First and last visit here. Got a facial because the sign outside said $25, went inside and their brochure said $35.. okay. They ended up charging me $45. I've paid over $100 for a visit of a facial when it's worth it but if I had to pay them for their worth, I would have paid them $10-$15 and that's still being mindful for their time and a little effort that was put in. The facial wasn't relaxing at all. The scrub kept going in my mouth and her response was "are you okay?" No.. you're feeding me scrub and I'm paying you for this? I'm not okay! For starters, they don't bother to wipe your eyebrow hairs off your face or put aloe vera, which is something they always did before so I'm not sure why these new people aren't doing that. However, when going to the counter, the lady that threaded me told the lady at the register to charge me $8. I wish I could leave zero stars! I came in here and asked for full face. The older lady that did them refused to let me take off my eyebrow makeup and proceeded to thread them that way. After she was done I saw how terribly she had left my eyebrows. She left them so uneven and just threaded chucks off on both eyebrows. Terrible service. Once I told the front desk lady she only took off the amount for the eyebrows and forced me to pay for the rest of the full face. Terrible service, people that don't know how to properly thread brows and front desk is the worst too! I do not recommend anyone going to this place. I only give this place 2 stars because the lady that does my eyebrows is very nice and takes her time. Other than that, I have NOTHING good to say about the ownership or the way business is handled here. First off, the ladies that work there don't seem to understand that it is rude to start arguing with customers in the salon. They argue about who cleaned what last, who took their break last, etc. It's all very petty and comes off very rude. Last time I went there was only 1 other girl there waiting to be helped. All 6 or so beauticians were present that day and her and I STILL had to wait because.....they were too busy mopping the floors. One lady was actually getting her hair blow dried by another one while the others were mopping floors. I waited an extra 10 minutes for just that. Like I mentioned above, the lady that I usually go to is nice and tries to listen to whatever requests I may have. Heena Salon also deserves more than 1 star because they are very inexpensive as well. I can get my eyebrows and upper lip done in under $10 so I can't complain there. read more

This place is the best I have found for eyebrow threading. No appointments, walk ins only, quick, easy and the best part is that they are the cheapest I have ever seen! They are $4 for eyebrow threading (used to be $3 when I started going to them years ago but I times are a' changing, haha). Yes you don't get the same necessarily person twice and it isn't a fancy salon by any means but they are less than half the price of most threading places and they have always done a good job. Had to be the worst experience in a salon ever. I was getting my hair and makeup done as part of a bridal party..First, I explained that I wanted a simple blow dry with extensions.... the lady stared at me like she had no idea what I was talking about. Then I told her I wanted a double wash and no conditioner because my hair tends to get very oily quickly.... she said OK OK and ended up putting conditioner because my hair was too rough and dry...ummmm I THINK I know my hair better than anyone, such BS. Then I had my makeup done...I had a picture of the look I wanted (heavy dramatic eye, cut crease, contouring, false eyelashes etc). She nodded and seemed to understand and I felt that this would be a good experience... First she asked me about 5 x to take out the picture and show it to her... even after seeing the pic so many times, the end result looked NOTHING like the picture. She used her FINGERS and QTIPS to "blend" the makeup...She drew on these ugly eyebrows that looked like commas. The worst part? She said she doesnt' "do" false eyelashes...she didn't know how to put them on. OMG. Who in the world calls themselves a makeup artist and refuses to put on eyelashes??? By this time I was extremely upset. My husband, who knows nothing about makeup, said the makeup looked horrible... I'm not a makeup artist but I could have done a much better job. Finally, it was time to get my hair done... the girl who was doing my hair didn't seem to understand what I wanted (a simple blow dry with extensions applied afterwards).....because 5 minutes later, my extension was falling out. Going by the reviews, I'm sure they're good with threading and henna application, but I would stay far far away from them.. their hair and makeup people are extremely incompetent. The owner claimed that everyone's a licensed cosmetologist yet these people didn't seem to understand how to work with extensions and actually refuse to put on false eyelashes. This location is not like the Richardson one. The quality of "beauticians" is really inferior. My 16 year old daughter was driven to tears because of the rough handling while threading. Her face was swollen and some spots were bleeding. This was not my daughter's first time threading. It was the first time in this location. The beautician even told her she had bad eyebrows which is not very sensitive. My daughter is usually complemented for her naturally thick and shaped eyebrows. Eyebrows look even and as I like them (not too thin), my stylist solicited my opinion at each step of the way, and she was very nice about me needing a tissue (it's been a while since I did threading and though it didn't seem to hurt too much, the tears came quickly!). The WORST Heena location by far. I typically go the location in Richardson, and I absolutely love that one. They're kind, gentle, well mannered, and they do an amazing job. I will NEVER come back to the Irving location. Not only did my technician tint WAY outside of the lining of my brows, going against what I specifically requested, she blamed me and said "Next time, tell me what you want. It's not my fault. You have thin hair, so it's hard." Wait, isn't that the point behind tinting? She scratched me twice as she tried to sloppily wipe some of the damage away. I ended up spending ten minutes at the salon cleaning up the job myself. Yes, I paid money at a SALON, and ended up doing my own brows there lol. Please save yourself the trouble. I've always had a fine experience at Heena. I've gone for threading and waxing. It's never going to be easy to get the hair ripped out of your face or legs, so you really can't expect a gentle experience on that front. I've also enjoyed geyyin heena done there.
