This laundromat saved my life! I don't normally go to laundromat and only go when situation is dire, such as traveling on the road and have no clean clothes left. Apparently We Wash 24 was not a 24 hour laundromat and it was already 8:30PM, time was pressing to find a laundromat that closed later and Hogan's closes at 10PM (adjusted hours)! As long as clothes are put into the washer before 9PM, you can wash your clothes! (Washers don't accept anything after 9PM tho.) Stay away! This place should not be a place for cleaning. It is nothing close to clean. If it wasn't for the fact I was so desperate to try to finish drying my cloths from another place earlier I would have left. At first it felt a little sketch, amazing for such a nice neighborhood. Most of the machines are old, but I was willing to deal with that. Dirt everywhere. Cobwebs, muddy dirty floors. The counter tops for folding cloths hadn't been wiped down in weeks easily; dead bugs and dirt lay on them. Thank god I had left over cleaning wipes and a clean rag in my truck. After that I thought ok how bad could it be. Large clumps of lint far bigger than my fist bad. Someone else's long black hair sticking to my sheets after drying for 20 bad. I spent two and a half years as a customer here, I have to say that I won't go anywhere else to do my laundry. They literally have the lowest priced machines in town, hours are great... 7:30am-10:30pm, snack machines and beverage machines, free candy, free Wi-Fi and wonderfully helpful attendants until 6pm if you have questions or concerns. The laundromats building is obviously very old, so has some wear and tear, but it is clean. They also have been trying to supply ample seating for their customers. (they had a problem with people destroying seats or stealing them after the attendants left for the night). I now work here, and am proud to say that, because we are a laundromat full of great people, and we are always looking for ways to improve our service and store because we want our customers happy. read more

Both my experiences so far have been great! Both are the only two times I have used a laundromat to be fair. First time I walked in the girl working must have seen me looking a bit confused and she came over and thoroughly explained to me everything I could need to know and I didn't have to ask. Also heard her saying to someone else she genuinely likes working here. Super nice! Second time I accidentally put the quarters into someone else's machine and started it. The lady working didn't make me feel silly and just gave me the amount of quarters I put into the wrong machine without me asking! While the inside is not the most sparkling clean the washers/dryers are big and fast and work well! The attendants look like they're disinfecting everything all the time. I have been going to Hogans for 15+ years. I live in a building that had inadequate laundry facilities because of the age of the building. I use have used all of the services they provide. I have never been disappointed by their drop-off service and when I use do the laundry myself the machines and folding tables are always clean and if something doesn't meet a high standard it is immediately taken care of. There has recently been an addition of new machines which has been really helpful to meet my needs. I give a shout out to their friendly and cheerful staff. This is a great place whether you need laundry services occasionally or on a regular basis. read more

Around 1985, I decided that I no longer wanted to do my own laundry, and so looked around and found Hogan's (then called Prim). All I had to do was drop off my bags of dirty jeans, socks, bedding, towels, etc. and, as if by magic, I would pick them up in a day or two, all fluffy, fresh and folded. I used to live on First Hill and now live in Ballard, and for me it is worth the drive to go here and know that my clothes and I will be taken good care of! I might add that the same lovely lady who first waited on me 24 years ago, Ellie, is still there and still providing great service and friendliness to all her customers....THANK YOU, Ellie, and to all the others who have made and continue to make Hogan's a great place to "get rid of the dirt." read more

The Good: It's about the cheapest place to do laundry around this area by a quarter or two. $1.25 for a wash & $0.25 for 8 minutes of drying. I've only had a slight problem once with having enough washers and dryers The Bad: They used to have free wifi, but it only worked one time. Every other time I've gone they've been having "problems" with it and can't get it to work. Overall: I love doing work at the laundromat because no one interrupts me, and the lack of wifi / unreliability of wifi has made me look elsewhere. An extra $0.50 -$1 overall isn't going to kill me financially and I'll at least be able to get something done while washing my clothes. read more

I am rating Hogan's Corners drop off laundry service, which is five star. For a dollar a pound, drop off your laundry and the friendly staff will have it washed, dried and folded in no time - most of the time the same day. I have dropped off 30 pounds of laundry plus 15 bowling shirts (on a very busy Monday) and had them finished by five, with all the shirts on hangers. It's a life saver, time saver, and well worth it to me to get a months worth of laundry done in hours. Everyone is super friendly and I highly recommend them! The price per pound for laundry at Hogan's Corner is now $1.50. This doesn't sound like a lot but it's a 50% increase - twenty pounds of laundry now will cost you $30 bucks to have done. This is 4.9 stars. If you're like me, you wait until the last possible moment to do laundry. This place closes at 10:30pm! I put the son's clothing in the 3X machines---I just stuff them and they come out clean---my kinda process. The dryers are really good. I brought enough laundry for 2 of the 3X machines and 3 of the 2X machines. It was about $30 in total. This was 8 large towels, a big, dense comforter, a blanket, bath mats, 4 pair jeans 20 t shirts, 6 or 7 shirts, and my clothes, which are mostly black and are about 3 loads so they get washed together in cold. I was on the dead run for 2 hours tending 5 machines and as many dryers but I'll be back...When I'm more flush, it's a treat to drop my stuff off and have them wash and fold it for you::sigh:: read more

Super simple but believe it or not this was the first laundromat that I have ever been to in my 20 plus 5 plus 5 plus 5 plus ALMOST 5 years and thankfully the lady in the green apron working there was very helpful. Bring your dirties and your cash...Get your quarters from the change machine they have there and plop them in the washing machine or dryer slot. The good - their by the piece dry cleaning is very reasonable and they put tissue between your sweater when they fold it. I like that. They have candy for you when you walk in and wait for your dry cleaning. They are within walking distance of my house. They are open on Sunday for pick up, unusual for a dry cleaner. The bad: Bulk dry cleaning destroyed one of my favorite cashmere/silk sweaters. They want you to pay in advance, which is probably good,but not for me and they hand write out everything, so it takes for ever. They don't have same day service. They don't box shirts. All of their machines work, there are a lot of extra large washers and dryers, it's clean, they have magazines for you to read, there's an attendant if you need anything, and they even have a candy bowl. Pretty cool place to.come to get your laundry done. They have plenty of washing machines, not just the little ones but the big ones as well. Plenty of dryers that actually work so you don't get that busted dryer. You can also sit in your car while keeping a close eye on your clothes. Don't know what kind of ride you guys are sporting bu lt my car is certainly more comfortable than sitting I'd some crappy folding chair for an hour and a half. They also do wash and fold service as well as your standard dry cleaning. The turn around time is fairly quick and the staff is pretty accomodating. All of this at a reasonable price. About the only negative to this place is that it isn't open 24 hours. But I'm ok with that because I know 24 hour laundromats tend to have a bunch of creepers at 2am. So I'm fine with the 10:30pm closing time. read more

I rarely write reviews. But I am baffled and aghast at the negative reviews so am compelled to offer my opinion. I live a few blocks away a have used Hogan's for years, for items too large for my own washer/dryer and, more recently, when my dryer was broken for 4 months. The place is and has been operated by the kindest and most helpful people you will find anywhere (I don't go often enough to know if it's the same or a rotating group, but they've all been great). The place is clean, well lighted, well organized, and spacious. They have updated their machines over the years, and most recently added more large capacity washing machines. I'm not sure when they added the PayRange app to their pay options, but it's worked flawlessly for me and it's super convenient. And you can still use coins if you don't want to use the app. I've also used their drop off laundry service a few times and they did a great job with that too. Been coming here for years to do laundry. There is a change machine if you forget your quarters. It takes 34 minutes to wash a load of laundry in the top-loading washers and about 40 minutes to completely dry. $1.25 per wash and $.25 per 10 minutes to dry. And the dryers are commercial so be careful not to overcook your clothes. At least they're not like the small, pathetic ones included in the U-District apartments. They have free wi-fi and parking up front has never been a problem for me. McDonald's and Subway are within walking distance if you get hungry while waiting for your laundry. read more

The owner, Matt, and the manager Lehua were very helpful when I had a problem with my down blanket, which was in no way their fault. They reimbursed for the damage so I could go purchase a new one. Hogans used to be my neighborhood laundromat but now I live near another. Hogans is a nice place, as far as laundromats go that is. They always have a big tin of candy! I've never seen that before at a laundromat. More than ample amounts of washers and dryers. I liked to use one of their many big washers and get everything done at once. I found the dryers back in the corner by the vending machines tended to dry things better. *Do not start a wash that cannot be finished before they close. They aren't kidding. The guys that come to clean and close the place up will toss you out with your wet clothes.* read more

Wifi works and password is posted in a conspicuous place. $1.75 to wash and 25 cents every 7 minutes of drying. Soda, snacks, detergent, dryer sheets, and laundry bags all available for purchase. No comfortable place for your laptop . It either goes on your lap or you stand with it at a counter. There are however outlets available at the counters. This place is in a great location, easy parking, plenty of machines, but they don't seem up care to make it nice. It's chronically dirty, and there are always broken machines. Dryers don't seem to be lint cleaned often, so it's more expensive and results are hit and miss. There is an assortment mismatched, uncomfortable second hand chairs that don't line up with tables and counters, and random unabled bins all over. On a couple occasions, the change machine has been broken, leaving patrons no other option. So many of these issues could be fixed by a more engaged staff. Likewise, the sign over the one sink asking partons not to wash feet tells its own story. . . Great location, lousy place. read more

No one has mentioned the reason I drive out of my way to use Hogan's-- the regular washers are top loaders--way easier on my back. And the two larger-than-regular sizes of washers are up on a platform. All the machines work well. The cleaning crew comes in at 10:00 pm, expects you to be gone by 10:30. It's always a second or third job for the clean up crew, is there any reason you can not give them your respect ? Of course, my BIG COMPLAINT about Hogan's is NO BATHROOM. This was my go-to laundromat for just over a decade (I recently moved and now have my own washer and dryer). Decent prices for washing and drying. I appreciate the high-capacity front-loaders, and the spacious dryers. Been happy with the drop-off dry-cleaning, too (though they don't do it in house). Wi-fi is erratic, but that's OK.
