Edit: the polish on my thumb has already cracked within less than 24 hours. The folks didn't speak English super well--which I didn't mind--but it made it difficult to communicate to my manicurist that the LED blue light was somehow stinging my hands, and he was confused why I pulled them out so quickly. I got a simple gel manicure, and it turned out ok. I would've liked if he applied more layers, because it looked a little spotty on a few nails. It may also be because my nails are short, but it felt like the manicure didn't really do a lot to improve their appearance? I guess I'll specify next time that I'd like acrylic nails to get the length I'd like. read more

I was giving them a second chance after previously getting super glue all over me and making me cry because it burned my skin! This place needs to be shut down ASAP! I've never been treated so badly in my entire life! The male nail tech got angry with my friend, snatched her hand towards him and started aggressively cutting off the tips he had just applied because she was unhappy with the shape. I have been to this shop a few times and would pay for more than one person. I have really enjoyed the shop but there's one person in particular that puts a black eye on the shop and that is Tom. He is very disrespectful in all of my visits to the shop. I dread seeing his face. However, all of the lovely ladies are so kind in the shop. I would continue to go to the shop if it wasn't for Tom and his very rude demeanor. Today was my last straw and I will be finding a new shop. I got my nails done a week ago and on the second day one of my nails broke. Due to having work I was unable to go until the following week. Now a week later another nail is broken. RUN! The only reason I'm giving one star is because there is no option to give zero. This place was awful. I had gotten NexGen nails done a week earlier at a great place. Unfortunately, I had to get two nails fixed because I bent them back. I thought this place would be great because of reviews. I was wrong . When I walked in it was very dim and older, which normally doesn't bother me because there are talented people that can't afford the bells and whistles. However, there were many signs that I shoud have ran out of there: 1- There were no licenses in sight anywhere 2- The woman that worked on me didn't look professional (unkempt clothes and her own nails; don't remember her name, but she was older with broad shoulders) 3- There were dirty tools on the nail station. (I thought maybe they will bring new tools out for me.) So, I sat down and immediately she started sanding my nail . Big No-No! You have to soak the nail 1st, everyone knows this (plus my sis is a cosmetologist). When I stopped her she started arguing that she was just getting the top coat off . PLEASE, she would have kept going if I let her. Overall her technique was poor and clearly she did not know what she was doing. I mean I had just gotten my nails done the week before... by a professional. This woman didn't follow the same practices. When it was all said and done I had two discolored, crappy looking nails and one with a hole. Now you know she knew she did a bad job when she asked me how much I wanted to pay. I ended up giving $6, but in hindsight I wish I would have left from the beginning. When my sister came back into town, she took one look at my nails and shook her head and said, "You shouldn't have paid at all and she would have happy not to get yelled at." Moral of the story, go with your gut instinct and avoid Hollywood Nails!!! read more

I love this place. I have been coming here for over 2 years and I can't seem to find anyone else to do my nails, feet and eyebrows like that do here. I have Renee that handles my nails, and she is the bomb.dot.com every day. I look so fresh and fly, and receive so many compliments when I leave. She does a a fresh set for me each time I go and I just love it while I sip on my wine! Vivian does my eyebrows, man I tell you what I will go a month if I can't get to here before I let anyone else shape my eyebrows. She is so funny too, she will crack you up! And of course Renee is amazing with my Pedicures applying the right amount of pressure as well! I spent 3 hours in the salon and it was a huge waste of time. 1st of all, the girl who did my pedicure didn't shape my toes to match to some toe nails are longer than others and my feet look completely different. After getting my feet done, they had me sit under the dryer until my toes dried and It took them 30 mins to notice that i was waiting for my full set. The girl who started my full set kept using the drill too far on my finger nail and my finger started bleeding. The guy that works there then took over on doing my nails and continued to drill my nails after i had already gotten them drilled and he made my shape more coffin than square and thats what i wanted. I wanted french tips and they are crooked and I brought it to the guys attention and he said he couldn't fix it because he had put gel on my nails, mean while:.. I NEVER ASKED FOR GEL NAILS. EVERY single nail was crooked and there was acrylic on my actual skin. I asked him if he could take it off my skin and he said to just go wash my hands. He then proceeded to charge me $80 for crooked ugly nails and uneven toes. I will never be going back to them. Money and time I will never get back and i hope the lose buisness. read more

Even though i told her it wasnt she kept saying it was. The light didnt dry my nails good and they started to mess up when I drove off.
