I heard about this location a few years ago and everyone raved about it so I decided to check it out since I was in the area. The restaurant is located in a shopping strip so the parking was free. When we walked in the restaurant was empty. I ordered a large Classic Combo pizza, individual pepperoni pizza, wings (Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan) and a 2-liter soda. My grandson loved his pepperoni pizza. However, the Classic Combo pizza was very dry. The wings were good but the dressings they give you do not complement the wings well. The tea and Diet Coke was out of service. Also, one of the two restroom stalls was also out of service. The service from the cashier was okay. The ambiance was dull. They had TVs on the wall but none of them were on and I don't recall hearing any music. Overall, it didn't measure up to the Godfather's Pizza that I loved as a kid. read more

Amazing sauces, and crusts. Reminds me of how Pizza Hut use to be for those 80s babies or before. That's the taste. I go, All-meat always or meat lovers, minus that bacon. The same flavor and consistency of the others I've had in the Houston area. The service was attentive and quick. The store had plenty of seating and seemed very clean. The pizza well it's the highlight. I hand my regular taco pizza and it was just as good at this location. Plenty of ingredients and consistent with the godfathers quality. Loved it. I was excited to try this place based on great reviews. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. It is advertised as dine in as well as carry out. Don't dine in. The service is -500 stars. They don't have plates for you to eat so your pizza is served on a to go box. Asking for anything to the staff is a HUGE imposition. Fans are on full blast- chairs are all stacked up, only booths available. I asked for a high chair and I was rudely pointed towards a corner where high chairs were and laughed at by two employees. If you care about your health DO NOT EAT HERE! They do not wear gloves but yet want to touch MY pizza with their hands without washing them and had just finished sweeping! Like does this location want me to get sick ! On top of that Amanda is rude and has an answer for everything she is probably going to respond to this review claiming they wash their hands frequently. Totally excited about my experience. I was a little leery about eating pizza due to being lactose intolerant. Plus I usually get heartburn. However, my boyfriend raved about the pizza. I am happy to report the pizza was excellent! They were able to accommodate my food allergies also. We ordered two pizzas. I ate two slices and thought "oh...Lord". Guess what? I didn't get sick! So I called and found out they were back open after being closed late last year. So I ordered a pizza online. Got there it was ready, the young lady at the front was nice although she didn't have on a mask. I got my food, checked it out. It looked good. Got home and tasted it. The lady that answered the phone was dry. That's ok. But I asked questions about the pizza because I had never been to this location. She answered the questions and I decided on a pizza because I wanted several toppings. When she gave me my total it was like $10 more than the price she originally told me. Her response was this pizza only comes with a certain number of toppings but there was another pizza that had more toppings on it that was only $2 more. I told her at the beginning Of the conversation what I was looking for and order based on her suggestion. I asked her, do you really think I want to pay $10 more for a pizza that I can get for $8 less based on the name? Her response, well that's what you asked for. I said, no that's what you suggested. I went to godfathers for some pizza after hearing a lot about it more recently. They have been swamped and busy. They went from unpredictable days to steady orders so i can understand the changes that were made. Anyhow I placed my order right when they opened and was quoted a 45 minute wait so i went togo run an errand and when I went back by it was ready. Twice this week my experience over the phone with this location is inexcusable. The 1st time I called to see if they deliver the lady that answered the phone said you have to check the website. I walked in a couple minutes before they opened and a skinny old white lady said they weren't open, "who opened the door?" The guy in the back told her it was 11 AM LOL. They had four basic 1-2 topping pizzas prepared ready to be eaten when I asked the elderly lady about their signature TACO PIZZA - she told me I had to eat at least two pieces for them to make it. She looked at me like I was crazy or poor or something. (I was dressed in sweatpants, sneakers and a hoodie) I said OK no problem. When the taco pizza came out I ate half of it. While waiting for my taco pizza to be made I visited the salad bar only to notice that there was zero lettuce on the salad bar and had to ask her for some. The pizza was not very good compared to other Godfathers taco pizza. It was dry with very little cheddar cheese on top. What makes taco pizza so good is the sauce! It was dry. I had to ask for extra taco sauce. The pizza was OK, but I was very put off and felt uncomfortable after my experience. read more
