This review is just for the arm waxing. The honey wax was different than other places and not in a good way. The person who waxed me rushed through it and left spots of hair all over. She had to re do it twice and still I could see spots. I finally just gave up, paid, and left. The wax left over wasn't even removed properly and I was sticky the car ride home. Their prices are fair which is why they are getting more than 1 star but I won't be returning for obvious reasons... I'll stick to Styles of India from now on for waxing. read more

I came here for threading because I was told my favorite lady at styles of India no longer works there, I thought I would check this place out. I have blonde hair so I understand my brows can be tricky, the first thing I told the lady was PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THEM THINNER, just clean them up. I have been left with a completely different brow shape and appearance. They are so thin it makes me sad, I just pray they grow back to their previous fullness, I've heard they don't always grow back :( I am so upset at the complete disregard for my own requests about my brows... HORROR STORY HERE AT THIS SALON. Am an Indian and I know what threading is all about. I went to this place to give it a try, I was very disappointed by these old ladies practicing on clients. They don't know threading absolutely, it took (20-25 minutes) good amount of time to just get my brows done (usually it takes 5-7 minutes in a professional Salon). OMG !!!!!! Next day when I looked at my brows, I had scabs all over my eyelid, bit swollen and my brows were uneven. They ice it up my massaging the brows, ALL I NEED IS GOOD BROWS and not A MASSAGE. They Charge $5 CHEAP, I rather pay double and get my brows done in a professional Salon. I had to cover-up with Make-up, My colleagues at work is like "WHAT IS WRONG WITH UR EYEBROWS". GRRRRRR!!!! UUHHH!!! PS : These Old ladies don't use deodorant and they stink BAD !!! They try selling their facials. Please BE-CAREFUL. I would give this Salon a BIG ZERO. I'm so glad I have a local LEGIT threading place! It's hard to come across a threading location where they know what they are doing. The lady who always does my brows is very sweet and friendly. She never over shapes them, making them perfect! The end is the best when she gives you a quick eyebrow massage with aloe. The service is always great and I've never had any issues with them. I like this place alot! My friend told me about the cheap eyebrow threading. I was a little nervous to go because the threading is $5 (6 if you posy with a card). The price just ended up being an extra perk on top of the great threading provided! I loved my eyebrows! The lady that did mine, her name was Laxmi. All the ladies were nice! Great service. I've been to this place for eye brow threading and saw new people everytime I went .I don't know of any other places so this is the only place where I can go. I had my eyebrow waxing and I've mentioned to the lady that my skin is very sensitive and she needs to be more careful with everything she does. She pulled my skin off while waxing my eye brows. Also, she said that she needs to do a little bit of threading after waxing whic she ended up doing both on my skin and my skin peeled off due to being handled very harshly. I will not recommend this place to any one if going for eyebrow waxing. Also, the staff do not talk in english. NOT WORTH IT. THE LADY I GOT RUSHED This is my first yelp review. I went into this salon for the first time to quickly get my eyebrows ($6) and upper lip ($4) done. When I walked in the lady blatantly gave me an "up and down" look and I believe she decided how much I would pay/tip and based the service on that. The entire time the lady doing my eyebrows had an attitude as if she was doing me a huge favor for the service I was paying for. She didn't greet me, make any eye contact, say thank you for the tip I left or reply to the "bye" I said as I was leaving. The experience was uncomfortable and cold The unfriendly attitude would have been okay if the quality of service was good--however that wasn't the case. I added a sideburn wax ($6) which she rushed through and didn't do a thorough job--not worth it. Overall, NOT worth the service. It took me a couple of visits to get use to this place since I was so use to my go-to spot back in Colorado, but once I became a regular I can't imagine going anywhere else for waxing and threading. You know that awkward feeling of doubt and skepticism you feel before you go to a new eyebrow threading joint? Definitely felt the skepticism before walking in here. I actually went during my lunch break expecting it to be packed and I would have to wait and be annoyed, but it wasn't packed. I got in just before the lunchtime rush on a Friday. The woman who did my brows was attentive and took her time, but in the end I didn't come out with the shape I had hoped for. I came here in hopes of getting beautiful long eyelash extensions but I WALKED AWAY WITH CROOKED AND PAINFUL EYELASHES. I'm truly concerned about how they apply the lashes. The lashes were very cheap and the glue was black. During the procedure I even noticed my eyes were glued together. After a long tedious battle they managed to open my eye. I was beyond terrified. I am home, staring at myself in the mirror and my lashes look horrendous. They are uneven and my eyes are swollen. I sure hope I did not get an infection. I was satisfied with my eyebrows but was not happy with the eyelashes. I got individual lashes on a Tuesday and had to go back on a Thursday to get my eyes re-done. Tuesday night they starting coming off. I had to pull them off because they didn't look right. They will charge you an additional $12. read more

I am super picky and worried about letting just anyone do my eyebrows. If someone messes up your brows the growing it period is a nightmare. Been there done that. So I finally tried another salon for threading. Coming from India, I do have high expectations from Salons. Fortunately, this salon has passed the test and I'm so glad I tried this place. Their rates are pretty much similar to the other Salons in Irving. They charge $5 for eyebrows and $3 for upper lips. It's $8 total if you pay cash and additional $1 convenience fee if you pay by card. The staff is friendly and their work is professional. I'm a happy and satisfied first timer. I stopped in here Saturday morning. I had threading done a loooong time ago. I was there when they opened at 10am and so I was the first customer. It's a little painful at first but you kind of get used to it. And the girl I had did an amazing job. Super cheep. I had my eyebrows done for $5. I've been here a few times and you definitely get what you pay for. $5 is definitely a deal for eyebrow threading but the last time i was in there, the lady who did my eyebrows hands reeked of whatever she had eaten for lunch. I kept telling myself the threading would go by quickly but the smell was terrible. Laxmi used to be my go-to but I think she's gone and the other ladies aren't very friendly and you definitely have to tell them you want to keep your eyebrows thick otherwise they will thread too thin.
