Well.. Sunday was a tough day to find an Haircut place and i used yelp and found this right around the corner where i stay... A bit hesitant but i reached and found lots of parking space... its is a small but decent place and i got to experience a courteous person who used the clippers and groomed my hairs in the back and sides ... checked on with the mirrors with me and adjusted further after my feedback... it was scissors next and for my haircut to be done!! Its very inexpensive and i think it supports an asian vibe and feel for a haircut!! read more

Dump of a place. People and the place need a major uplift. Came here for a facial and the person who did my facial was super chatty. Did not stop complaining and bitching about the owners, people who come there and everything in general for the whole 45 mins. I think her name was Sanjana. Those 45 mins of my life were one of the brutal ones. I have to say though.. the facials was not bad. We be whole experience could have been better but she is good at her job. read more

Been looking for a good threading salon and facial spa in the DFW area for a while now but have had no luck. Coming to Nature's Glow, I was greeted by warm staff who knew exactly what they were doing. I got their Saffron Facial and can I just say my face was glowing after. I come back now every month for my threading and facial and am now confident to get my hair done here too. Great new staff and great new vibe! Did I mention they are inexpensive. First time here after a recommendation from a coworker. Sanjana was the one helping me out with my beauty needs and she was great to work with. She listened to my concerns, analyzed my problem areas and we talked about how to work around fixing them. I'll definitely be going back to see her. As for the facilities, it was in a pretty good location, clean, and well lit. The other great perk about the place is the price. It is more than Heena Salon for eyebrow threading, but I didn't leave with 8 cuts in my brow like I did at Heena's; so quality is what you'll pay for at this place. I was told weekends get really busy. I went in on a Monday so Sanjana got to take her time with me, which I greatly appreciated. With the $5 off check in offer, I paid a total of $26 with tip for stuff that would've normally cost me about $45 in Cali- so no complaints here! read more

I went to this same salon 2 years ago and one of the ladies did an amazing job with the bangs I wanted. I went again a couple days ago to get a simple haircut with the same bangs and eye brows threaded. (A different lady worked on my hair this time). I came in, the door made noise and no one came out. I said hello 3x still no one came out. I sat down on the chair and a worker saw me as she was doing something with the trash can and asked what I wanted. I told her eyebrows and a haircut. She did my eyebrows fine as I requested. The haircut was a DISASTER. I showed her a picture several times of how I wanted my bangs and even showed her the gesture of the long rainbow bangs. I told her I didn't like the layer another lady did and if she could add another- no short layer! She blowed dried my hair to make it look nice but it was not looking good. Every time I would tell her how I wanted my bangs, she kept saying "ok ok". She kept twisting them and making them shorter! Never trying to make a rainbow. I told her I wanted my bangs long to my nose and they came out straight, short and to my eyebrows! My hair looks awful and choppy (it looks like a mullet). I told her to just stop bc she is not doing it how I'm telling her and she's making it worse. There were 2 other workers there and saw what was going on, she spoke in their language, one worker saw the picture I was referring and neither didn't bother to help! As I was checking out, one of them kept starring at me, I smiled at her and she kept starring. Worst service ever. The "stylist" who did my hair started with an R. The place was easy to find and Sanjana gave me an appointment the same day. I felt very comfortable with Sanjana doing my hair and my eyebrows. Every time I come out of a salon in US, I felt like my hair cut was not worth the price and no where close to the hair cut back in my home country. But, this was my first visit to this salon and I must say I am really happy with the service. I'd recommend this salon for anyone who have the same feeling that I have when you walk out of a salon. I went to this place after reading 5 start reviews on yelp. This place a very ordinary with very average service. For me the hygiene level was lowest. I had to use the robe with stains of masks from previous costumer. My beautician didn't know English, so communication was nil. Service though was not bad, but certainly not worth 5 starts in my view. read more

Awesome price on waxing. They take walk ins and its pretty consistent on a weekday after work, but you can still get in and out in about a half hour, maybe a few minutes more with a short wait. Casual place. They also do threading, which is also great. Be specific on haircuts, just communicate what you want and you'll get that. They do great men's cuts too. Great place! read more

By far the worst hair experience I have ever had. Making the appointment was a challenge and took about 5 minutes struggling through language barriers. I only took one because I needed a cut today for a major event on wednesday. That was my first mistake. I told my stylist that I wanted to keep as much of the length as possible -- I had (past tense) beautiful locks halfway down my back that I'd been growing out for over a year for my wedding this may. She showed me how much she intended to cut off -- about 2 inches -- great. When I ran my hand through my hair when she was done, I saw she had taken off almost 6 inches. Not only that, but the layers and angles I requested are lopsided. When it's in a ponytail, the right half of the tail is just missing. My hair is extremely thick, so now I just look like I have a deformed trapezoid on my head. Will have to pay another $30+ for a hair cut somewhere else to have it fixed and will wind up with even shorter hair for my wedding. Finally, the cost was $35! Avoid at all costs. Just go to Great Clips or literally anywhere else. read more

Samjhana is the person you want to get your threading and facial from. she know what she is doing. i have a very sensitive skin, i used to get blemishes after threading but Samjhana's hands are just magic. it is painless when she threads and i don't get blemishes. if you need a hair cut Kenna does a wonderful job. First the good: I've been going to Nature's Glow Salon & Spa for a few years now, and every time, Sanjana has done an excellent job with my eyebrow threading. The mehendi they sell here is great as well (the only problem is that the hole in the cone is often cut a little too big for my taste). Now the bad: If I hadn't gone last Friday, I would have rated this place the full 5 stars as I've never had an issue with eyebrow threading here. However, when I went on Friday, Sanjana was busy with another client, so a different employee did my eyebrow threading. This person was completely new, and had no idea what she was doing. She broke the string on my face six times (I counted), and rested her palms directly on my eyes, even after I told her specifically not to!! Furthermore, she ended up giving me about 10 small cuts in my eyebrow area because of the way that she was threading. In the end, she didn't even do a very good job with the shape, and I had to request her to trim my eyebrows and fix the shape myself. Unless I am able to meet with Sanjana, I don't think I'll be coming here again. read more

I have been a client to this salon since when they first opened their location in Valley Ranch about 2-3 years ago. Over time, I have gotten to know their owners and even brought in more clients for them (my family and friends). They have had several new workers over time but I understand that is how business works but I always got my eyebrows done by Sanjana. My family and friends whom I introduced to Natures Glow Salon loved this place but overtime her service changed and her attitude was not so great. I had been getting a lot of complaints about Sanjana but I always ignored it and continued to go to her. One day my cousin and I took our lunch break to visit Sanjana and my cousin simply told her "you kind of messed up my eyebrows the last time so if you can please be careful". Sanjana very ruddy replied to her and said "are you gonna sit down because I have a customer that has an appt.". I am a business woman and we ALL know that is NOT how you treat any customer. I ignored that too as well and got my eyebrows done by her while my cousin sat in the car. I continued to visit the salon and what what a BIG TURN OFF to me was when I TRIED to get my eyebrows done by her yesterday (Tuesday). I went to the salon at around 7:30 and asked to get my eyebrows done. Sanjana suggested for me to come Wednesday but I told her I need to get it done today due to an event I had going on the next day. MIND YOU: she had NO OTHER CLIENT IN THE SALON!!!! I told her that I am willing to wait. I checked the time and she still had 30 minutes until closing time and threading eyebrows only takes about 5 minutes. She just moved her hand in a motion as if she's telling me to leave. I stood there for about 15 seconds just staring at her in SHOCK of how she treated me ... not only because I am a repeat customer but simply because that is just NOT NOT NOT how you treat anyone. She laughed and motioned me to leave again. I just turned around and left. I am VERRRYYYY disappointed. I know Raj and his wife would not allow any of their employees to treat customers like the way Sanjana would. Even if I had gotten there at 7:55 pm, Sanjana should have given mer service. The door says that they close at 8 pm but 7:30 pm and certainly not 7:59 pm. I now understand what my friends and family members meant by all the comments they gave to me. They just lost a repeat customer and I am NEVERRRRR even turning my care towards this shopping center again. I hope to see the owners in person so I can tell them in person. BUT it seems like Sanjana is their favorite employee so I don't think they will do anything to her anyway. Hopefully this time they do ... this is for future clients that are looking into this place. If you want horrible customer service .. then go ahead and visit them. read more

Had very bad experience took keratin complex treatment and when washed after 3 days it came back to normal when showed they promised for a treatment again and they dint .150 bucks gone waste and more than money they should follow some ethics and a least for their business should care for customer satisfaction , not even satisfaction there is absolutely no result after 3 hrs of treatment.am very upset and i lost trust am really very excited before the treatment but the way people treated me by saying stories really irritated me.please try to be genuine. This place sucks! I tried making an appointment and the lady told me that the hair stylist only comes in on fridays and she was not working that friday. This was on a monday! She gave me appointment for the next friday. They also moved my appointment from 6 30 to 6 the previous wednesday and I agreed. The friday I was supposed to get my hair cut they call and say the stylist is sick! They have another stylist coming in on saturday and they say she is booked! For having waited for two weeks to get my hair cut, they cannot make amends and put me in on saturday?? I do not recommend this place! It sucks! read more
