I went there today and was cut and felt disrespected. I ordered the deluxe manicure. Here is my harrowing experience : 1. The manicurist cut me and caused bleeding on my index finger. 2. She spent less than a minute on the lotion massage and was doing pedicure on another client in parallel. 3. She dropped hot wax on my white hat and caused an orange stain. Tina is the worst manicurist and the receptionist lacks basic courtesy to offer a refund on the manicure. Only a $5 discount was offered. Save your fingers the pain and skip this salon. read more

I finally found my go-to spot in DFW! After moving here from Maryland, I tried several "well-known" salons in the area that were all flash and no substance--loud music, over-the-top decor, and unfortunately, terrible service. Chic Nails is the complete opposite in the best way. It's a quaint, calm, and very clean salon. I had an excellent experience getting a full set and a pedicure with Lily and Daisy. I usually get dip, and Lily was meticulous--she made sure my nail shape was exactly what I wanted and, most importantly, I didn't get nicked once! The customer service is top-tier and everyone is so friendly. If you're tired of the "showy" salons and just want high-quality work in a peaceful environment, go here. I am new to the area and have visited quite a few nail salons and now I have finally found the one that I will visit regularly. Upon entering, you can tell that it is a quite quaint location, and due to the location being one that you may have to pass regularly, there is not much of a wait. I visited today, a Saturday, and the staff greeted me with warm welcomes and asked what services I would like rather than the typical (do you want this or that) that most places say. I prefer my spa days to be separate, I did get a new overlay on my natural nails and a pedicure. Henry, my nail professional, I called him my nail God, because, Henry is one of the only professionals that I encountered that listened to what I wanted, and completed my natural, French cut overlay just fine. I prefer a thin white line, and I prefer a light pink acrylic that is cut then completed with white acrylic. The shape is perfect and the service was amazing. He offered me a drink, they have water, juices, sodas, and wine, I prefer water for hydration and he even opened my bottle for me once he arrived to the table since I was soaking the previous set off. After Henry completed my nails, I was greeted by Daisy, who is my pedicure Goddess. Daisy was very sweet and accommodating. She did explain to me the many options of pedicures they have available, and as I mentioned, this is my day of pampering, so I chose the Lava Pedicure. There are so many elements to this pedicure including a hot neck wrap, shoulder and neck massage, and a foot wrap that leaves you feeling exhilarated. I will definitely make this my primary source for all of my hand and foot spa needs. I highly recommend Chic Nails Lounge. The price reflects the services I received, but if you are more simple and less demanding than I am, this place is actually very affordable. I had soak off, acrylic cut, gel take off and polish, most expensive pedicure, and a lovely experience. It is worth the pamper. read more

I hadn't been here in a few years so I decided to come in to get my nails done. The place is clean and the people are nice and friendly. I decided to get a dip nail with tips. A nice friendly young man approached me and led me to his station. I had a hard time finding a good color for my nails. I've gotten so tanned with the sun that nothing looked like it would look good. this was my third time coming to the salon. Henry usually does my full set and does an awesome job. I made an appointment with him to have my nails removed and a manicure done since my nails were long enough underneath. He was really busy so he asked if it was OK if someone else worked with me and I understand it was really busy in there so I was OK with it. However, I had two nail techs working on me and when they were taking off my nails, the acrylic was flying everywhere. It got in my hair, on my clothes and created this white cast on my skin. I understand that it's a mess. It's okay. But when it came time for the manicure, she never cleaned me off, and I was covered in these white chunks. I wanted to go wash my hands, but she was kind of in a rush. She put the oil on me for the massage and barely massaged me at all. As she's doing it, she is rubbing this white acrylic all over my arms, and it was really gritty and uncomfortable. Then after the oil she tells me to go wash my hands and I had to wash my arms too because now this white acrylic is all over my arms. I understand things get busy and I'm not trying to be disrespectful or impatient but when I'm paying $30 for a manicure and that's what happens it felt like a huge waste of money. I would've rather have just painted my nails at home and only paid for the nail removal. I still tipped her. And I hate giving this place a bad rating because Henry usually is so awesome. But here is an attached picture with the white hue that was left on me, even after washing my hands. I really wish I didn't pay for the manicure because it made a bigger mess than if I would've just gotten my nails off and done it at home. It was also all over my clothes and unfortunately, I was wearing all black lol. I'm not sure if I'll ever be coming back here which sucks because I really like Henry. read more

I've never had so much communication with a nail tech for a pedicure before. She asked what shape, and took her time to file to get the perfect shape. I just would like to comment on how I've been a customer here for 3 years and never can get my 10% off for my loyalty visit. They give you 2 weeks to utilize this discount. If they are closed or your nail tech is unavailable you can't get your 10% off. I feel like this is bad business. It's the LEAST they could offer. The manager here is horrible and has horrible customer service and he does not do good nails. However, the other technicians are very nice and go great work. read more

Overall my nails were cute,not the best quality especially not for $150. I had to ask her to redo the topcoat a couple times bc it was oily. I hadn't gotten my nails done in so long and I've been holding out since Spring 2020. With my birthday and the holidays around the corner I was itching to get them done. This was the pick-me-up I needed! With COVID and everything, I was a bit nervous and really didn't want to choose vanity over health buuuut...I called ahead of time to inquire about their safety measures. Johnny was my technician and he did an amazing job! While I was there, 7 other patrons had arrived, so I didn't dodge all the people, but some. There was no social distancing. Johnny was very precise and efficient. He was quick, but he wasn't rushing. While he was doing my nails someone called to request an appointment with him, which made me feel even more blessed to have him as my technician for the day. I think other salons are taking greater safety measures, but if you're not too concerned, this was a great salon pre-COVID and remains a great one after. We went to this salon because I saw that all employees were vaccinated and wore mask on the yelp review. Well, this was not the case when we arrived. Also, our deluxe pedicure took over an hour. We didn't finish until 8:45pm. I must say the lady that did my husbands pedicure did a great job. She paid attention to the details and got the dead skin off his feet. I read the reviews before going and expected great services. I walked in and was greeted. I was also serviced very quickly. The lady was patient while I looked for my color. I can admit I was pretty indecisive. But she was patient and assisted. I was solely getting a manicure. She did my cuticles and cut THREE of my fingers. Two of the cuts were so bad that they wouldn't stop bleeding after 10 minutes of us trying. She noticed the bleeding wouldn't stop and offered to put nail glue on my finger. I declined. I was provided with an bandaid. One of my fingers bled through the bandaid. I've never had this happened. The best part of it all was they charged me!! Yes, I still had to pay for the service even with 3 bleeding fingers. She offered "50% off" but I'm a business owner and it should've been free. Safe to say I won't be returning. read more

PROS: Sabrina was so patient and did a great job on my nails! I would recommend her for designs and shapes. Tim was good with a regular dip overlay. I was a walk-in and was able to be seen fairly quickly. CONS: I was not offered a drink even thou others that came in after me were. Tan comes off very DOMINANT, RUDE and BOSSY. I'm not sure if he is the owner but his customer service was very SUBPAR every time I have visited. Also majority of their regular nail polish is old and we could not find a color to match my powder dip nails and I had a BASIC hot pink!
