They now have a beautiful space on the west side of the the highway about half way from Akumal to Tulum. The restaurant is clean and open. They a a nice garden area courtyard as well. The staff is attentive and efficient. Virginia the hostess was absolutely amazing and friendly. Her family has owned the business for decades. Our waiter was Alfredo who was excellent. All the food was well prepared and presented nicely. Everything we had was delicious. It's definitely aimed a bit more for the North American palette but this does not mean it wasn't really good because it was. Cocktails were made with fresh fruit juices and were top notch. When we arrived, there was no one else at the restaurant yet. The server informed us that they were only accepting cash because the credit card machine was not working. Despite this, the staff was very attentive, frequently checking on us and taking our orders promptly. My kids got lemonade, and my wife and I enjoyed Victoria beers. We ordered fish, shrimp, and sirloin tacos, with the fish tacos being my favorite. My kids had chicken with mole and cheese empanadas. The food was delicious!
