Passion fruit margarita

We come here every time we are in Tulum. Beautiful ambiance and even better food. 5 stars.

Passion Fruit rum drink and margarita and little plate of chips/cream cheese (gratis!)
Lori W.

A pit stop at this beautiful resort on our way back from Tulum to the Cancun airport. My fiancé almost booked this hotel for our stay; we ended up staying in the heart of Tulum instead. We wanted to have a cocktail by the ocean and were so impressed with the hotel décor and staff. I ordered a rum drink with passion fruit and it had some heat: habanero. My amazing fiancé had a margarita. The small but generous gesture by our server convinced us to order a second round. He brought us tray of chips and spiced cream cheese - that was so thoughtful. The drink was one of the BEST I have ever had tasted - seriously, this had fresh passion fruit and was so well balanced.

View from our dinner table. Majestic.

This was such a delicious meal!! Their goat cheese and cream cheese dip was amazing! Homemade gnocchi, lobster ravioli, spinach and ricotta ravioli, and shrimp with mojo de ajo were fabulous! We also started with their tzatziki sauce and it was delicious! Definitely recommend! And Daniel was such a sweet server!

We only stopped for drinks after a walk on the beach. This is a very nice place and priced accordingly. The wait staff was cordial.

We ordered some guac and chips and ceviche for the table. Ceviche was fresh and tasty. For entrees I ordered the seafood stew which was delicious. A lot of seafood. My husband got the large shrimp plate w chipotle sauce which was also good. Someone else in my party ordered the octopus which I'm told tasted very good. One of the few restaurants that had a range of desserts. They had chocolate cake, flan and tres leches. The flan was the best by far. The carafe of margaritas were pretty large. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.

They now have a beautiful space on the west side of the the highway about half way from Akumal to Tulum. The restaurant is clean and open. They a a nice garden area courtyard as well. The staff is attentive and efficient. Virginia the hostess was absolutely amazing and friendly. Her family has owned the business for decades. Our waiter was Alfredo who was excellent. All the food was well prepared and presented nicely. Everything we had was delicious. It's definitely aimed a bit more for the North American palette but this does not mean it wasn't really good because it was. Cocktails were made with fresh fruit juices and were top notch. I highly recommend Oscar & Lalo to anyone who is staying in the area or passing by to or from Tulum.

It was really fresh but the downside for me was that it was warm and the shrimp poop was still in the shrimp. The ceviche included shrimp, octopus, and fish. The micheladas were the best ones I've ever tried (and I've tried a lot, haha). The restaurant has a very fancy feel, even though the food/drinks were reasonably priced. The food here is phenomenal. Everything was delicious. The chips, the drinks, the entrees all just delicious! We started with fresh chips and salsa, for the salsa you get about 5-6 different salsa options. The pica- de callio and the green sauce are to die for, really incredible. For my entree I ordered the lamb lollipops and omg they were heavenly. I wish they lasted forever. It came with this delicious gravy on top and a side salad. The lamb was nice and tender, my mouth is watering just thinking about them yum! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. If you're in the area it would be a mistake NOT to come here. 10/10.
