I am just mad at myself for not going here earlier, after the closure of a local favorite spot, forgetting my lunch, and craving something to commit carbiside with... I finally gave in and went to MR. G's pizza. There isn't many reviews for the spot but one of the pictures looked promising and called in to make an order for their Meat lover's pizza in a large. The employee was nice both over the phone and when I picked up my order, it was fast. Now the highlight, is opening up the box, pulling a slice off the rest of the pie and watching the cheese pull away! It was beautiful I tell ya!! **insert cute kitten eyes here** Then it came to taking a bite off the pizza and wow! It was delicious! The meat was nicely cooked into the pizza pie, the crust was pure perfection and overall I was completely satisfied. DO NOT over look this spot! I might stop by today for a large pizza and their wings, that's how delicious this spot it! read more

I got this app just to go crazy on them! I customized my pizza by adding green peppers! The one thing I would say is that I wish there was a dining room available read more

Mr G's Pizza - a pepperoni pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Houston, Texas

Ordered pizza and wings while my husband and I were in town for the weekend. The pizza tasted funny we couldn't decide if it was the sauce, sausage or cheese..... maybe a combination of some sort but it was not good at all. The wings were edible but not the greatest. We wasted our money and still have to find something for dinner. If I could give zero stars it would be a more accurate depiction of my rating and review read more

I have ordered pizza from here for years. They are flexible with my needs (I have ordered pizza for two different shifts of people) and they have been great. My crew really like this pizza. read more

Great Pizza ! Maybe a little bit of more cheese or mozzarella overall I can't complain. I do feel like the pizza & wings a little bit overpriced read more

We ordered the half supreme half meat lovers and we were NOT disappointed!!! This place seems a bit sketchy bc of the area, but being from out of town, and the convenience, we ordered from here anyways and we are soooo happy that we did! The cheese pull and the toppings were divine. Next time we're in town, we will order from them again! read more

Mr G's Pizza - Half meat lovers half supreme DELISH - Pizza Near Me - Houston, Texas

Pros: ownership and the pizza itself Thin crust pizza perfectly baked in their wooden oven. The toppings are fresh and don't taste like they came out of a can. The owners are very kind and treat everyone like they're personal friends. Too bad it's located far far away in north Houston. An area I visit on average once every 2 months. Cons: not located in the best part of north Houston so it's best to get your share of this delicious pie before nightfall. read more

The spaghetti had no flavor whatsoever and it was expensive a big portion service was ok

I have ordered from this place for years and I love their food, I personally give them over 100 on a scale of 1-10 (they beyond exceed a 10 to me) they are so nice and good is always hot and delicious (I cannot speak for no one else) only myself! my 9 year old daughter loves their food, she has told me that when we get pizza, she only wants it from Mr G Pizza and I couldn't agree with her more! thank you Mr G Pizza for your kind service over all these years! I recommend Mr G Pizza to anyone (Tiffany) They know who I am read more

One of the best pizza places on the north side. Wings wasn't the best but you can tell they put time into their pizza.

8 minutes away from my house is too far for them to deliver. Joke. Big joke. Complete joke.

'S Fast and convenient, but overall, it's like a good quality pizza you buy at the grocer and put on a clay stone in a good oven. But, it's been here for years, so they are doing something right. Location: N the strip-mall anchored by Bally Total Fitness in a narrow store; and, I suspect the short name was chosen sized to fit the width of the store. Atmosphere: G's is a small, independently-owned, low-budget décor, slightly worn place with comfortable booths, cheap tables & chairs, a limited menu, and seems to rely on pizza by-the-slice and a small buffet. It's not a booming business, but there were 3 other customers when I was there for lunch, and they seem to be regulars who like to watch America's Funniest Videos on a small TV while eating a buffet lunch. My order: Specialty Pizza small 10" for $7 (like a supreme, the works, etc.) Crust is inch thick, soft except for outer layer, allowing pizza not to sag until the grease soaks in, about 20 minutes into the meal. The pizza was sufficiently tasty, but there is better pizza with fresh herbs and higher quality sausage at place nearby (hint: starts with a V). Soft drinks are served in bottles with a glass of ice. Service: Good, friendly. Adventuresome? For those of you wanting to run the gauntlet of eating at the alphabet of Mr _ Pizza places, here are some, and I have identified unused letters in case you want to open your own restaurant (Y not?). BEST pizza around! One bite and you know it's not chain restaurant pizza. The people are very friendly and accommodating. I refuse to order from anyone else and have gotten many friends hooked also. read more

Over all it was little to be desired. Pizza was okay did have decent amount of cheese on it. But the mushrooms were like whole and not chopped so just fell off the pizza while eating. Wings were super good actually the sauce was the right amount of spice and wings were crispy. The ranch was tossed in there and spilled all over the place. It also was awful, and not ranch at all. It was more like Indian, or Greek, type of yogurt sauce. I honestly would not order again. But if you want to try for yourself definitely wings (no ranch) is what I would recommend. read more

We ordered delivery to our hotel, it was okay. If I lived in the area I'm not sure I would order from here again. We ordered 10 hot wings with ranch. The wings were delicious! The ranch was not good at all. I'm not sure if they use a yogurt base, but it was runny and the taste was off. Maybe too much dill? The ranch was just slopped into the Styrofoam container. We also ordered an x-large pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. First, the only sauce choice is marinara, which was pretty good, but we were looking forward to white sauce. The mushrooms were huge and chunky. Again, just okay. It did the job, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. read more

I decided to check out the spot because I had a craving for pizza but didn't feel like driving to woodlands to back to humble. My taste for pizza and other things in our daily life is a little higher then most and I suppose because of my lifestyle growing up in New York. I went into this place with low expectation first thing I noted empty restaurant, very run down the lady and guy working the joint seemed very upset almost bothered I was walking in as a customer. No one at the register and I could hear them arguing about who should go to the register. Finally when the lady approached I explained to her the kind of things I was looking for in my pizza and how I would like prepared. She seemed rather unfocused and said yeah to everything I said with an unsure expression. She says they don't sell slices only small pie and large pie and that right there almost made me not buy as I wanted to try the thing for my craving not feed a whole family. I order a small pie and about 8 minutes later she hands me a small box. At first glance I notice the pizza pie seemed very average almost like a frozen oven pizza you buy at the store. I give it a taste some slices had more sauce, some had more cheese and others you taste the plain dough flavor. I keep eating only to taste something very sour, foul and rancid. I spit that portion out and keep eating to give it another chance and it starts to taste like what it appeared at first glance frozen oven dollar store pizza. I puked it all out. Never again will they get my business. read more

Mr G's Pizza - a bottle of water in a garbage can - Pizza Near Me - Houston, Texas

Loved it! Ordered Mr. G's twice while in Houston. Kids and adults both enjoyed it every time. The dough was soft and tasty. The sauce was great. And the toppings (pepperoni; veggie) were all on point. If I were in Houston again then I would definitely order Mr. G's again. This pizza has continued my life motto of "no such thing as leftover pizza". I will eat it all. Even if it means sacrificing my own comfort and favorite pair of pants. read more

My wife and I have been craving pizza forever but haven't gone for because we are truly disappointed by all the big chains. So I went searching for a good place online. Mr. Gs had a lot of good reviews so we decided to try it. I have to say, they definitely deserve the rave reviews. The place isn't much to look at but, hey, Greenspoint. You walk in and are greeted warmly. The smell that greets your nose is both pleasing and enticing. You can see a middle aged man in the back hand making dough. I ordered and was told it would be about 15 minutes so I went to the store to get a couple things. I get back to Mr. Gs and sit in the parking lot and smoke while my pizza finishes. Halfway through my cigarette a nice lady walks out with my pizza and hands it to me. When I get home I'm already drooling from the smell filling my truck. Needless to say it tasted as good as it smelled. My tiny, 5 foot nothing wife ate half the 15 inch pizza. It was so good and the people so warm and friendly. We will definitely be going back. read more

Was up in the Greenspoint area and wanted food delivered to the hotel. This was one of the few places willing to do so after 9pm. Overall the pizza was pretty good and decently priced. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but I was happy with this late night dinner choice. read more

I am an absolute fan of this place. Good people who CONSISTENTLY make good pies.

Authentic crust with fresh ingredients and our family considers it the best pizzeria in our area. The homemade hummus is exceptional. Service is excellent-they are warm, friendly and attentive and we highly recommend Mr. G's to everyone! read more

I ordered delivery to a hotel while on business here, and was very pleased with the quality of the pizza. The sauce in particular was excellent, and toppings generous and of good quality, and price was very reasonable. The deliverer forgot my receipt, but the lady at the store texted it to me, and they were both so very nice. There do not seem to be a lot of choices in the immediate area for restaurants, and after driving so much, I really didn't want to fight traffic again, so I'm really glad I found them. read more
