I am very disappointed with my first service at Pink Polish. It was recommended by a friend and raved about this place. But the truth for me, it was the worst service I have gotten for a regular pedicure. I scheduled for 4:45pm. I showed up and the front desk person kept offering a different service. I requested a regular pedicure on the phone when I scheduled the appointment. Usually at other nail salon, it's allow to bring few colors to try them on. Well, this place was not the case. The technician wanted me to pick one color and when I told her that I forgot the one color I wanted she tried to help me but she was rushing me the entire time. Then when she finished she got up and left. Then, few minutes later she walked by me and I realized that she was actually leaving work. No one came to check nor to explain anything to me. I sat there for 30 minutes observing and waiting. I got tired and asked another technician if someone was going to help me. One of them came checked my nails and said that the polish was dried and walked away. I felt bad because I am a business owner and I know that when gratuity is part of the salary (as a massage therapist, I appreciate my clients supporting me but i aim to serve them with respect) I like to tip well. But today, I felt that I could not tip more than 15% because the poor business style and service to new clients. Never going back to this place. read more

This is a brand new nail salon in a beautiful shopping center adjacent to the New Seasons grocery store and across the street from the Total Wine. I'm so happy I found them! I've been completely enamored with SNS powder dip manicures and so I had them done here a few weeks ago. The owner's wife did my nails and she worked on them until they were to my liking. They just opened and are still working out some of the details of their operation buy from what I see it's going to be a huge success! My friend and I came in for side by side pedicures and then we also had side by side manicures - this is rare! I love my nails so much and can't wait to return to this salon! All of the employees were friendly and made us feel welcome. They have several chairs for pedicures and offer walk-ins and appointments. I really wanted to support this nail salon. My first visit was a couple of weeks ago and I noticed some bizarre behaviours going on between staff/owner. When I went in there was only one other customer who was getting a pedicure and there were 2 or 3 employees without customers but the owner did my nails himself. I thought it was kind of strange, wouldn't he want the employees to work? They seemed a bit timid around him, even scared to ask to step out for a break. This made me a little uneasy but I just kept observing. Nails came out nice, except for the cut on my finger from his careless drilling. Fast forward to this week when I decide to give them a second chance. Once again, employees seemed nervous around the owner. It's pretty obvious that he's controlling, who knows how he treats them when customers aren't around. It's kind of uncomfortable to be around. This nail salon was excellent! I have been on the hunt for a place that does quality mani/pedis with great customer service and this is surely it. The location is directly across from New Seasons market with ample parking spaces which makes getting here a breeze. I requested an appointment through Yelp and the owner got back to me with a same day confirmation. The interior is decorated well and creates an environment that makes you want to relax and enjoy getting your nails done. They have the typical wide variety of services including SNS powder, ombré powder, gel, and shellac. The tools are sanitized and plastic bags are placed inside their pedicure tubs which gives me peace of mind that hygiene is a priority for them. One of the nail techs (Alison or Allison) helped my little sister with her nail 2 days ago. She was very patient with my sister who is 14. My sister is very confused with everything and felt overwhelmed getting her nails done for the first time. The nail tech was very transparent, walked my little sister through everything and was teaching my sister some stuff like tips and tricks! The nails turned out amazing! everything about this salon is incredible. from the customer service, the cozy interior design, to the entire process of getting the nails done, I would only ever come here if I lived in the area. stopped in while on tour and was greeted with such a warm welcome. My three stars are for the specific technician, Amy N., who was rude and disinterested. She kept disappearing in the back room to presumably look at her phone. A one hour mani pedi took 1.5 hours mainly because she kept taking breaks.
