Bollywood Salon and Spa Threading Bar isn't a fluffed up spa, but it has pretty much everything you need. I got my brows and upper lip done. They were quick and efficient. The only thing I would complain about was that I had a hard time communicating with the woman who was doing my brows. I like my brows to be as thick as possible, and she took off a little much for my taste, but I don't really fault her for that because I didn't really try to communicate with her. I would come back here if I was passing through the area. read more

YASSSSS, this is my new favorite salon to get my brows threaded AND it's only $5 #winning. I used to go to Royal Beauty off of North Beltline in Irving but Bollywood is so much better. The workers are super friendly and they speak English :) Also the establishment is very up-kept so that's a plus. Nita was my threader (idk if that's the correct term lol) and I loved her; she talked to me and she listened to exactly what I wanted. She didn't rush through my brows and actually took time to make them look fabulous. It's kind of hidden if you don't exactly know the area, but it's located right next to RockFish. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

This a 1 star for one of the threaders the shop is fine usually has people who know what they are doing. For some reason today is a different story. She is the shortest one in there they won't tell me her name. Long story short I finished with 2 different lengths, extremely thin eyebrows, oh and 2 completely different shapes. Then when I complained she didn't understand. Needless to say I had to wait another 15 minutes to get them fixed. I'm officially over this place. read more

First time here. The location on MacArthur and Kinwest is just too convenient to not stop by and try at least once. I was sort of greeted when I walked in, signed my name on the list and waited for no longer than 5 minutes. I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 3pm so it wasn't too busy and there were only 2 people ahead of me. I forgot to ask the name of my threader (so sad because she was really good) but made sure to tell her I just wanted a clean up and to keep the thickness of my brows. I was nervous after reading several reviews about their brows being too thin. She did an excellent job and I will be returning. Staff isn't overly friendly and I didn't really expect them to be, they do their job and they do it quickly. Only $5 if paying with cash, you can't really beat that price. read more

I love this place! 5 bux for an eyebrow threading. They do a great job and super affordable. Definitely recommend them.

I live in Dallas and have been going to a threader at my hair salon for over a year. I love her - she's excellent and quick...BUT, she was booked this week and I needed a last minute thread for my lip and brows. I yelped near my work in Irving and found this salon. They are JUST as good as my Dallas threader...and best of all...WAY cheaper! $5 brow, $3 lip. I was way impressed. This will be my go-to place for now on. read more

I went here to get my eyebrows and lips threaded, because of the reviews, however I was not satisfied. I told the lady to not make my eyebrows thin, and do not give it a arch shape, however that is exactly what she did. I've been growing my eyebrows out for weeks now, and now I have to start all over again... read more

Laxmi use to tread my eyebrows! I've been back several times over the last few months and and she hasn't been here, they keep saying she's out of town. I'm starting to think she's left and they just aren't telling her regular customers. Does anyone know if she still works here? read more

I walked in and was immediately able to sit down to get my first eyebrow tint ever. It was a little scary but they did them exactly like I would like, and then offered threading for $5 additional which I couldn't turn down. Reasonably priced and very good quality! I also had to get a henna tattoo while I was there which turned out great! Definitely my new favorite spot and I will keep going back. read more

Awesome facial services by Ms.Shireen.. Highly recommended!! Went for a shahnaz gold gel facial. Vert relaxing. One of the best facial treatments in Dallas Fortworth area. read more

Today was my third visit here and I am not happy with my eyebrows. I was happy the first time but my last two visits had not been good for my brows. Not going back ! read more

For the price, there is no complaining here. My brows are a little thinner than I like, but I always feel that way anywhere so I may just be sensitive and attached to my thick brows. I was in and out in 10 minutes and didn't break out afterwards like I sometimes do. I will definitely be back! read more

Still loving this place. This time I also tried eyebrow tinting, which I probably will not be able to live without in the future! Support small businesses like this! Save $$ too! read more

Love love love! I am soooo picky when it comes to my eyebrows but today I decided to give this place a try and get my eyebrows threaded and I am so glad I did! For $5 you can't beat this..... I WILL BE GOING BACK! read more

I love coming here to get my eyelash extensions! The tech was so patient with my fluttering eyes (thanks to the caffeine), and was so nice! $25 + tip for eyelash extensions is insanely affordable. If you went anywhere else for the same service, you would be paying double or triple the price! read more

Quick, affordable, and nearly painless eyebrow threading! Highly interested in going back for henna tattoos. Only downside is that it tends to get hot and a little crowded in the shop. read more

Always fast and reliable service. Different ladies do me each time I come in, but they all do a great job. For a $5 eyebrow thread you can't get much better than that. read more

Sweet ladies, quick, gentle service! I went in to just get a lip thread, expecting to pay $8 (because that's what I pay in Uptown), but I only paid $3!! Bring cash, because there's a minimum $5 credit card charge. I'll be coming back to this salon. read more

Love it! It was my first time there today. Used to go to another threading salon but they started slacking. Lax did by brows and upper lip today. She really took her time and did it properly. I will definitely go back. read more

Great service, but staff can be more friendly, but overall my eyebrows turned out great!

I was in and out in about 10 minutes, I wanted to get my upper lip threaded and didn't have time to hit up my normal salon. I've been doing this for years and have become used to it, but this was one of the more painful experiences I've had. I actually got a small cut on my upper lip...not exactly the place you want to potentially scar.. It was quick and cheap but after how painful that experience was I don't think that I would do my eyebrows here. read more

They do a decent job of threading but I made the biggest mistake by letting Manu trim my hair. I specifically mentioned not once, but several times, not to trim beyond an inch but she simply chopped off my hair. Four inches gone!!! And the attitude they have is worse. They are not apologetic neither they care. I'm never going back there again. read more

This was my first time at the salon! I recently moved to Irving. Initially I was scared and nervous whether they could keep up the good treatment by my previous salon. But had a good experience , Im a fan yes. I would definitely go again. I had my upper lips, lower lips and chin threaded. The person who did it for me was very kind and polite, when she started it was terribly painful, I literally had tears, she saw that and asked, whether I wanted to go for waxing, I said no! as I have always threaded anything on my face. Then she took the time to analyze a method in which I would feel no pain at all. I was surprised, it did not take more time and when i took a look. She did it perfect! i did not give it a 5 star, because its only my first time! Finally not the mention the LOW COST , which highlighted the experience :) read more

I was very disappointed with the final result. I have gaps in my eyebrow. Which the technician also pointed out. I've been getting my brows threaded for many years and this has been the worst service ever. I was still expected to pay full price. read more

AVOID this place if you want eyelash extentions. Went there on 8/15/2018 to have full eyelash extensions. In the evening some of my eyelashes fell out. So I went back the next day in the afternoon. They fix it but the same thing happens in the evening before I went to dinner part of it is falling off. I can not go back the following day since I have to go out of town. So I have to go to the store and look for solution to remove all the eyelashes. I will never go back to this place again. read more

I have been here twice now, once for waxing services and once for eyebrows. I was very satisfied with the services on both occasions. I found that the ladies who work here are friendly, and the salon seems a lot more clean than the other salons in the MacArthur area. I recently had my eyebrows done with Lakshmi, and she was absolutely fabulous. I have had my eyebrows done by many many different people, and she was one of the best - friendly, careful, and listens to what you want. I will be a frequent customer from now on, and I highly recommend this salon to others. read more

Manu threaded my brows and did exactly what I wanted. She didn't take off too much hair like other places and kept my brows thick. She is very polite and checked to make up sure I was ok throughout the service. I will definitely be back to see her. read more

They are usually bad with appointments and in case they are unable to accommodate you, they deny your booking altogether. Some of their services are reasonably priced but in general this place is quite unreliable for last minute plans. read more

I'm still debating whether my eyebrows are worth the pain and roughness that the women put you through. They don't do a bad job, but compared to other eyebrow threading sessions I've been though, it could have been a lot gentler. read more

Most horrible receptionist here.. Super rude woman !!! And these people are just greedy about making money.. They will give you appointment and then keep another back to back appointments with the same person, and make you wait like ages. I went for a facial , took an appointment 3 days before to confirm whether the person is available or not and when I came in for the service , the woman at the counter was super rude. After a while they sent some other person to finish the facial whose service was super awful. She left all the cream stuff on my face . They took almost 2.5 hours for one service !!! No value for time and on top of that worst customer service ! The lady with whom I made the appointment couldn't complete the service since she had crazy back to back appointments even after when I booked my time with her. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!! When I asked for explanation that receptionist was so rude and said you should have said earlier that I can come later if that lady was busy !!I DONT KNOW HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE RUNNING THIS BUSINESS WITH SUCH A HORRIBLE OWNER.. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE.. THEY ARE LIARS!!According to them customer is last and money is first!! The owner actually humiliated in front of her other customers and staff.. Awful experience !! Will never go back read more

I have been coming here for about a year now and I have always been very well taken care of and their work is always perfect. They deserved this positive review long ago, but better late than never. I get my eyebrows and lip threaded every other week and I've have almost all of the ladies do them at some point. I'm always happy. And the cost is very reasonable. Thanks! read more

I guess I went on a bad day because I did not have a great experience like everyone else. First off these ladies are the slowest threaders ever! If you enjoy pain this place is for you because you literally feel ever hair slowly being pulled one by one. Next I got my brows tinted but something was wrong with their water so she couldn't wet a towel to wipe off the color. Instead, she used a dry paper towel and told me it will look better after I was my face at home. And OH! Lets not leave out the flies!! Never again! I just hope my brows can forgive me. read more

Had a great experience here. Staff are friendly, pricing is amazing, atmosphere is good. The location is cleaner than most places in its class, but a little room for improvement. I plan on going there again. read more

I don't know how this place got more than one star. I only gave it one because the prices are great considering its between Valley Ranch and Las Colinas. The service was terrible and the threading wasn't great either. I've given this place 3 chances. On the 3rd chance I walked out without getting threaded. The first 2 times I went they missed hair and didn't shape my eyebrows like I wanted them. On the 3rd and last trip I was in a hurry and stopped here thinking I can do it cheaply and quickly and be on my way. When I walked in 3 other women were waiting. Not one of the women working in this place acknowledged me. Not One!! After I asked how long the lady she (pointing at one of the other women) is almost done. I waited for 30 minutes while she threaded other ladys who walked in after I did never bothered to explain or give me a better time frame. I would rather she have told me to come back later. I finally walked out and too my business and money to European Wax Center. read more

Close to home and affordable. Threading is painless and the fruit facials are a nice touch.

Loved this place. Friendly staff. Affordable. Great service. Sapana did a very good job with my Facial and eyebrow threading.

Loved this place! I don't have to wait long and the threading process doesn't take long either. I like my eyebrows thick and they never thread them too thin. I'm sad that I am moving and can't come here anymore :( read more

I went in for a full leg wax and she finished it in less than 30 minutes. Super speedy. There were a few stray hairs left, but I think they were hard to get b/c I shaved. The rooms were comfortable as well. I used to go Styles of India, but I think I just found my new favorite place. read more
