It looks better than it tastes. The guac and chips is what I enjoyed, it was basic to make. Then the drinks, that would be it. It was our first night and time in Tulum and we thought it would be awesome, but a bit disappointed. Save ur money and try the food carts across the street and corner from here. Much better tasting tacos for sure.

Their dishes are authentic and delicious! We also tried a Moscow Mule, and by far, the best I've ever had!

So glad we came to this place. Food was amazing and delicious. The staff was very friendly. Can't beat the pricing on how much food you get. I highly recommend getting the muloch so that you get a little taste of several Mayan dishes.

Went to this place on a Saturday and it was packed. Had to wait at the bar before we got a table! Come to this place for amazing drinks. The bartender made me a special pineapple tequila drink. They have a great variety of tequila. The restaurant has a taco stand place we're they make your tacos in front of you next to the bar. Highly recommend when you want a fun time.

Highly recommended for the food, ambiance, AND price! During my 1 week stay in Tulum I ended up coming here 4 times. Ask for potatoes with the tacos, really good. Great quality Mexican and Mayan food. The place is open-air and the lighting and ambiance glows warmly at night. Good music too.

Great tacos at a great price ! The tortillas are freshly made and the Orchata water is a must try! Highly recommend. The service is good, lots of friendly servers. Marcelino was very nice and made great suggestions. Try the al pastor tacos!

I recommend this place! We came to tulum not knowing a lot of food places and we saw this while we were walking down the street. Immediately we were greeted by a nice gentlemen who showed us their menu. The tacos were amazing! It came with some freshly made tortillas and the meat was cooked well. I recommend the steak and the chicken! Good service as from Marcelino

I've been here several times throughout my 7 week stay in Tulum. Fantastic breakfast and cocktails!

    The special Guacamole!

Marcelino was amazing! I had a great time dining here, my first time in Tulum and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating . The cocktails were just great and more than what I had expected. Marcelino recommended me most of my items I had based on what I wanted to try and he happened to do great at it! Would definitely come again. It's an amazing environment to chill out after a day of walking around getting to know Tulum.

This place is amazing. I ordered cerviche (sic) and it was the best I've ever had in my life. I also had the shrimp plate, which is prepared with an amazing glaze sauce. The waiter, Marcelino, was very attentive. It was by far the best dining experience I've had in Mexico.

The highlight of the entire night was the baked fig appetizer! It was gooey and delicious! We also ordered the whole fish baked in the wood fire oven. The fish of the night was yellowtail. First time to ever eat a whole fish and wow was it good! For cocktails we got the Pilar, which had the lightest hint of hazelnut, and the Emerald whiskey cocktail. It was unique, but the Pilar was better. Service was very attentive and made great recommendations. Go check this place out and try and make a reservation for the weekends.

I've been eyeing Casa Banana every night we've been here and it felt so much more chill compared to all the surrounding party restaurants. It was the perfect stop for a reset. The vibe was top tier. So intimate and cozy, and it felt really nice sitting by the fire on such a chilly night. Our server Joaquin was so friendly and attentive and took great care of us. The octopus salad was so lovely, and the Argentinian chorizo was honestly one of the best chorizo I've had. Not very spicy, served with perfectly toasted focaccia and roasted vegetables. We also loved the pickled eggplant that came with it. They brought out complimentary toast and spread when we first arrived too which was so sweet. So happy we stopped here

I was greeted by warm customer service, and I placed an order for fish tacos and an order of fresh guacamole. The guacamole came it very fast!!! It had a fresh flavor and I could taste notes of lime and cilantro. The guacamole was so delicious that it was hard to stop eating it. I continued eating it even after my tacos had come out. Now onward to the main course, the tacos had that nice grilled char to them. With that char, you were still able to taste the freshness and deliciousness of the fish! The tortillas were freshly made, and there were both green and red salsas on the side. These salsas added a magic touch! So amazing!! I would highly recommend this place. Cheers to good eats!

The tacos on the other hand were brought out on a skillet and were 90% onions/peppers with barely any actual meat. Sauces they gave us for chips and tacos were bland and flavorless. At the end the bill was about $50 US and they charged us $67 US with high conversion. They only accept cash but a sign out front with the Visa/MasterCard logo was actually pointing across the street to a different restaurant. We glanced and assumed they took card. All in all it was not the best experience especially food-wise although the waiter was nice and polite.
