This is my go to pizza place when I visit my parents. I like I can add anything I want on it. It doesn't take long and then due to pandemic we can go home and eat it. Yes they have gluten free crust and dairy free cheese. My one son is lactose intolerant doesn't get cheese because he doesn't like dairy free cheese, but something for everyone here.

You get to chose your toppings and no limit to what you want on your pizza. Basically like a subway for pizza lol. Don't waste your money on Papa John's, Dominos's, and Pizza Hut cuz once you go MOD their ain't no other pizza GOD. The ambiance is like a hip sk8ter early 2000s vibe in my opinion. It's standard across other Mod restaurants. The service was friendly, fast, and listened great to what I wanted to order. Ordered for pickup. Arrived at suggested pickup time. They had 5 other customers, and 4 people working. Waited 20mins and received their "blackened crust" special on a few of the pies. It happens, but disappointing for my (slightly picky) kids who ordered the basic cheese pizzas. The other pizzas were good though, so 3/5 stars. read more

Do not place an order online. You have to leave at least 15% tip before you can check out. Did it twice on 2 separate orders to make sure and I could not complete my purchase without a tip! Unreal!! read more

Prolly my last visit. A number of employees have beards and I saw zero beard nets being used with staff that was preparing food. Also, there was a weir odor in the store today. Definitely not the cleanest Mod I've been to. Trash cans overflowing, fountain area was a total mess several tables with dirty dishes and the "clean" tables were sticky. Decided to take pizzas home and eat them there. read more

If you like super thin crust this is the place for you. If you order anything other than the largest size, the crust is super thin and often tastes burned. This is the best pizza around and the best location. We have a MOD closer to our house, but we prefer frequenting this one! It is so clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I always make my own. Today I had a arugula, pepperoni, diced tomato, and kalamata olives. So yummy! Don't forget to purchase a No-Name cake for dessert. They are like a Ding- Dong, but sooooo much better! read more

This was my first time at MOD pizza. I came with a friend because I had a gift card from Christmas that I wanted to use. The place seems really popular it was almost closing time and it didn't even seem like it. I was given the first time spiel which I've grown to love since I have to do it at my own job. My friend got the Tyler and I pretty much customized my own pizza. I did a white sauce with mozzarella, pepperoni, chicken, bacon, canadian bacon, jalapeños topped off with asiago and crushed red pepper flakes. I also ordered the garlic bread strips. The garlic bread was pretty basic and bland even a little dry but my pizza was great. I loved the nice thin crust. It wasn't too heavy or filling and it was a great price. I got the mini for like $5. They did write the wrong name on my pizza so it took them a while to find out it was mine but the customer service totally made up for it. Everyone working there was so nice and accommodating. So remember the gift card? The whole reason I even came to MOD... well I completely left it at my friends house and didn't even get to use it, but it's totally cool cause I'd love to go back! read more

Terrible customer service. Waited over 30 minutes for a curbside order only to find that they did not make the pizza properly. They ran out of the topping we requested, however instead of calling and informing us, they left a note on the receipt saying "all out, sorry". When I called, they refused to provide a refund or remake the pizza as they were "too busy". Luckily I'm not too busy to write this review. Save your time and money and go to the Northpark location. read more

So this is the first time I have been really disappointed with our pizzas. Went in Saturday night 8pm the place was not busy on 2 people in line and around 15 seated. No greeting as we came in only from a small pleasant guy with a fisherman's type hat on as we entered the service counter. I felt it was a effort for the young girl who served me leaning up against the counter quite uninterested in serving the toppings and to speak to us! To top it my pizza was quite well done (see pic) but didn't say anything at the time as there seemed to be no one in authority around to make contact with! Not the usual "mod pizza vibe" we normally expect on our family outing. We were disappointed as Love mod pizza but not on this occasion! read more

New to the area and was introduced to MOD Pizza. When we entered there was a cheerful greeting of "welcome to MOD" you can't help but smile. There was a line which is a good sign that you are about to experience yumminess. The line moved quickly and the options for the brick oven pizza or salad are endless. I love that I can oog out my tiny humans by ordering roasted broccoli on my pizza. Definitely a new favorite on my explorations of Kingwood. read more

This is my first time here at MOD pizza and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is great and diverse here. The pizza was amazing. It was fresh ingredients and the BEST part you can get anything you want for no extra price. It's all one price like WHAT!!!! Was excited for Kingwood MOD Pizza to open. Went on Grand opening day around 2:30. Full staff and line moved pretty quick. Everyone was friendly, pizza was just like I wanted it and wait staff stopped. Y several times to refill my drink, ask if I wanted to go box etc.... I will be coming often!!! read more

Not impressed with some of the pizza makers here. I shouldn't have to tell them that when I want a topping, that they should put it on the entire pizza. Like when I say I want pepperonis, that doesn't mean just put it on 1/3 of the pizza. I think they must be symmetrically challenged. Not impressed. read more

Busy, but fast and friendly service. If you don't want to wait I suggest ordering online ahead of time during lunch time especially. They also have what they call the "No Name cake" it's just modern-day ding dongs, LOL! Another tip is to get a fountain drink and put half Sprite and half Marion Blackberry lemonade.... my personal creation I like to call, "Dragon Juice"... it's amazing! They have salads that you can create your own you can even create a pizza salad if you prefer. They also carry floats and shakes for dessert. I highly recommend this place you can't go wrong. read more

My wife's sandwich was so big she had to cut it in half. She said it was really good and that they could just serve it without the bun and it would be a hit. Ended up taking half of it home which I finished later in the evening and I have to agree. It was a really good chicken sandwich. And I can't forget the fries. They were great too. We were greeted warmly by the folks at the counter, I ordered a 12" pizza with sauteed mushrooms and Italian sausage. My wife got a 12" with just the veggies she likes - onions, bell pepper, mushrooms and black olives. She also ordered a cannoli to go to try later. We got some drinks, a soda and an iced tea and took a seat. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with a few TVs but they weren't playing loud which we appreciated. After about 20 minutes our pizzas came out. They were super hot having just come out of the oven so we had to wait a bit to try them. Overall we were quite pleased. My wife said she thought the sauce was what made them more like a NY pizza, I figured it was a combination of the sauce and the thin crust. Thin crust is what we like, the only part that was thick was the edge which made it easy to hold. In the end, we sampled both pizzas and got a box to take the rest home; we basically ate a half each of the 12" pizzas! And we think their 12" is more like 13" so a generous size. We decided this will be where we order our pizzas for our party. When we got home, my wife tasted the cannoli and said it was also very good!

The side house salad had string cheese, sliced tomato, black olives and carrot shavings with string cheese on top. It was a very good tasting start. The pasta dish had grilled shrimp and vegetables bathed in an alfredo sauce on top of fettuccine. This dish pleasantly surprised me in a good way. The serving size was like a dinner portion with several shrimp included . It was delicious and rich in flavor. Finally the mini cannoli made with cheese and milk chocolate chips was a nice sweet ending that was just right size wise. The portion was very generous and we had leftovers of everything. There's plenty of free parking and it's beautiful to sit outside or walk around the area in the nicer weather.

Overall, the ambience is pleasant, the service okay, but I would think twice before I'd ever risk another lukewarm experience.

My husband and I came to MOD pizza for the first time. The pizza was surprisingly good. Thin and crisp just like we like it. It is obvious that this establishment is geared towards teenagers as the music is blaring rock. On top of that they are yelling out names as each pizza is ready. The music alone will drive away adults and bring in the tweens and teens. This is unfortunate for Kingwood as it could have been a really nice option for pizza. Some moderate Italian music and a nicer atmosphere. The good pizza will be lost because of the atmosphere. Also fix or replace that coke machine shower you use for a drink dispenser. If I want a coke shower I would do it at home, not in a public restaurant. read more

This place is amazing! Everyone is super friendly and the pizza's are perfect. My husband and I always order extra sauce on our pizzas and all the other pizza places fall short on actually giving us extra sauce. I love that you can choose a pizza combo they already make or create your own and watch them make it all the while they are asking if you are satisfied with the way they are making it. The prices are good, the pizza sizes are good, the wait time is always reasonable even when the line to order is long. We have been to 3 other Mod locations and this one is hands down the best!! Ok, I must say that I love love love Mod Pizza!! This pizza is delicious!! The first time I had it was for Kingwood's grand opening. I then started going to the one at Sam Houston & W Lake Houston. I finally came back to the Kingwood location, after thinking they were still closed from Hurricane Harvey. I have to honestly say this location is my favorite location!! The hospitality here is over the charts!! Customer Service goes a long way with me and when its given naturally that means so much. LOVE MOD PIZZA! This place is amazing. I love the pizza but I am more impressed with the staff and management. I went in a couple of weeks ago when Kingwood had some flooding issues and the two employees in were so kind. Then I went in again yesterday and the pizza was perfect and again I felt so welcome. Lisa, the manager, was talking to every table and the staff was greeting everyone who came in. Such a fun environment with delicious food! read more
