There is no view like this one. Highly recommend grabbing a beer by the beach here. They even have bench chairs and cabanas so you can eat without missing a single ray of afternoon sun. The food isn't equal to the view, but it'll do. The Salmon Tartare tastes a bit fishy, the Stuffed Squid is creative though I have mixed feeling about the eggplant as a filling. They get props for homemade pasta, but the Maltagliati "Polipo" is a smidge undercooked but only by a minute or two. The octopus is right on, and the pesto rocks so I would probably still recommend it. I can think of worse places to have lunch. Mivida is a bit too pricey for me to go back, but the overall experience is not too bad.

Just stumbled upon this place while walking around and it was a perfect location with some great food! We had some micheladas and filet minon, with great quality. Our server was very attentive and the place was very quiet and romantic. Would highly recommend for a decent price!

We had some great food in Tulum! Definitely recommend @mivida tapas and Restaurant in Tulum! The food was delicious!!! The most delicious seafood pasta!! "Fettuccine a la Pescatora" With white fish , squid, clams and shrimp!! And the tomato sauce flavor was incredible!!!! . We also had the their Filet Mignon and wow!!! The flavor was amazing with mashed potatoes with mushrooms with a red wine sauce! For drinks we lost sticker to mojitos and caipirinhas

Catch of the day (red snapper) and seafood risotto was one of the best meals we've ever had. Started w octopus / potato tapas plate Dining area is a rugged shabby chic building w sea views and white sand at your feet Highest recommendation.

Beautiful beach view for lunch.

This is a lovely place if you are looking for a calm beach location. It has a beautiful view for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is an option ti even sit on the beach by water. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a everything you need. The food is really tasty, highly recommend the ceviche.

What a cool place! Right by the water and on the strip. Sand floor and incredible atmosphere. Food was great and quick. Service was on it!! Drinks were unique and refreshing. Very pricey but worth the experience.

Don't waste your time eating at your resort restaurant or even at some of the surrounding places, come here for delicious and affordable food. We came for a late afternoon snack and I am so glad we did. After spending all our time (and way too much money) eating at our hotel (papaya playa) we came here. The food here is so good it made us realize how mediocre the food at papaya playa was. Salmon tartar - nice large chunks of salmon and avocado, this was one of the best things I ate in Tulum Raw tuna tostadas - great little crunchy bites with cucumber and greens and a nice sauce to drizzle on top Filet Mignon skewers - I was concerned with how these would come out since they were cooking such small pieces of meat, but it was perfectly med and juicy. I typically like my steak more rare but I couldn't complain as this was such a tasty dish.

Burrata with roasted tomatoes and pesto. Amazing!

This tapas joint was delicious. We got the burrata, octopus and potatoes, tuna sashimi, and the tropical salad. The octopus and potatoes were amazing. Definitely get that when you go here. The tuna sashimi was a little too cooked for my taste and the salad dressing was a little too sweet, but overall the meal was delicious. I enjoyed the casual beach cottage vibe. They have beach sand in both dining rooms so come in sandals (unless you want sand in your shoes). The service was great. Everyone was attentive and friendly. If you're looking for a place with small bites and drinks, give this place a try.

This is a street side view but the ocean side is even more beautiful believe it or not!

We stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 7:30 and it was hopping. The restaurant is two levels and has indoor and outdoor seating both. We were seated outside next to the street. We started off the meal with complimentary bread, which was amazing as we were starving from a long bike ride earlier. The menu has a good selection of tapas as well as a couple different types of paella. For the paella, the minimum size they can make is for two people. We tried: Tortilla de patatas (110 pesos) - we enjoyed this Chistorra i.e. grilled Spanish sausage (95 pesos) - too salty, had to eat it with the croquetas to make it more palatable Croquetas de setas (95 pesos) - was okay but had a weird / slightly sweet aftertaste I didn't like Paella de montana (230 pesos pp) - chicken paella was good. I wish there was slightly less chicken and more rice I'd say the paella was the best part of the meal. The tapas were a bit hit or miss. But overall it's a cute restaurant with decent food, and we enjoyed our experience here.

Service is great and the restaurant really makes you feel like you are in Spain again. They have…read moreoutdoor seating right by the street. The kitchen is open so you can peer in to see your food cooking. We ordered the seafood paella which takes about 40 mins to cook at about 250 pp and you can only order this with a minimum of 2 people. So I would suggest to order first and the other stuff can be ordered later. Seafood paella was subpar because the rice was burnt, not charred. but considering we were in Mexico - it was a nice taste. We loved the pulpo appetizer though - it was soft and had some great flavors. The people are genuine and they don't attempt to scam you. So we were happy about that!

A laid back wood fired pizza spot with a super cool, relaxed ambience and the friendliest energy. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and honestly I've never had anything like it. It's insanely good. Pair it with their habanero sauce and jalapeños and it is literally fire. Perfectly cooked, bold flavor, unforgettable. We also ordered the Caprese with apples, almonds, and beets and wow. Such a fresh and different take on a salad. Every ingredient tasted so clean and vibrant. My tummy was genuinely happy after this meal, which says a lot. It's not far from where we're staying near Azulik, which made it even better. The vibe is effortless, chill, and welcoming. Bonus points for the two local cats, who are absolutely adorable and add so much charm to the place. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the menu has so many choices that there is truly something for everyone. If pizza is your love language and you're anywhere near Tulum, Boccanera is a must visit.

We put our name on a list, but no phone number was given so really it's a wait for a table or come back type of situation. We ended up leaving and coming back 40 mins later and were sat quickly outside. The pizzas are OUTSTANDING! I think the reviews all say that and it's the truth. The crust is Neapolitan style thinner crust but the flavor is just spot on! The toppings and sauce are well balanced. The roasted chicken was a great addition to the vegetarian. If they made cheese sticks with a marinara sauce with that crust it would be a HUGE seller! The green salad was pretty standard and not much that was memorable or forgettable, just good and as expected. Unfortunately, the bruschetta was a huge let down -- we literally received halved cherry tomatoes on a piece of bread. They served it with olive oil to drizzle, but that did not even come close to what we expected. There are a few cats that roam the outside patio, but they don't bother you much. The staff was welcoming and we had good conversation with the server even for it being 20 mins before they closed.
