Decided to stop by the pink lobster while staying at the Poc Na Hotel. It was walking distance, probably less than 1/2 a mile. Got a couple of margaritas, ordered guacamole, the shrimp tacos and the lobster. Everything was great! The waiter even brought us 2 options of lobsters and provided how much it weight and cost before grilling it. Overall, would definitely recommend if you're staying in the North beach of Tulum.

Food and atmosphere was amazing. We had margaritas, shrimp pina, and flank steak quesadilla! By far, the best food we have had.

The food was pretty decent. A bit overpriced. We did enjoy ourselves. It was one of the more quieter space with us having our 6 year old daughter.

This restaurant is just north of Tulum's main hotel row so it's much quieter, chill, and parking isn't nearly as hectic. The decor and environment feel authentic to Tulum (unlike the Vegas-meets-the-jungle vibe of Tulum's trendy spots) but the food and drink quality are still very high. Their prices are more affordable than the pseudo-hippie and trendy spots, but we happily ran up a considerable tab. The lobster and grilled fish were truly fantastic. The waiter, bartender, and chef are masters of their craft as well. If you're looking for something off the beaten path, this is THE hidden gem of Tulum. Of all the restaurants we've sampled in the area, we would only return here and Taqueria Honorio. I will update my review if we go back during this trip. Thanks, Pink Lobster!

Don't let the outside of this place fool you. It looks like a complete dive but this place is a hidden Gem! I read the other reviews and decided to take a chance. The food is Awesome and the service is Excellent! Definitely a must when in Tulum!

Great service the people are very passionate about their food! It's good wasn't say it was great. Lobster was fresh but I wouldn't say it was the best lobster I've had. Sides were pretty generic.

We went on a Saturday night and it was pleasantly relaxed, which made the whole experience even better. Alex took amazing care of us. He was attentive, kind, and always one step ahead, bringing things before we even had to ask. He also shared great insight about the restaurant and its background, which we really appreciated. The food was as delicious as ever. We always order the grilled octopus and it's a must every time, perfectly tender and full of flavor. This time we also tried a small shrimp ceviche that had a great balance of acidity and spice. We finished with the grilled fish, which was soft, fresh, and really tasty. I skipped the margarita this time, but they are also one of my favorite things to get here. We will definitely keep coming back.

I thought the fish was a little over-fried but my husband liked it that way. The grilled octopus was not overcooked, but in fact very tender, and cooked with this red sauce that made it very juicy. These were their two recommended dishes and I'm glad we got to try them. Just be careful with the water here (like any place in Mexico). I think I got sick because my drink had ice in it, which melted and contaminated my drink. Small mixed ceviche 10/10 - We were pleasantly surprised by the serving size ("THIS is a small?") The atmosphere was very unique, the music was great, they had a DJ, and watching the sunset made the whole experience even better. Definitely a vibe. The food overall was about an 8/10. I tried the sea bass, porterhouse steak, ribeye steak, BBQ pasta, octopus, short rib, and the empanada. My top 3 favorites were the ribeye, short rib, and octopus. The ribeye had amazing flavor, but if you're sensitive to salt, just keep that in mind. The octopus was really good too. I just wish it was charred a little more. The porterhouse also had a lot of flavor, but between the two steaks, the porterhouse looked better while the ribeye tasted better. The BBQ pasta was average, and the sea bass had a little too much lemon for my taste. If you like lemon-heavy dishes, you might enjoy it more than I did. The empanada, however, was my least favorite item on the menu and I personally wouldn't recommend it. Overall, service, the vibe, views, and experience made this place worth visiting, and I'd definitely come back again.

Our group was in the Quetzal nest, high above the trees with open air views in every direction. You feel the breeze, hear the sounds of the jungle, and watch the light change as the sun drops, it honestly feels suspended somewhere between nature and architecture. It's peaceful, surreal, and unlike any dinner setting I've had. The food was good overall with thoughtful presentation and interesting flavors, though a few dishes arrived a bit cooler than expected. Nothing that ruined the meal. That said, you don't come here only for the food, you come for the atmosphere. The setting is so unique and memorable that it's absolutely worth doing at least once while in Tulum. A special experience you really shouldn't miss.
