his life. She finally responds with, "I guess I can go check!" Note: If you do have an egg allergy, there is no egg in the crusts. So you're good there. However, I didn't appreciate the employee being so cavalier with a good allergy. But because she sounded young, I let it slide. Once our pizza arrived, our no olive pizza came with what looked like extra olives on it. I calm the store and they offer a new pizza (great!) but say it will be 1 hour for delivery (not great!). But if we pick it up, we can have the pizza in 15 minutes. I understand that delivery is probably slammed, however, I would have expected that a remade pizza of one they messed up to be delivered quicker than an order that was just made. So we had visited this establishment on a few occasions and even had them deliver a couple times without any issues..This particular time we had encountered a young man who was so un engaged and barely spoke we were switching up on our usual order and had some questions which he answered but I kept having to probe him very frustrating anyways we decided on a large half margarita pizza and pepperoni with mushroom. We tried their toasted ravioli. It came with 8 I believe and some marinara to dip them in. They were very yummy. My hubby got a single slice of pizza with 3 toppings and I got a specialty slice of the Hawaiian pizza. Both were really good!! I enjoyed that you could either get a single slice or however many you want or order a whole pizza. They also have a wide variety on their menu. We would love to come back and try. I don't know if it was the type of pizza that we got but it was a little on the thinner side for my taste, but I'm not familiar with pizza so that could just be how they make it unless ordered otherwise. I still bank with my NY bank (citibank) and it so happens that the only one within 10 miles of my area is right next to Brooklyn Pizzeria. When I saw the name, the first thing I thought was: "What do these people know about Brooklyn?? " So, the decision was made then and there that I would try their pizza. Now, I remember NY pizza well, and this one is comparable. I ordered our pie extra crispy and it was pretty good. I also ordered a small salad and it tasted and looked just like the one at "Brother's Pizza" on I10. I even asked the guy if they are affiliated, he said they know them well, but are two separate businesses. Now, back to the pizza. The pizza was good, maybe a 7 out of 10 (6 1/2). I felt that the crust and the cheese were a little limited for it to be an authentic Brooklyn Pizza. In NY, pizzerias are not cheap with ingridients, ever! did I like it? sure did. Was it NY style? Sure was. Would I go back? sure will. Is it the best I ever had? Sure it was not. I also did not hear any NY accents while at he establishment, so although it may be "brooklyn pizza" they may not necessarily BE from Brooklyn, NY. More on that next time I visit. read more

Due to COVID pandemic, my son and I rarely venture out--especially for take out. It had been a couple of months since we had our favorites from Brooklyn Pizza. Oh how we have miss you BROOKLYN PIZZA!!! My son usually orders the XL cheese pizza w/ extra cheese and light sauce. He changed up the sauce to their alfredo sauce today and swears this is his absolutely new favorite pizza. I order the Stromboli without green papers but with double jalapeños. My wife and I have ordered from here for probably over a decade, and usually the pizza is very good. the service since the owners stopped manning the store, has always come with a bit of attitude, but you put up with that for the pizza, but this time both sucked in relationship ending way. Started off by not bringing cheese and peppers, saying it has to be written on the ticket? Anyway, I let it go, and was thinking of enjoying the pizza, but upon opening the pizza I noticed the ingredients weren't close to be spread around evenly, in parts no cheese and clumps of ingredients. However, when I ate it, I was like, they left off the anchovies? By the way, the ingredients were designed around the anchovies, black and green olives, pepperoni, sausage, red onions, fresh mushrooms basil and garlic. So it was designed around the anchovies they left off. When I called to complain I was informed it wasn't their fault, it was my fault for not understanding that their pizzas are made by hand when all others are apparently made by machine? Like I haven't eaten a ton of their pizza, over the years and think I know why they're supposed to be worth $30 bucks with $4.00 delivery fee and tip included? I was further informed that it wasn't his fault they didn't know I wanted peppers and cheese, that was because the owner won't spend the money to make sure the system relays delivery instructions? I know it's BS, because I've put them in the delivery instructions before, but since he wouldn't even address leaving off the anchovies, it makes perfect sense. This guy shouldn't be anywhere near the title of Manager, hell he should be lucky if they let him eat his own slop! Oh he wanted me to send him a photo, but instead of texting the phone number to me, he wanted me to write it down? Again he wouldn't even apologize to us for the anchovies being left off the pizza? Saying to my wife, after she said, why are you giving excuses, and not apologizing for the anchovies? He kept explaining why it wasn't his or their fault, I said it was, and he needed to apologize, and so he explained how he wouldn't be talked to like that, and I said yes you will be, ... you piece of s**t and he hung up!
