I needed a new stylist and decided to try Voss. I wanted to update my highlights and get a cut. Kyndell was available. After chatting for a few minutes about my hair and my expectations, she went to work. She had a great personality and answered all my questions. The end result was more than so had hoped for. My hair looked EXACTLY like I wanted. It wasn't too dark or too light. It was perfect! I had to hug her before I left. I found my new stylist! About the salon itself. It is a really cute little place. Everything is super clean. All the stylists were friendly with each other and their clients. Everyone smiled and spoke to each other. If you call be prepared to give your credit card info over the phone to hold your spot. I had never been asked to do this before, but it was very convenient when I was paying after my service. You don't have to use the same card either. If you are a first time guest you will receive a little gift. read more

10/10 not 5/5 out of 5! Been with Danita since January, and let me tell you, I'm SO picky about my hair, and she NAILED IT. She did my extensions, and a few days ago, I came in for a mini highlight/money piece, and I am IN LOVE!! You can tell she really cares about her work, and I loved that she was honest about what we could achieve the minute I sat in her chair. I came here for a haircut and re-layering on a Friday morning. I arrived and waited a few minutes for someone to come to the front and get me checked in. They'll offer you something to drink, I realized mimosas are an option but I didn't have the sense to ask what I could choose from so I ended up with just a small bottle of water. Amy was my stylist and she was so kind! We talked through options for my hair given its texture and length and then we were off! I loved all the products she used during the wash and dry process and she added a leave-in conditioner before actually cutting my hair. When she was done cutting it, she blow dried and straightened my hair to make sure I was happy with it! Since it was my first time, I got to take $25 off my haircut for following Voss Salons on Instagram at checkout. I was really happy with the whole experience and even though I won't get the $25 off, I would still come back for my haircuts! read more

I'm giving one star because my hairstylist was really friendly and made me feel comfortable considering it was my first time there, they did not make me aware of how expensive the service was going to be. I ended up getting a cut and a highlight which came out to be $285 and they didn't even highlight the bottom layer of my hair only the top... I even heard them say that during the cut and I'm not one to argue when it comes surprising but I would never recommend this place nor come back... Staff was friendly and accommodating when I had a last minute change in plans. My hair was sweaty and disheveled, but I left getting exactly what I needed and asked for. My stylist gave suggestions and helped me make a good decision about what new style I wanted. I just got a haircut, but took about 6 inches off and it felt amazing. They turned my hair red and I went in as a blonde!! I asked for a simple all over color. light brown is what I wanted not RED... I know Darrius knew he messed up because he was literally scrubbing tf out of my scalp to get the red out.. but he didn't say anything until I mentioned my hair BEING RED. I literally cried because it's my HAIR. Overall if you aren't sure you can execute something DONT DO IT! They have these intro stylists playing with your hair like it's cosmetology school. After lots of research, I scheduled an appointment online for Saturday at 9:30 AM with a stylist whose price was $73. The website also mentioned they would charge a 3% surcharge if credit card was used so I pulled out cash the day before. As I was pulling into the parking lot getting a message that the stylist is running 15-30 minutes behind. I told them this would not work for me as I was on a tight timeline. Never got a response back. When I went inside they told me the stylist is running 30 minutes behind because the previous client was late. The receptionist proceeded to tell me the prices online were wrong and my stylist is more expensive. I told her that I booked for a certain time and a certain price - I would expect them to honor that. Nope. Then I asked if there was anyone else that could do my hair. There was but for a much higher price which wouldn't work for my budget. I then asked if someone else could shampoo me and maybe by then my stylist would be free. The receptionist said absolutely! Unbeknownst to my knowledge, the lady that shampooed my hair was also told to cut my hair. This was never approved by me. When I went to go pay, the receptionist told me that they gave me a complimentary service (nothing of such was given). She also told me that the stylist who cut my hair is usually $93 but they discounted it to $83. I was over it and just wanted to get out, so I gave cash. I was then told they don't accept cash. This place is SO mismanaged. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I came across Voss as I live really close to where the new location opened up, and I wasn't disappointed. My hair has been absolutely fried because I went blonde half a year ago, and I was in desperate need of a trim. I also wanted to go back to darker hair because the blonde was SO high maintenance. I was able to get an appointment pretty fast and loved the results. My only complaint about the place is that NO ONE wears masks. It's like COVID doesn't exist in this salon, I was the only one wearing a mask the entire time I was there. If you're COVID paranoid definitely avoid this place. This salon uses apprentices while charging prices of a full-service salon. I had a very disappointing experience and the manager Denistias refused to give me a refund. No one asked me before the service or when I made the appointment if I agree to have an apprentice practice on my hair. This should be disclosed when you make the appointment! read more

If you're going to use this salon, for God's sake DO NOT USE CARMEN!!! She's a walking disaster. She not only messed up my hair color, (giving me orange hair instead of dark brown) but she then tried gaslighting me and bumped me for another client. So had a 130pm appointment which I confirmed twice, once with Carmen herself and the receptionist. When I arrived at 130pm she tells me my appointment was at noon and that I must've heard wrong. She then told me that she had another client coming in so theres nothing she can do. Very rude and unprofessional. Avoid Carmen if youre going to go to Voss, she's not worth the time, headache or your money. read more

Oh my goodnes! Kajal is absolutely wonderful. She is very detailed. She has a technique unlike any I've seen, from the way she uses the water to not get on your face while washing your hair; to the way she cuts your hair exactly as you asked. Her conditioner massage is great too (more please Lol). I am so glad Ivan matched me with her.
