Just picked up a queen size comforter. They use so so much fragrance in their laundry plus two stinky dryer sheets fell out when I unfolded. Just so you're aware, if anyone has allergies, as I do, let them know. My blanket is so overly perfumed. It's gross. read more

This laundry is near my house and I've been going here every week it's about the same price as every other laundry I've ever been to it's always clean and the lady that works there is a hard worker and she's always doing something she's got her eye on everybody's laundry making sure everyone's doing the right thing and that's a good thing. read more

Service is bad. someone else rewashed my clothes on hot (they're delicate clothes) and the lady at the store would not turn off the machine. Tried to open the door from the hot spinning machine that would ruin the clothes then the rude owner said "you break and you pay for that!" I had one good experience here then one bad. I just moved to the neighborhood and I'm lucky enough to live nearby; the apartment I'm in doesn't have laundry in the units and I'm not great at keeping up with it myself, so this laundromat is really something special! The lady who works there is really nice and the service is excellent, all of the clothes are returned clean, smelling nice, neatly folded, and organized for a fair price. So I came here to wash a huge thick comforter and a few blankets. I knew they had giant industrial machines. They worked very well. But the owner, who barely speaks English , has the most annoying little seven year old son that runs ram shod across the tile like an epileptic hockey player.. Nose-picking stare downs, purposeful road blocks with laundry carts, booger flicking dramatics, caterwauling operettas, tantrum jigs akin to native fire dances, pouting double-chinned sulking and random object slamming. The owner is oblivious. And the place is funky and dirty. Not good. read more

I've never had any issues here - during the week at least, there are machines available, the change machine works, too. They have large capacity ones for quilts and towels, etc. And Kym's Kiddie Corner and Zylberschtein's are right nearby. read more

I tried this place out for the 1st time after my regular laundromat (The Lake City Maytag place) burned down. What a pleasant surprise! 1st off, my clothes came out soooo much cleaner and whiter than normal, even though i was using the same laundry products i always do. I'm not sure if they just have better machines or maybe the old place recirculated the water or something? Prices were good-- lower than 2 or 3 other laundromats I've tried. Lots of parking and it was nice to not have people smoking right outside the door. The other place was kinda sketchy. No complaints here. Plus good Ethiopian restaurants for takeout while you wait. It was also refreshing to not have caked on, intensely fragranced detergent from previous customers on the machines which transfer scent to my clothes! Here, my clothes came out scent free, which is appropriate, given i use scent free detergent. Also, bonus-- no mold growing inside the detergent compartments. The other weird thing was that the other customers were very friendly. Usually I'm the one starting up conversations and being ignored, but here other people were talking to me. I am looking forward to going back. The only downside is that the last load needs to be in by 6 pm or something like that which is a bit late for people who work. Well I guess this is as much a bad review about the old place as a good review about the new one. I'm still sorry they lost their business, but now that i think about it, it was not a good place. read more

Small and we'll kept when it's not crowded. No WIFI and some off street parking; open 7 days a week. I hate doing laundry and not having my own W/D in my unit; this is much better than my apartment complex with 1 W/D for 12 units. At least I can get in and get out in a timely manner. So, my ordeal began yesterday as I rushed up to this well received klaundry to get an important load of large quilts and comforters in to the wash. I hoped onevhour before the advertised closing time would be OK. Although it looked very slow, the employees said that the last load had to go in at 6:30 (a full hour and a half before closing). Disappointed , but understanding, I went home. When I returned today at 6:30, the place was empty, except for the same 3 employees who were all bustling about closing up shop. I reminded them what they'd said yesterday,and that the posted sign said "closed" as well as "open till 8 PM" but closed. I said, "I'm here to put in my single load an hour and a half before your closing, and as I'm the only customer, I'll be outta your way in no more than an hour". To my dismay, all the staff agressively pointed to the "open till 8pm, last wash 6.30 sign saying "we closed now, get out". When I protested that I'd done just add they'd said and that this wash was important to get done so my arriving houseguests will have warm beds to sleep in. They seemed genuinely puzzled that I imagined they could possibly care about my situation, and rudely cut me off to shoo me out the door. Honestly, I worst service l've experienced in years! I'm now sitting in the parking lot finishing this Yelp as it goes past 730, and everybody's left the building and the lights are off. Now I must to rush off to Target to buy brand new bedding for my arriving guests...great! read more

I just moved into the neighborhood and needed to express wash some towels. The price to wash in a standard washer is $2.75 ( a bit steep, honestly). The washer certainly did it's job, but it wasn't anything special. I opted to use the large Express drier, which is $0.25 per 5 minutes. I ended up spending about $2.00 to get the towels dry. In the end the towels were still damp and the drier was't even really hot, despite having put it on the "High" heat setting. In other laundromat express driers my towels are dry in about 20-25 minutes tops and they come out piping hot! What bothered me most about this laundromat are all the signs, stating that if you break something or use a machine improperly, you'll be charged with negligence and be forced to pay up. Seriously? The place isn't well maintained and neither are the machines (refer to the aforementioned about the "Express" driers). In this business, they are selling laundromat services and should have insurance on their machines, or at least some sort of maintenance budget to cover said expenses. Threatening the customer, who has no records of the machines previous use and maintenance upkeep, with negligence is just distasteful. I won't be coming back. It's a money pit, and it's obvious the owners are doing nothing to keep up on the care and maintenance of the machines. read more

Machines that do not operate, staff nearly non-existent, not even an open washroom where you can use the bathroom and / or wash the detergents off of your hands. I visited this laundromat for the first time yesterday, which was monday and also labor day. The first thing I noticed was the shady looking business' located in the same building as the laundromat, the next thing I noticed were the shady looking folks hanging around said business, and the asian restaurant a little further down. The laundromat itself was clean enough, enough so that when I dropped half a load of miscellaneous laundry on the floor while pulling it out of the washer, and then again when pulling it out of the dryer I picked it up and was not concerned about possible germs. Ha ha, most people would likely call this next part a deal breaker, I however found it hilarious. The son of the owners was there, with his parents, the way he was acting was textbook ADHD, only I think this particular 7 or 8 year old child seemed to have a big attachment to howling. He also seemed to thoroughly enjoy running around the laundromat almost nonstop, carrying around with him a folding yardstick which he used as a sort of drum-stick, which he proceeded to smack nearly every surface in the whole place. After he tired of this, he would run up to me, ask me something which I did not understand, partly due to the language barrier (though I'm fairly sure I could make out some words), I think the larger part of the non communication was that he would run away hollering again before I could even begin to realize what he had said. Or he would get distracted looking through my stuff. Ha ha, all harmless fun, though his parents seemed to be thoroughly embarrassed. The boys parents, the owners were very friendly and even kept the place open for 5 extra minutes to allow my laundry to finish drying. I would recommend this place. read more

Praise the lord, I am no longer a regular laundromat patron. That said, I've seen my share of laundromats that commit cardinal sins. My top three: 1. You closed 5 minutes early. I couldn't get my clothes. I came back the next day and you said you'd thrown them away 2. I can't believe the type of gunk that accumulates in every possible crevice of a machine in which I'm supposed be CLEANING things that intimately touch my body! 3. Must you put obnoxious signs on everything? Must you shout obnoxious one-line responses to simple questions? Unlike the above examples, this place is clean, quiet, and polite. For several years, when I had no washer in my apartment (and was very busy with my job) I brought my laundry to the woman who runs this laundromat. She consistently did an excellent job and did not lose or damage one article of clothing in the 5 or so years that I went to her (and I have a LOT of laundry!). She also hemmed many of my pants and fixed a few garments of my partners. Anyway, I have a washer now and I live farther away but I have yet to find someone as good as her and who I trust as much. read more

I'm actually pretty disappointed in the reviews on this place. Clearly people haven't been here in a few years but I found this hidden gem because my normal laundromat didn't opened till 11 am on Wednesdays and I didn't want to wait on lake city way, so I mapped to this location and was very surprised. Yes, the whole little strip mall it is in is slightly ran down but the owner was very friendly. Her son sat in the back, playing with toys and video games. So be it that the cost of the laundry is $3.00 a load, there was plenty of large load options. I was thrilled to have all the options with parking so sadly I'm going to suggest the previous reviewers give this place a try again. If chipped paint, lack of wifi and some random parking issues REALLY mater that much then you're a loser and can suck it!!! Thank you for the awesome experience here. I'll be back!!!! read more

Haha no. I came here to see if they could do an alteration, just shorten a dress two inches. The son of the woman (I assume from a previous review) said as soon as we walked in, "what do you want?" And I told him. I pulled out the dress (not all the way) and all she said was "no". And then the kid started saying "no". That was it. We left. This place must be cheap because there is no customer service, just an annoying kid and an oblivious mother. We went to Simons Alterations over by Costco, way better people, quick work and inexpensive. Will never be back to this place again! read more

Overtly hostile owners on three occasions over two years. Don't recall the first incident, only that I was *really* reluctant to go back. BUT my washing machine croaked with the towels all wet, so.... I took the load of towels there for them to wash, dry, and fold. They advertise this service in huge letters on the window. The woman was folding laundry and made a big show of irritation, not wanting to be interrupted. Finally, she huffed and went over to clear something off the scale. They charge by the pound. Remember: These towels are soaking WET. They are going to weigh a ton. So I said, "No, they need to be dry." She points to the driers and goes back to what she's doing. (I don't want to pick on recent immigrants, but no, she speaks but a couple of words of English--"soap" and "dry" that I know of.) So even MORE reluctant to go back there with my now-mildewed towels but caving in to the convenience I take all of my laundry there to do myself. I load up several high-capacity washers and some singles. It costs $56. I borrow a rag that's laying around and wipe down the tables, the tops of the machines I use, and the inside of a machine that might've received a few dog hairs. While I'm drying, she comes over with a duster and angrily points at some microstuff--literally no more than a few hairs plus a teeny bit of lint--on the table and indicates that I should clean it. Actually, I would have cleaned it (I cannot emphasize enough that it did NOT qualify as dirty or even messy and was hardly noticeable) when I turned around. She shakes her duster at me and commands, in Vietnamese, what apparently meant, "Wipe the table." I indicated that I didn't understand Vietnamese. So she rolls her eyes, and REPEATS IT MORE LOUDLY AND SLOWLY IN . Yeah. NOW I speak Vietnamese--not! I understand that she works hard. Don't we all? Life is tough all over. But she's treating me like an intruder when I'm a well-paying customer. Well, not anymore. I'll never go back again. It's not like this place is pristine, either. I've been here once before to wash blankets and I don't recall it being that bad. But I just called to see how late they were open and also to see what the machines cost (so I had enough quarters) and she really doesn't understand or speak English. If you're going to own a business in the states, at least learn the basics. I asked two questions and she replied with "Yeah" and when I said "Yeah what?" Google said the place was open until 8:30 weeknights (I suggested a fix on their site). I showed up at 7:30 and a crotchety white guy standing outside smoking told me I was too late; they were closed. I noted that the big red sign right behind him said OPEN. He said washing and drying each take 30 minutes. I noted that it was only 7:30. He said it was too late to go in and start, never mind the fact that there was just enough time, not to mention the North American customer service norm that you only close your doors to NEW customers at the posted closing time (which was 8:00 on the door). If a business closes at 8, that means they let you come in UNTIL 8. I just said fine, I won't come here again, and walked away. He suggested I read the sign. I'm not really sure what I was supposed to read that I hadn't already. Apparently this guy learned customer service and business best practices from ISIS. Never going back. read more

I came to this washing machine and the lady who works here has a bad attitude and gets angry when you have a question she is racist and the truth is that I do not recommend this place is a garbage to maintain a business it is important to have a good attitude so that we have personal problems, the clients are not to blame, so one hundred percent I do not recommend. read more

This laundromat provides good service at a very reasonable cost, compared to what I have seen elsewhere. At the time of this review, they dry-clean a jacket for $5, wash a large heavy blanket for you for about $8. They can also do alterations - only $10 to let my slacks out around the waist (compared with $25 at another place I have been) and did a quality job. They are not fluent in English but understand most laundry-related requests. Overall courteous service and they always do an honest job. read more

I agree with Bradley D! This place is your basic diamond in the rough. I am partially disabled and cannot make it all the way to the laundry center in my building lugging huge bundles of clothes ... I was fortunate enough to give this place a try. Yes, the shopping strip is nothing short of sketchy, but I am so glad I went in. I get wash/dry/fold for an incredibly low price. They obviously have had some major professional experience before because my clothes are folded like they have been ironed! Everything is returned - not one lost article of clothing in the 7 months I have been going. You are given the price up front of what it will cost, she does ALTERATIONS for a fraction of what other places charge, the clothes are always ready when I come to pick them up, and most of all it is sooooo affordable. This service has been a blessing for me. And I really like that her son is there - it makes it family-like. It is obvious that long hours and hard work are put into keeping the machines cleaned and getting the clothes clean.. Great business! read more

I just wanted my laundry done and was able to find this place and took my laundry in and picked it up the next day without any issues, however, the next time I went this last Friday, I picked up the clothes and they smelled so bad and the clothes have a thick FILM, like they were washed with too much soap. I have been trying to call but no one answers and probably because they do not speak English and the phone has been busy for the last few days so I can not complain to the washers personally to try and get my money back or even fix the problem. The clothes stink so bad I had to put them outside and am unable to use until they get washed again. I have never in my life smelled washed clothes smells like someone sprayed them with a very strong deodorizer, and strong enough to make my eyes burn. It's like a slap in the face because when my husband took the clothes there he gave them and soap for sensitive skin and they did the opposite and playing on their ignorance by not speaking English and not answering their business phone. I will never go back and ask for their unprofessional service ever again. It really takes a special type of person to fu&* up laundry. Thanks for wasting my time and hard earned money and now you may have distorted my clothes with a very strong deodorant spray. Sometimes a discount is not a discount at all but rather a lower level of work and professionalism and if you have nice clothes and nicer towels find another place to go as they may destroy your laundry. read more
