I'll start with the pros: the employees were very friendly and the wait wasn't long for a walk in. The cons: me and boyfriend went in for a pedicure. I've gone to a lot of different nail salons for pedicures and this place was the worst. The man, I think he and his wife run the place, was very quick. Didn't do a great job with my cuticles. Rushed through putting on the nail polish and put it on thick and kept getting on my skin. The other lady doing my boyfriends pedicure brushed the hell out of the top of his foot and scraped off some skin. I've never seen people brush the top of someone's foot like that. And on top of that the massage chair didn't seem to be working all that great. Place didn't look the cleanest and that would've been fine if the pedicure was good. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It's very near to where I live. So I thought that it would be my go to place for bomb nails. I don't understand, they did an amazing job on the lady next to me. The nails on my right hand look so nice. But the ones on my left hands... They messed up on my design that I asked for... nothing like the nails on my right hand. They didn't even put a top coat on four of my nails on my left hand. I guess imma have to be going further away from my house for my nails. I haven't been here back in years, went in this pass Friday 6-8-18 for a pedicure with my sister. They don't have many nail techs 3 doing manicures nails and only one guy Tony for the pedicure. Which he ask me where I got my last pedi done cause he said they did it wrong. And he wanted to know how much I paid. He charged me $25.00 for just a regular pedi I didn't get anything fancy. So I noticed when I was ready to go to bed that my feet felt rough so I text my sister and she said the something about hers. Well he forgot to use the foot file or the foot buffer block to smooth them. And on my left foot I can still feel callus left that he didn't removed off. Smh, I just don't know how can he be the best per some of the reviews on here. read more

To be honest this was the WORST spa I've been too. The staff customer service skills is at an all time low and not to mention they are rude. The lady who was rendering the service to me at the time hurried up and rushed; and at the end of the service she asked me for a tip smh. I ended losing one of my AirPods in the spa and came back to see if I dropped it in there and the man at the front desk told me to hurry up find what I was looking for and get out; as if I didn't pay in full for the service but he must have felt some type of way when I didn't leave a tip. Last but not least one of the ladies who was working in there WASN'T wearing a mask and had the nerve to conservatively cough. Definitely won't be coming back here. read more

I went in for acrylics and a pedi. What I got was, my feet put in a bucket and cuts on every single finger. They sure made sure not to miss a single one. Using the drill on cuticles was not only painful, my fingers were bleeding hours later. Total went for 55. Meanwhile, I kept getting asked personal questions about my rents cost and if my job paid well. Oh also lets not forget the screaming children running around the place! Yeah, no. A fancy salon, this is not. This is a family-owned and operated business where you can walk in and they recognize you or know you by name. They know my preferences and the quality of work is phenomenal. I've paid double for the exact same manicure that no where near measures up to the quality of work done at LD Nails. As someone who regularly gets their nails done, it's nice to have a reliable place that you know you can go and get it done right and in a friendly atmosphere. Whoever posted about ladling sink water from a dirty sink is a lie! I've been coming here for over 10 years and their salon is always spotless! They use a bowl with plastic over that they put running hot water in for sanitary reasons. Those rotating water seats carry all kinds of bacteria. They still have the lounge massage chairs to sit in while you enjoy your pedicure. Best pedicures ever. My nails never break and they last so long. They use quality products while charging much lower prices then the places that look fancy but they use cheap powders. This is a family ran business and they have made me and my son feel like family. They make sure he is entertained, they play with him, give him toys and snacks. Great place to bring your kids so you can relax. I've tried other salons but I always come back here! I honestly dont know how I feel about this place, this was my third time coming, and the lady that;s pregnant that does my Nexgen nails keep cutting me and messing up on my nails and not doing what I asked her to do. She does what she wants, but the first time she did them, It was great!! I'm not picky at all, but if I'm paying near to 40.00 just for nails, I expect them to be the way "I" want them. Now my nails look really ugly and uneven and its not even the color that I asked for, I was literally trying to tell her that, and she never answered me. I know I will have to wait a while to get them redone due to her destroying my natural nails for doing a shape I didn't even ask for ( She was trying to fix her mistake she did on one nail shape by completely reshaping all the rest of them) LIKE I SAID, I WAS LITERALLY TELLING HER THATS NOT WHAT I WANTED!!!. And every time I try and tell her thats not what I wanted, she ignores me and kept going and kept saying, don't worry, it's fine. But it's NOT FINE! Shes not good at shaping nails at all, so next time I recommend letting Katie do your nails, not her! read more
