It wasn't so much of the pizza being partially burnt from keeping it in the oven long, but the experience...Walked in, my daughter and I, and wanted two MOD's with more toppings. At glance it was an employee leaning over the toppings area for pizza and making a customer pizza. Very oversized employee lady. I assume her weight was too heavy and had to lean the whole time over toppings down the line, almost from stomach-up, and arms across toppings to make pizza for the guy in front of me. I could see she couldn't stand up long because of her weight. If she could see herself in a mirror reflection, she probably wouldnt eat from herself. That's a major, not only personal health but sanitary issue for business and people. If you have to lean to make pizza over people's food, I wouldn't feel comfortable eating my pizza. Luckily the other employee helped me next like a assembly line for my daughter and I. If it was my pizza... I would of said something right there. Maybe the other customer felt really sorry for her and didn't say nothing, as well as the other employees. So our pizza was made with quality, but ended burned for leaving in oven to long. Didn't notice til I got home, underneath both of our crusts. For my first time at this store and overall experience, if it's ran like this normally, I wouldn't attempt coming back ever. read more

MOD Pizza - Burned at bottom - Fast Food Near Me - Kingwood, Texas

My husband just visited this Mod Pizza. He had the worst time ordering. The worker did not know what constituted a Lucy Sunshine. He had to read it over and over again. Then, he ordered a mini salad. He was told he could not add any ingredients contrary to the policy on the menu. He had to argue to change the dressing. At this point, I don't even care how the food tastes because the experience was painfully long and unnecessarily difficult read more

Food was amazing, service was quick but only 1 employee working at the time we walked in, ordered, and paid. Only once my husband said something did another employee show up. read more

My first time coming to a Mod pizza! The workers were fun and engaging. They took the time to explain the process and walked me through the process of picking my toppings! The others that were in the back ground were friendly as well as the buzzing around prepping! Over all a good experience and will be back for sure!!! As for the pizza! It tasted exactly like I planned and made it!!! Ingredients were fresh and flavorful.... They have a great variety of toppings, seasonings even after they bake it you have a choice of more sauces --. So if your pizza sucks or is flavorless it's your own fault!!! read more

MOD Pizza - Mod Pizza! My first time! - Fast Food Near Me - Kingwood, Texas

Taste like cardboard. Not enough toppings. Flat burnt bread. 3 pizzas and some breadsticks was 50+ dollars. Way too expensive for not enough everything. I'll never go back. The guy making the pizza was cool and very nice. That was the best part. read more

Let me start that typically I enjoy the pizza here. But we aware that when you place an order online when checking out they will not accept payment without paying at least a 20% tip! I tried several ways to submit payment. I will never order on line again. Ridiculous to pay a tip for an online order. read more

Good pizza, we always enjoy the cauliflower crust. Staff is always attentive. And no extra charge if you want to add stuff. Fresh.

Love MOD. This location is not one of their best. Slooowww service (at a non-peak time), dirty tables, and a decided lack of enthusiasm for the task at hand. Food was fine, but I'd avoid this location. read more

Love that we can select our own toppings. We prefer it to go and ordering online to pick up is very easy and fast. They do a pretty good job on the toppings. For a while, they were kind of short on some toppings but it has been better the last few times and since I only order an all veggie pizza and no meat then I expect them to give a good amount of toppings. I like the cauliflower crust. It cooks up nicely and tastes great...can hardly tell the difference. The salads are awesome too! read more

This is one of our favorite place to eat by our hotel. Pizza and salad are both very good. I love, love, love they have vegan cheese. They have tons of toppings and let you build either your salad or pizza just how you like it so every time you go it can be different if you want. They're open later than most places in the area. The service runs from good to great depending on whose working. They kind of spoiled us at this location because I tried a MOD Pizza back in Fort Worth and thought, what the heck is going on? This location is always clean and friendly read more

The pizza here is so amazing!!!! I love great pizza. This place is my new favorite!! Everything taste home made!!!

There's a sign inside. "This is not a pizza place"... I was hoping but unfortunately they were right. Cool soundtrack. Average pizza. Not spiced well. The meat lovers (Mad Dog) was bland. Thick crust (mega dough) is regular crust thickness as opposed to thin crust. Nice people, but at $19.75 for an 11 inch and a can of wine, it felt expensive. read more

Rating Reduction for unresolved prior issue. It's not about the money at this point. No one from their corporate office has demonstrated acknowledgement of THEIR role in a managerial escalation as promised. AGAIN, BEWARE when card terminals at restaurants prompt for (voluntary???) tips at POS, PRIOR to completion of dining experiences (right...they want you to tip BEFORE you get SERVED). THIS entire experience with Mod Pizza diminished an otherwise, potentially pleasant and satisfying 1st time dining experience with an area's newest pizza competitor (among MANY in a 1-3 mi. radius), into a "go away, not interested in keeping customers" perception - by their CORPORATION; as the Manager, Dejuan (sp?) remained empathetic throughout. PAY CASH and KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS. read more

Not sure why they didn't tell me that the gluten free crust cost more. Then she was surprised that i didn't know it was more. And as I'm standing there ready to build my pizza a guy had two orders that were late and no one would help him. Not impressed with this bunch of workers. I wouldn't have gotten the crust if I had known. read more

MOD Pizza - Mod - Fast Food Near Me - Kingwood, Texas

We love MOD but this is definitely our favorite location! The people are always so friendly, greet with a smile and have great conversations in between the pizza prep process. Iada and Stephanie are awesome! Sometimes our orders get crazy with the amount of toppings we request but they pile those veggies on for us with no regrets! I love to feel like I'm not a hassle, as most other restaurants will make you feel just that for simply requesting it like you prefer. MOD! MOD! MOD!...for the win! read more

Love MOD pizza...staff was exceptional and accommodating when I goofed my online order!

Walked into this location with my brother and my service animal and within seconds the manager, Cody Fields, comes up to me without asking any questions and tells me that my dog couldn't be in the restaurant. I understand the policies and respect them but this isn't my first rodeo I've had my dog for 6 years now and I wouldn't bring him in if he wasn't a registered service animal. The way he came across was rude and just unwelcoming. The whole time we sat there eating he wouldn't stop looking our way. Being the manager one would expect something different. First and last time we'll be eating at the Kingwood location. This may not be much to many but if you have a service animal you would understand. read more

Terrible customer service manager w the glasses was very rude and disrespectful, pizza was burnt and stale.

I have been here twice in the month of March 2019. Both times the pizza was great. We got a salad this time that was recommended by staff, it turns out excellent. I am also very impressed with the customer service. It is a very young staff, so I commend management. Service was fast, friendly with great personality. read more

Pizza is great! Girl with the blue hair needs to get checked and be told to not be rude to new customers! I came here with my partner for the first time and we were lost on how to order so my partner went up to the register for some help but was directed by that blue haired chick very rudely that it's at the other end. I get that some people have bad days but it's totally unacceptable to bring it into work. Workers need to be more welcoming! Pizza was great! read more

Friendly service, great pizza. I've always had an easy and good experience at this location.

Terrible operations. They ignore the online orders coming in and blame "short staffed" as the problem. It was clear I ordered online before everyone that walked thru the door but yet my order came out AFTER everyone else got theirs. Online ordered puts you in the back of the line although it is meant to be more efficient. read more

So basically they misplaced my kid's pizza. Like it was a plain ole pepperoni pizza. I chose this location because it is on the way home. From now on, I'm going to the Mod on Kingwood Dr. I've never had any issues there and my pizza is always on point. Still waiting for them to remake my kid's pizza. read more

Not sure why I took so long to try this place. I love that I can choose everything that goes on the pizza!!! I will definitely come back!!!

First off ...I love MOD Pizza! I like the thin crust ,I get to see the toppings ,the price is fair, but... I understand working with Millidiots these days can be challenging ,but the tattooed 20 something that checked me out was more concerned with her dance moves than handing me my drink cup, even when I lingered at the cash stand 45 seconds ,still waiting for my cup -finally ,someone else recognized I was missing something ...and it looked like everything over at the drink station needed a power wash tonight boo Kingwood read more

My life group came to this location on 7/21 to have lunch as a class. I ordered a Mod and it was crafted with perfection to my satisfaction. The line was long but moved quickly. I did not feel rushed when I was creating my masterpiece. They were very patient and placed as many ingredients on the pie that I wanted no questions asked. The wait for my pizza to be ready did not seem out of line. What I received was hot and fresh which is how I like my pizza. All of the ingredients were top notch. There seemed to be plenty of seating for our group. I will add that both Kingwood Mod Pizza locations are great and I will most definitely be back for my next slice soon. read more

Recently tried a vegan, gluten-free diet, which limited my food choices in Kingwood. Noticed Mod Pizza offered a cauliflower crust pizza option. Was pleasantly surprised by this crust! Was thin and crispy and you wouldn't know it wasn't a traditional crust. They also offer vegan mozzarella, which was OK, but didn't impress as much as the cauliflower crust. Will definitely be back for more if that cauli crust! read more

Literally the best pizza place I have been to. The Pizza is all was the best and the customer service is beyond phenomenal. The employees do their best to make my experience amazing. I love this place and is the best service I have received from any restaurant I have been to. Would highly recommend this store. Will be back many times after this visit. read more

MOD Pizza - Pizza from mod - Fast Food Near Me - Kingwood, Texas

Pizza made like a Subway sandwich shop. You pick size and toppings and they brick oven cook it. Kids favorite place to eat.

Love MOD Pizza, I've been to several locations. But this one by far has some of the best ambiance you could ever find inside a restaurant. Awesome artwork, friendly people, delicious pizza. I'd give it 100 stars if I could. Also the GM Dujuan couldn't be anymore of a better fit for the newest addition to this super cool restaurant/company. I'd recommend to my family and friends. read more
