I love my nail tech! She always start at my appointment time with no wait. Her work is flawless and lasts until my next visit.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Wow where do I begin? This nail salon is different from any nail salon in the dfw. Every nail tech in the salon knows exactly what they're doing and their technique is up-to-date. This isn't one of those salons where maybe you'll find one "good" person who does nails, no, all of nail techs here are amazing. If you think I'm lying just look at their Instagram the proof is there, and they are consistently updating their social media. They will do exactly what you want or even better than you showed them. I would also like to add that everyone here is super professional and clean (which is so important). They have good sanitary practices and they make sure the salon is nice and clean. Here some tips: *This is an appointment salon, so you will need to book prior to your visit. This is super important because you can walk in but if they are booked you will be waiting, booked appointments are priority first! I booked a week in advance, but I'd recommend booking even earlier if you can because times were already limited. The services offered and prices were clearly listed on Vagaro. I absolutely love it here! I came across my nail artist by searching hashtags on Instagram. I consider myself so lucky! This salon is in a great location and it's easy to access. It reminds me of Miami when I stepped inside! There's a beautiful palm trees painted on the walls and some of the walls are a bright pink. It's so girly and sultry. Everyone is so professional and there's actually a secretary that will greet you as soon as you enter the door. They are following all of Covid guidelines by ensuring that you were wearing a mask, providing hand sanitizer, and requiring customers to fill out forms signify that they have no symptoms. My nail artist is Lluvia (You-Vee-Uh) and she was right on time, very polite, and works very quickly. She is a professional and did a great job on my baby boomer nails which still have a lot of spark and didn't make me feel like I'm more mature than I am. They have the cutest pedicure section with a pink couch in vintage pedi spas. Although I did not get a pedicure, I didn't notice they were practicing safety cautions and the patron seemed to really enjoy it. The music is so sultry as R&B blooms from the speakers putting you in a relaxing mood. You do have to book an appointment, which I love, and the prices are very reasonable! There's even a discount for first timers. They have a wash station that is distance from everyone else, and you even get to keep your file and buffer for your return. This is the pre-party you go to before you go out. You get your pedi while you sip margaritas, chat with your girlfriend, and listen to music. It's hip. Almost too hip for my old ass. I only recognized half of the songs they played. The margaritas are free, by the way, and taste similar to one you'd get at Fat Tuesdays. Our nail techs were really nice, and did a good job. I have read some reviews that say their polish chipped, but I did not have that problem. My polish stayed intact and my toenails looked fabulous for a month. This is not a place where you go to zone out and fall asleep in the chair. Pink Mango is festive and fun. If I could give -38.50 stars, without a doubt I would. BEWARE of this business's sleazy bait & switch business practices. On 8/22/23 I made a nail appointment for 1:00 PM on 9/02/23. I received a message at 12:49 PM on the day of my appointment that Pati the nail tech was ready to see me. I walked through the door at 12:52 PM and was told by the receptionist that I was late and that my appointment was at 12:45 PM. She further told me that Pati's next client was already there and she couldn't take me. Really? The next client was already in the chair an hour early? And...appeared to have been for more than a minute. I asked if I was being charged the missed appointment fee and she said she hadn't charged me "yet". Appalled by what I was experiencing, I left, but returned minutes later to show the receptionist the confirmation email that I received showing the appointment that I MADE for 1:00 PM. Obviously someone there changed my appointment to 12:45 PM without consulting me or getting my permission. The receptionist said she'd have to talk to her manager, Ruby, but conveniently Ruby wasn't there. I suggested they not charge the fee and we all move on. At 12:59 PM I was charged $38.50...which will be disputed with my bank. These people are CLEARLY DESPERATE to make a buck and LACK professionalism and integrity. I was looking for a new salon that offered a wide selection of dip powders AND jewels for my natural nails. I also wanted a place that would not file down my nails too much and ruin my nails. The ladies here LISTENED to me and did exactly what I asked - no heavy filing and saw to the health of my natural nails. It seems they simply take better care of nails here - no shortcuts, I.e. those horrid filing machines. Not even one station had one! Jocelyn took her time and did a fabulous job. This was my first visit to this salon and I had a great time. It's a little small, but I love shops that have a homey feel. I have a good friend that used to come to my house to do my nails. He's a licensed technician but that's what I'm used to and I will always support my friends. So this was definitely a good visit to a pretty high end salon. I've seen a lot of people complain about the wait and the pedicure area. To me though I've been to other bigger more expensive places who really don't care what service you get and they just wanna get you over with and move to the next. I respect any place that will use quality over quantity. Yes I would love massage chairs at the pedicure area but I got the tulum pedicure with gel polish and my technician did a great job. Me and my coworker decided to come and try this place. However this was my coworker second time trying them out. She said that her nails lasted 4-5 weeks first time she got them done.. The price was reasonable I spent $51 that's with a tip. My coworker nails were $55 with design which still isn't bad. So I have found my new spot to come and get my nails done. I visit the shop for the first time Saturday, Paola did an amazing job on my nails. She really took the time to prep my nails and clean my cuticle correctly. I have asked several nail places to cut my cuticle and I would pay the extra and can't seem to get anyone to do it, here it's already included into the full set price. Okay, when I walked out I absolutely loved my nails, shape and length and color. Thought the girl that did them did a great job. Went in on my way home from work, and they were able to fit me in. They did tell me they typically only take appointments, but they had someone available to do it. The next day I noticed that polish start cracking. Like on every single nail. I have been on several occasions to get my nails done this last time I decided to go big for my birthday so I got long nails with multiple designs normally I get short or just an overlay well I let her do them (luvia) and the manager had me thinking that the base of my nails needed to be white for two designs that I wanted so I had the base white but then as the nails were finished I didn't like how it looked so I asked if I could change it to pink like all my other nails and they told me it was too late and they were unfortunately not able to change it and I would have to pay and come back another day. I went off a referral. The place itself is nice and people were nice. It was my first time with Priscilla. Her artwork is great from what I've seen. She soaked off my nails, I couldn't get a new set because my last set gave me mold. So I asked for a manicure no polish. Standard manicures are usually soak in water, cut the cuticles, massage and polish. She said I'm not going to cut the cuticle. No soaking, pushed my cuticles back with a wooden stick and had me go wash my hands. I asked for lotion and she had a bottle of lotion on her station for me when I came out and that was it......I'm really disappointed with my experience. I'm very glad that they explain the process with fills vs soak off with a new set. Don't bother going showing up in the evening. I called ahead of time (7:12pm) I was told they close at 8pm. I rushed over and arrived at 7:20pm and was told they won't have enough time. Horrible customer service. Horrible time management. The nail salon is a shame. I arrived this morning at 10:05 AM and was told that it would be a 30 minute wait. After an hour and a half, I decided to just walk out. I came back around 5:50, and ended up walking out once again! I felt like the girls didn't want to service me. I also had a pedicure and they cut out my ingrown nail. No one has ever attempted to address this issue. The finished product was beautiful also.
