I'm so glad Crust Pizza opened right next to my daughter's school, it's super convenient, and both of my daughters love pizza, so it's become a new favorite for us! We've visited a few times now, and every experience has been great. The first time we came was on a Tuesday, and to my surprise, both of my daughters ate free--turns out kids eat free on Tuesdays, which is such a nice bonus for families! We came back today (a Wednesday), and while the kids didn't eat free this time, they still enjoyed every bite. And for the adults--50% off wine by the glass and bottle on Wednesdays is definitely a win for me! The service is always friendly and fast, and the food is amazing. The pizza really stands out, especially the crust, it's so buttery, flavorful, and truly lives up to the name. I definitely understand why it's called Crust! We'll absolutely be back again soon. Great food, great service, and great deals. Highly recommend! PS: Celia is amazing!!

Y'all! I forgot to tell y'all KIDS EAT FREE every Tuesday! So worth it. I was recently able to feed a family of 8-9 for $65, granted I know you could probably get $5 pizzas elsewhere, I was able to get adult sized chicken Alfredo's, salads, stuffed crust pizzas, and several kids meals and drinks! The quality was good and the staff was very accommodating! My family of 6 have taken advantage of the offer a few times as well!

My take home slices.

Delicious pizza! The Lunch Special is great. You can get a 7 inch pizza, salad & fountain drink for $12. I'm gluten-free and their cauliflower crust is tasty. Try my favorite combo of basil, tomato & pineapple. So good. The manager at the Summerwood store is the best!

Undercooked pizza

I tried, but this will be my last order! My husband and I both order the extra crispy cauliflower crust. For our first several orders everything was perfect. Then came the inconsistencies. One order would be fine and the next was extremely undercooked. Well, tonight was the final straw. Other than the edges being cooked, the rest of the crust was mush! I had to pry it out of the carton due to the dough being so raw it stuck to the cardboard! I then had to eat it with a fork because it was too limp to eat any other way! I have included pictures!

10/10!!!!! The service was fantastic, we came in about 9:11, food came out and we were out by 9:45. The food was delicious, we are definitely coming back again. I was so impressed with how clean and great the food tasted. Our first time here and we were greeted and the special was suggested.

We started doing this when the pandemic was winding down as a way to get out with friends since we could not previously and also support our local restaurants. Each month we pick a different place or one we might not have been to in a while. We had never tried Petra, I had driven by it many times in the past and was curious as to how it was inside. Since I got to pick this month, I picked Cafe Petra and am glad I did! My wife and I were the first to arrive and when we told them we would be eating with 7 others from our club they quickly pulled some tables together. Our young server was very good, she took drink orders and delivered them to the right customers very quickly. After a bit of socializing we placed our orders and it wasn't very long and food was coming to our table. I had the Chicken Shawarma and Gyro Combo plate and it was a huge serving that also started with a nice salad. Others in our group had gyro sandwiches, salads and even baclava. My wife loved the French fries that are so crisp. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with Mediterranean decor, there is a big screen at one end with scenes from Greece and other parts of the region. As I said, service was very good and the servings were large enough that several of our group took home to-go boxes. We will go back in the future.

It's well decorated for the holiday season with plenty of lights and decor. It was quiet when we went so was able to get seated right away. We ordered the Messa that consists of chicken, gyro, kibbi and dolma. There are different sizes... for 1, 2 or 3 persons. The chicken was very tasty with the right level of spice. Gyro was good as well. Kibbi (fried dough with ground beef inside) was delicious esp when dipped with Tzatziki. Yum! Dolmas was good too. For the price, there was a decent amount of food. Had to pack some home as we were stuffed. Staff is friendly and offered some suggestions. They have other things in the menu like seafood that we look forward to try next time.

I really want to love this Salata location because the food is consistently fresh and delicious,…read morebut there are two major things holding it back from being a regular go-to for me. First, for a modern dining space, it's disappointing that there is no Wi-Fi available for customers. In a world where many of us are looking for healthy alternatives to coffee shops to get some work or school tasks done while we eat, not having connectivity is a huge letdown. This environment has so much potential to be a great "dine and work" spot, but until they prioritize staying connected, it's just a quick "in and out" place. Second, the service flow could use some serious improvement. If you happen to get stuck behind someone placing a large family order, the line ends up going out the door. It seems like they need a better system or more staff during peak hours to handle those bigger orders without bottlenecking the entire experience for everyone else. I'll keep coming back for the salads, but I'd love to see this location evolve into a more business- and student-friendly environment!

No lines and everything was fresh and fully stocked. I ordered a wrap with pesto chicken and shrimp, a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and a chocolate chip cookie. Relaxing, clean place to grab a pizza and they'd probably switch to the game you'd like to watch on their big tv, if you asked. Ordered and 15 minutes later got a very generous sized medium pizza; fresh ingredients, and hot from the oven. I took the pizza to go to share with others at home and we all enjoyed our slices truly, a New York style pizza. Good crust, lots of cheese and fresh toppings. I might ask for a little more sauce on the pizza next time just because I like it a little more that way I did like the taste of the sauce ,as well. I hope they open a location in Humble or Valley Ranch area! Stop by soon for a great pizza experience, in every way.

Our boys love pizza so we decided to see what Yelp recommended around the house. I always base my decision on the color and texture of the cheese on the pizza. I don't like the appearance of yellow orangish cheese. It has to be white because it seems less greasy to me. So, this local pizza spot was the win. I'd give their pizzas an 8/10 because the size of the pizzas were great, toppings were reasonable, but prices a bit on the steep side. I'm okay with paying for a really good pizza, but no take out specials was a slight disappointment. I mean not even for a one topping pizza. So be prepared to pay for the size of your pizza plus each topping. You can order a few select specialty pizzas on their menu. I have to say the fact that: the crust was crispy, not greasy, not too thick, and the flavor and amount of the pizza sauce was just right. I'm an in between thin and hand tossed pizza crust preferred so this was perfect. Other than that, we liked it so much we'll be back when we're craving a good pizza. It would be a great perk if there were some specials even if it was 10% off your take out order or a special when you buy two pizzas. We ordered the 18" pepperoni pizza and 14" meat lovers.

It has a lot of cool Japanese style decorations / wall art, and they're usually showing Pokémon on tv! The inside is very pretty / appealing to me, and it had a nice chill vibe. I will take more pictures next time. The service has always been overall solid, but my fiancée and I's favorite waitress is named Jennifer I believe. She's very sweet and attentive. We made it a point to ask her name last time we went(and somehow I'm iffy if I got it right). We were being served by a waiter who honestly was kinda meh, and then Jennifer saw us and greeted us. She then went to tell him to get us water, and I then just asked her if she could tend to us instead. She's great and we will always ask for her anytime we go moving forward. Onto the main subject: the food! I've ordered multiple different items here, but I'll start with the appetizers. I've tried the Brussels sprouts tempura, which were just ok to both my wife and I. It seemed like it was plain unseasoned Brussels sprouts fried lol. We've also had the fried shrimp shumai which was solid to me, but the Mrs said it was too fishy. Ramen: I've had the tonkotsu black (pork) multiple times, the spicy shrimp ramen, the Kami Goyu (sliced NY Strip) and the spicy chicken ramen. I really like all of the broths and noodles, but I feel like the pork, chicken, steak and shrimp proteins could improve. The pork seems really fatty / chewy but not in the way I'm used to. My wife doesn't care for it either. The chicken is like a thinly sliced chicken breast and seemed like it was cooked separately then dumped into the broth last second. The Mrs says it reminds her of a plain Costco chicken. I still ate this more the the pork, and pork is my usual go to. The shrimp was ok to me, and I'm not really sure how I'd describe it but I ate it all. I don't think I'd order the Kami Goyu again as I did not care for the steak, but I did eat it since I don't like wasting food. I think the spicy chicken ramen may be my favorite overall. My absolute favorite thing here though, is the Akuma roll. All I can say is I love it, and I'll be ordering it everytime I go. It is a raw sushi roll. All in all, I know we'll be back! Note: you can try 2 different types of ramen if you order the yin yang ramen, minus their lobster ramen.
