I got here at 7:15 and the open sign was still on. As soon as I pulled into the parking spot, one of the workers locked the door and cut the open sign off. Currently my favorite threading spot in the Metroplex! I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen and they always do an impeccable job on my brows. They are following Covid precautions by requiring masks and they are wiping down seats between customers with cleaning solution. They have gone up from $6 (pre-Covid) to $7 but I still feel the service is worth it. I've had different Ladies work on me and they've all been great, can't recommend this place highly enough! read more

Now I ask for Yasda a the lady to thread my eyebrow. She is fast, precise and knows what she's doing. I went yesterday and I only got cut once on my eyebrow. I know that still sucks but she is better than the old lady. Taking away a star since I still got cut from the threading. read more

I moved to the area about a month ago and needed a new threading spot close to home or another SOI salon. My first time coming to Bollywood (on a weekend) there was only 1 lady that appeared to be working and no one greeting or giving instructions. I think she may have been doing hair or some kind of service that isn't as fast as eyebrow threading. After a while of observing this with others ahead of me and no idea on timing/availability, I just left. I could've asked but it was a Sunday and there are other places. I found a SOI in Las Colinas in the Hightower Salon building off LBJ which worked out. I gave Bollywood a 2nd try on a Monday, and it was a better experience. A lady told me to sign in, and within a few minutes I was seen. I feel like there was an area where she may have taken off more hair than necessary and could've combed over the hair to hide it but it could've been how she trimmed... other than that, the brows look good. The esthetician was pleasant and not rushing. Great location, no bells or whistles, just affordable threading off MacArthur. The only reason I didn't give a solid 4 is because of the first impression experience. Guess we'll see what my 3rd impression holds.. Worst experience ever!!!! One of the girls, named Shabnam, did a full face waxing for me and managed to peel a chunk of my skin around my cheekbone. When I nicely asked about this, she, with a full-on attitude, replied, "It must be your skin," and just stood there staring, doing nothing when I was in pain. Shabnam was so horrible that some other lady working there named Yasodha had to intervene and ask her to get me some ice. My god! I have been waxing for ages without such issues. It was the first time I encountered a service provider who blamed it on the skin. She never apologized once. Rather than offering apologies and waiver of the service fees, she made me pay the cost and dared to ask for a "TIP." She looked down on me when I did not add a tip while paying. The AUDACITY!!!. The girl was rude and unprofessional. She had zero accountability for what she did, as she did not even apologize once. However, the other girl, Yasodha, was kind and compassionate. I have visited this salon multiple times, and most of the girls are nice. However, Shabnam was horrible. @Shabnam, you could go look at my payment history. I Tip service providers well. You not getting the tip had to do with the fact that you were awful at your job and horrible at how you treated me. read more

Found this salon by accident as I was on my way to another salon. I saw it as I was going towards the 114 and made a u-turn. I pulled into the parking lot and went inside and was warmly greeted. I looked at their prices and I was amazed by their prices. It was just $5 for eyebrow threading! That is such an awesome deal as most salons are $8 or more. I told them that I was there just for my eyebrows and I waited less than five minutes. The lady who did my eyebrows was very professional and kind, but it did hurt a little bit. Some of that may be on my part as I hadn't had my eyebrows done in over a month. I think that I need to have them done every couple of weeks and it would not hurt as much. She left my eyebrows looking so nice! They had a great and even shape. To finish and help with any redness she added some aloe vera to my eyebrow and eye area. All of the ladies in there were so kind and welcomed me to return to do a full threading of my face. She mentioned that it was good for cleansing purposes and helped with acne. I will definitely think about getting this done, but may need someone to hold my hand! As a note bring cash as the prices are a $1 more if you use your card. Otherwise this salon has a lot available--not just threading, but hair treatments, facials, and so much more. read more

There is no better feeling than going into a spa and/or salon and being confident in the fact that anyone in the place could work on you and do a stellar job. I am in and out of there in minutes when I go to get my brows done. Lately I've been getting all of my beauty stuff done closer to home so I'm happy I just kind of discovered this place at random. I've been to this place four times now and I recommend asking for Jasmine! She takes her time and does a nice job. I normally ask for a clean up since I have a shape to my eyebrows already. I couldn't remember the other two girls that did my brows but took them maybe 5-7 mins and Jasmine always takes about 15 mins and I think it helps with the burns. I just noticed this place recently so I thought I'd give it a try. This was my second brow threading and, like at Everest Threading a few weeks ago, I apologized for my personal plucking hack job I have subjected myself to for my entire adult life. They were a little busy but I only had to wait about 5 minutes. The person doing the threading (hmm, are they called "threader"?) was super friendly and fast. She definitely knew what she was doing. After the threading, she applied a calming cream to my eyebrows while massaging my forehead! Nice! I was very pleased with the service & didn't receive the scolding like at the previous salon! And to top it all off, since I live in Las Colinas, it is closer and they only charge $5! I'm a fan!! read more

Had eyelash extensions done-I was sold on price. They are not the individual lashes. About 5 hours after I had them done they were already falling off. Had to go to the store and buy some glue to buy me time until the next day when I could go in and get fixed. They fixed them for me at no charge. Let's hope they last a week while I'm on vacation They Decided to charge an extra dollar for eyebrow threading if you use a card...I've been coming here for over 3 years...never been charged for using my card and there is no sign posted anywhere...if it was posted-fine but not written anywhere. I only wish they had name tags or something so I could ask for the specific girl by name. They have a log in system at the register, write your name down type of deal. They should move the log in system away from the register so people can check in and out and not have wait for the people checking out and vice versa.
