This is literally the best nail salon I've been too in DFW. Everyone here is so skilled and they do it so fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very friendly staff and they have some good champagne.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I mean look at these nails! I've been about 5 times and I will definitely keep coming back
I went there today and was cut and felt disrespected. I ordered the deluxe manicure. Here is my harrowing experience : 1. The manicurist cut me and caused bleeding on my index finger. 2. She spent less than a minute on the lotion massage and was doing pedicure on another client in parallel. 3. She dropped hot wax on my white hat and caused an orange stain. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tina is the worst manicurist and the receptionist lacks basic courtesy to offer a refund on the manicure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only a $5 discount was offered. Save your fingers the pain and skip this salon.
I am new to the area and have visited quite a few nail salons and now I have finally found the one that I will visit regularly. Upon entering, you can tell that it is a quite quaint location, and due to the location being one that you may have to pass regularly, there is not much of a wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I visited today, a Saturday, and the staff greeted me with warm welcomes and asked what services I would like rather than the typical (do you want this or that) that most places say.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I prefer my spa days to be separate, I did get a new overlay on my natural nails and a pedicure. Henry, my nail professional, I called him my nail God, because, Henry is one of the only professionals that I encountered that listened to what I wanted, and completed my natural, French cut overlay just fine. I prefer a thin white line, and I prefer a light pink acrylic that is cut then completed with white acrylic. The shape is perfect and the service was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He offered me a drink, they have water, juices, sodas, and wine, I prefer water for hydration and he even opened my bottle for me once he arrived to the table since I was soaking the previous set off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]After Henry completed my nails, I was greeted by Daisy, who is my pedicure Goddess. Daisy was very sweet and accommodating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She did explain to me the many options of pedicures they have available, and as I mentioned, this is my day of pampering, so I chose the Lava Pedicure. There are so many elements to this pedicure including a hot neck wrap, shoulder and neck massage, and a foot wrap that leaves you feeling exhilarated. I will definitely make this my primary source for all of my hand and foot spa needs. I highly recommend Chic Nails Lounge. The price reflects the services I received, but if you are more simple and less demanding than I am, this place is actually very affordable. I had soak off, acrylic cut, gel take off and polish, most expensive pedicure, and a lovely experience. It is worth the pamper.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Chic nails called me very shortly after posting this review and offered for me to come back and get my nails fixed free of charge![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stephen (steven) did such an exceptional job! He was so diligent, you could tell that he cared about his craft! He was gentle yet efficient and made sure that I genuinely loved my nails before I left! I can confidently say that I will be back to chic nail lounge due to Stephen (Steven) in particular!
I hadn't been here in a few years so I decided to come in to get my nails done. The place is clean and the people are nice and friendly. I decided to get a dip nail with tips. A nice friendly young man approached me and led me to his station. I had a hard time finding a good color for my nails. I've gotten so tanned with the sun that nothing looked like it would look good. He picked out a color for me and said this will be perfect. This nail tech was the best ever he did an amazing job on my nails! Thanks Henry! I'll see you soon!
Nice place , very friendly did a great job with my acrylics refill and I had the deluxe pedicure which was amazing . I am super happy with how everything came out will definitely be back!!

Daisy was very professional and confident in her technique & Kelly was so tentative with my pedicure. After a month of training, this was exactly what I needed to bring me back to LIFE! this was my third time coming to the salon. Henry usually does my full set and does an awesome job. I made an appointment with him to have my nails removed and a manicure done since my nails were long enough underneath. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He was really busy so he asked if it was OK if someone else worked with me and I understand it was really busy in there so I was OK with it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, I had two nail techs working on me and when they were taking off my nails, the acrylic was flying everywhere. It got in my hair, on my clothes and created this white cast on my skin. I understand that it's a mess. It's okay. But when it came time for the manicure, she never cleaned me off, and I was covered in these white chunks. I wanted to go wash my hands, but she was kind of in a rush. She put the oil on me for the massage and barely massaged me at all. As she's doing it, she is rubbing this white acrylic all over my arms, and it was really gritty and uncomfortable. Then after the oil she tells me to go wash my hands and I had to wash my arms too because now this white acrylic is all over my arms. I understand things get busy and I'm not trying to be disrespectful or impatient but when I'm paying $30 for a manicure and that's what happens it felt like a huge waste of money. I would've rather have just painted my nails at home and only paid for the nail removal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I still tipped her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And I hate giving this place a bad rating because Henry usually is so awesome. But here is an attached picture with the white hue that was left on me, even after washing my hands. I really wish I didn't pay for the manicure because it made a bigger mess than if I would've just gotten my nails off and done it at home. It was also all over my clothes and unfortunately, I was wearing all black lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm not sure if I'll ever be coming back here which sucks because I really like Henry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Found my new spot. I'm from houston and needed a new place. I live in Arlington and will drive the 20 mins just to make sure my nails are done right. Ask for Annie ! She had me done within 25-30 mins. My pedi was great too ! They work fast and do a great job. I got something basic to make sure the shape was great ! Love this place read more

I normally don't leave reviews on anything but today I just had to. I always get my nails done in houston cause I visit family a lot. This time I figured I'd find a place close by. If you know me then you know I rarely nail shop hop simply because I'm hella picky bout my nails. Some what of a perfectionist at least when it comes to my nails lol. After so much research I came across this nail shop & I just had to visit. I live in forney so it's a lil drive but I called Wednesday & they time they had available was too late so Thursday I called to make an appt for Friday. My appt was at 1 I called and let them know I was running late but ended up getting there only 2 minutes after 1. Right before I walked in another woman walked in before me and they took her before me even though I had an appointment. Still no biggy I was told to sit down and wait a lil then shortly someone called me back to get my pedicure started. Great experience by the way, the guy that did my pedicure did an amazing job I was so relaxed. Fast forward to my nails. I had overlay on my real nails with gel so after getting my pedicure down I'm waiting on the guy to do my nails I believe his name is tang or tan one of them. He asked to see the picture of what I wanted because we talked over the phone about it when I made the appt. instead of starting on my nails the one who had the appt he went to do the other girl who walked in when I came in. Still no biggy. He told the guy who did my pedicure to soak my nails so he did. Mind you it's already 2:30 at this time. I continued to sit waiting while he finished that women's nails & I was told he'd be with me in a minute. Eventually he sent another tech to get me from the pedicure chair so she could do my nails. If that was the case then why make me sit there all this time! This review isn't a bad review it's just a review of my experience & to let everyone know that tang and tan whatever their names are aren't the only talented tech in that shop. Sabrina did my nails exactly like the picture I showed her. I was very pleased with the end results. I normally keep my nails simply but this time I wanted to step out the box. I will definitely be going back to her. We need to praise the other tech and much as we praise the 2 men in their because it seems like everybody who walk in that shop only want their nails done by those two. God always have my back. I love this cute little nail spa!! I came in to get acrylic Gel nails. The atmosphere was very nice and everything was very clean. It was also very comfortable inside. The owner was so kind and accommodating to all my nail needs. Nathan did my nails, he let me pick out some cute flowers, butterflies and at the very end, he even let me pick out some cute nail charms to add on. I ended up with such a lovely. So many of my friends and strangers who saw my nails said they were the prettiest set of nails they ever laid their eyes on!! I would recommend this nail spot!! This is my go to nail salon in Irving! They always get me seated right away as a walk in, no matter how busy they are. I get powder dipped nails every five weeks bc they last forever. I also get pedicures and my eyebrows waxed here. They do it all, and they do it well. The interior is super clean, and their tools and equipment are sanitarily maintained. All the employees are friendly and easy to talk to. Their prices are competitive and beverages are complimentary. read more

I have been living in Farmers Branch for two years and I use to travel to DeSoto to get my nails and feet done. I'm very picky about my nails and feet but I'm glad I came because Thi did her thing. I wear my natural nails and she was able to do exactly what I wanted. Tina had your girl sleeping in the pedicure chair. I will definitely be back. The customer service was on point and that made my experience even better. I finally found a new nail shop 8 minutes away from my house. read more

So let me explain why this was such a great experience; first of all I was automatically greeted and didn't take long for service considering I was a walk-in. Nathan offered me a drink while carefully soaking off my dipping powder from my real nails. The part that I appreciate the most is that anytime I go to a nail salon I have to ask for something. I came by on a Sunday around noon.. Got a pedicure and a dip. The lady cut me so it was bleeding and when she put the base coat and top coat it was stinging. Nothing too exemplary about this place. It's okay minus the cut on my nail. I just looked at my receipt. I got charge of $2.10 for a CONVENIENT FEE. read more

I went in yesterday to get a fill with Tan. I called ahead to make an appointment. Earliest that they could see me was 6:45. I asked if I could come the next day but they were adamant that today was okay and they could get me in. I had a brand new set of clear nails that weren't lifting or broken. They tried insisting that I get a new set which I declined. At my appointment time he was working on another client who must have been running a little over schedule. Not a huge deal but he asked someone else to start me. I asked for a simple design of pink powder and a half v French tip as pictured. If you have powder they are not able to do powder change, even if your nails are clear. He left the girl he was working on to come do mine so I was rushed and he made me bleed a few times. He was so antsy while he was doing my nails I decided to just get polish on top so I could leave. When he finished the acrylic he didn't bother seeing if they were even, in fact they were all crooked. He asked someone else to do my polish and that's who straightened my nails out. Even after the THIRD person to work on my nails did them, the nails still came out like poop. I won't be back. Good luck trying the place. read more

Here is my go to nail salon for hand art designs. As usual, I've tried so many salons; let say over 30 salons in Fort Worth, Dallas, and outside these areas trying to find that right salon. You know, that spot where all can be done and you're 100% satisfied... It's here for me! I drive 30 mins to get to them and don't mind it at all. They take me in as a last-minute or late show without huffing and puffing and/or making me feel bad so showing up late; I appreciate that so much since I work late. I'm so bad and can't remember the lady who always does my nails, but, she's the pretty petite short hair, Madam. She is the bomb dot com, and super gentle, a total plus for me. I bring her photos a screenshot from Instagram of what I want on my nails and she does such an amazing job to recreate them on my natural nails. Price: Amazing, take my money (Gel polish, designs, plus a clean up around my cuticle) - $55.00 FYI: When you find a manicurist who does an amazing job, treat them well, and tip well. So it's been about a year and I've been going here consistently and progressively getting more complicated designs. The space is clean and welcoming, they will greet you when you arrive. I am always well taken care of and if I ever have issues with my nails they fix them, I really appreciate that. For this reason I'm updating my rating to 5 stars. I have used several different nail techs, even on a single set, they always ensure I get to someone who can do my desired design. I always try to call ahead to let them know I'm coming because I am terrible about setting appointments. I usually spend a minimum of 3 hours and $200 not including tips. (See photos, price is for length, design, and I always get gel on my toes. You probably won't spend that much I am extra). They have a loyalty program now so add your number for a birthday discounts. Anyway go.. go get your nails done. You're going to feel amazing. read more

This place should be a school. I can't believe the lack of skills. When I asked "Ice" I think is his name to fix the shape he said it would be $5 extra. This was my first time here. I came because a full set with gel polish was $45. You get what you pay for I guess. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else. The one star is for Amy. She fixed my nails the best she could. She literally had to cut most of them down to make the length match. She was nicer about it than he was but the customer services lacked. They really expected me to be satisfied no matter what they did and pay. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I don't know where the pictures came from in the photos with the cute designs. Maybe there is one technical that does well. If you have to go here just go through the reviews and ask for her. Whatever you do, do not let the man "ice" do your nails. read more

I'll give this place 3 stars because of their hospitality, they were very kind to my friend and I. The only issues I have is 1) I have an acrylic set, and the gel polish that I received chipped within a few days, it was like the polish was old. 2) They were moving too fast. When we arrived it wasn't busy, it was only like two people. Also we did set an apt. I also got a pedi, I have no issues with the pedi at all (except I messed up the polish myself ) The young man was very sweet who did my nails, but there shouldn't have been a rush to do our nails, slowly like 4-5 more people started to enter when we were close to finishing. I just don't think that $90 was worth the price read more

Ok, so I never post reviews on yelp...good, bad or indifferent. However...the service I received today from Hannah was bar none theeee best service I've received from ANY establishment- not just nail salon. I booked my appointment for a full set and pedi (gentleman that did my pedi did great as well but I forgot his name). But the clincher is I had my baby with me- nope, didn't have family to watch him and Dad was at work...and Mama needed a lil pampering after being home postpartum for 3 months. When I tell you this woman was SO helpful, accommodating, patient and even went out of her way to make sure I could nurse my baby whilst being served...it was a blessing!! I kept my baby covered to keep the fumes from reaching him and she helped with that as well! Now the nails lol I randomly pulled a IG pic of what I wanted...and baby when I tell you she "nailed" it!! She moved quickly but was very skillful and got me in and out while my baby was still calm- which every postpartum Mom can appreciate!! Can't say enough how happy I was...Hannah needs to remain a fixture here!! Fantastic experience!! read more

UPDATED REVIEW! This place is under new ownership and is even BETTER! (I know how could that be possible right?) Tan got me in about 20 minutes to close and I will say his work was cut out for him. I needed a fill my thumb nail was broken and I wanted an entirely new shape. He was VERY patient with my request and I have to say, this was the very first time I've ever taken a photo in and left with the same thing. He has displays out of the most AWESOME designs he can do, and they have a ton of new colors to choose from! Chic Nails continues to out do themselves and I will continue to come here. So, I literally downloaded Yelp for the sole reason to find a good rating salon near me. I came across this salon and I read and saw pretty nice reviews and pictures. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with me. I got there around 5 but got told there was going to be from a half an hour to a 45 minute wait, I was completely fine with that but it ended up being well over an hour wait. I got seated like at 6:30 and I didn't leave till like 8:30 which is understandable, I get it. It literally hasn't even been a week and the freaking powder is already off. read more

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to. I am extremely picky when it comes to me nails, so much so that I even learned how to do my own gel nails because I felt like no one could ever get them right. Every single nail tech at this salon is so talented, professional, and clean. I get my nails done frequently and they are still strong and healthy because of how careful and gentle the techs are. The prices are very reasonable and I usually pay around $65 for removal, full acrylic set with tips, designs, and shape. They consistently ask you if you are happy with how your nails look, and never give you attitude when you ask to change something. This place is a bit far from me but i will drive the 20 minutes every time because they are worth it! read more
